  1. Actually, according to the season finale, when they found out Whitley was pregnant, Dwayne and Colonel Taylor calculated that their daughter would be a freshman in Fall 2015. Before all the Cosby nonsense happened, Debbie Allen was actually talking about the possibility of a reboot for this year and that they'd been in discussions with the previous writing and producing teams and all that. I really hope they move forward with it. If they can reboot Boy Meets World, then this can happen too!
  2. Yes. Compare how Riley looks to Kim's 13 year old, who is already bleaching her hair blonde and wearing a full face of makeup.
  3. Man, I have to go with Draya on the dodge ball. If we're coworkers, and I know that most of you don't really like me, there's no way in hell I would agree to play a violent sport like dodge ball with you. Kickball, softball, volleyball.....maybe. Dodge ball....nope; that's reserved for people who are actually friends. And then here's Meghan saying that it's a way to get out their aggression in a "friendly" way through one side of her mouth, and through the other side saying she's using it to get back at Jackie. I was surprised that Draya was standing out in the parking lot waiting for someone to check on her. Even her little friend with the awful hair took her sweet ass time to come out there. Guess she's a little thirsty to be in the group. Meghan obviously wasn't trying too hard to make things right with Draya if she took the time to invite everyone else but had Malaysia invite Draya. And how badly does Meghan want to be Draya? Draya isn't threatened by you, she just doesn't like you. Until you said this, I had completely forgotten that it was Brandi and Meghan who had actually gotten into a fight first last week! I'm still amused at Brandi and Malaysia now falling all over themselves (to follow producer instructions) to be friends with Meghan.
  4. Oh my god, this is the dumbest thing I've heard on a show full of dumb things. Did these cops learn their investigative technique from Inspector Gadget, because that's a really idiotic theory.
  5. That slap was long overdue. And what 10 year old comes home and TELLS their parents they are going skiing with another family. The hell you are! And April, yes, you're parenting style is different from Blair's, but it's also awful and ineffective.
  6. So Towanda's acting coach tells her to be herself when performing the monologue, and she acts like Tamar. Not surprised. Trina's restaurant manager is awful. Trina tells her to let bearded dude go (which Trina should have done herself or gone along with the manager so they knew she stood firmly behind the decision). And it was clear she didn't really agree with Trina, which she should have stated upfront and discussed with Trina the other options they could have taken before leaping to firing. Instead she goes to talk to bearded due, acts like she doesn't understand what he did, tried to skirt around the exact issue, and then tries to negotiate with him about apologizing and asking to keep his job? Just no. She needed to tell him "several people came to us and told us they felt you touched them inappropriately. This is not okay, borders on harassment, and can lead to potential legal issues. Let this serve as a warning, because the next incidence of this will lead to disciplinary actions, potentially you losing your job. If you don't understand why people might say that, the best strategy is to keep your hands to yourself so that innocent touching can't be misinterpreted as inappropriate touching." Bearded dude may have still flew off the handle, because he's insane and clearly there for the cameras (I noticed him staring directly into the cameras during several of his "scenes"), but at least she, Trina, and BarChix would have all come across as more professional. Trina has a long way to go about learning how to manage people, especially early twenty somethings (too much arrogance and hormones!), and she ain't gonna learn it from Towanda (really Towanda? Who exactly have you been managing/training?) Didn't even realize Vince was there until Tamar walked over and pulled him away from Bearded Dude. That whole situation was too ridiculous.
  7. Yes, because she was darker and chubbier or something.
  8. A couple months ago, I read Nikki Sixx's biography, "The Heroin Diaries", which had a lot of Vanity in it, as she and Nikki were engaged during the time period that the book covers. The book had a really cool structure; since it was actual diary entries, the co-writer of the book reached out to all the people in Nikki's life at the time and would have them read the entry and then allow them to comment on what they remembered about the day, event, incident, etc. All of those comments ended up in the book. Vanity's comments were all insane! She would skirt around what ever the subject was and start talking about god and the devil and other stuff in a very nonsensical manner that was so difficult to follow, partly because I was dying laughing at the cuckoo bananas of it all. Also, every other person interviewed for the book spoke about how awful and crazy she was during that time (1985-1987), which was right about the time The Last Dragon was made. For real. I will boycott any remake, especially one that stars Rhiannah. They need to leave all 80s movies alone!
  9. That nose used to point downwards, now it's clearly pointed up.
  10. I'm a little confused as to why Golden had a photo shoot for her pillow line, but it seemed like nothing had actually been designed/created yet. Also, the people sitting at the end of the table during how pillow business meeting, were totally laughing at her. And do people really have pillow lines??I thought pillows got designed as part of the rest of the furniture, like couches or bedspreads/comforters. But what do I know, I'm not an actress/entrepreneur with many "sub-businesses". <Laughing at myself because I just sighed over deciding to write about Paula and Forrest. Lol> I don't know about these two. They are both insane. They way he was questioning her about spending the night in Inglewood, was like he was upset she went to score without him, or hook without him, or something, and didn't cut him in on any. And then acting like Ri'shawn attacked her and "triggered" her sexual assault memories, just doesn't sit well with me. I could roll with her on that if she hadn't gone to the party specifically to pick a fight with him and the other ladies. The way she delivered it just came across to me as if she's used to pulling that out as way to get stuff, particularly with her mom due to her mom's guilt over what happened. It sucks that it happened to her and I'm trying not to be insensitive to that, but it just came across to me as a tactic (and I may be fully interpreting it wrong because I think she's crazy). On other note, more Shar please!!
  11. Lol! Answered in the Small Talk thread.
  12. Lol! Yes, very! I almost peed myself when I turned the corner and saw him standing there. I turned to my friend and said, "Oh my gawd, it's motherfucking Taimak!" And she said, "who?" And then I asked her what the hell it was she was doing during the 80s.....Anyway, he was super nice and friendly, even as I was geeking out and telling him that The Last Dragon is in my top 3 favorite movies. And then he posed with me for about 5 pictures and told me I was very cool and kissed me on the cheek! I was this close to asking him about Vanity and if he keeps in touch with her now that she's saved, sober, and bit off her rocker, but I thought it wouldn't be a good idea. Lol!
  13. Lol! I actually just met Taimak about a month ago. I didn't understand why Ghost just didn't shoot Kanan as on as he walked through the door. There was no discussion needed; Kanan knew what time it was. But I guess we wouldn't have gotten a beat up Jamie for Angela to fawn all over. Certainly not looking forward to seeing a crispy Kanan next season.
  14. Jackie also doesn't get along with Chantal, except for during last season when Chantal had a "music career" to promote and Jackie thought she cold use Chantal to embarrass Draya and her relationship. The other 4 must have had the good sense to get out early!
  15. For reals! That shit was just rude, especially considering that Monte's gf is best friends with Lena and Stef. Monte knew there would be fall out from that shit and didn't care. All she had to say was that she thinks she has feeling for someone else, and leave it at that. If I was Lena, I would have walked straight to HR after that conversation and get it on record.
  16. New Jesus is about as good of an actor as old Jesus. But he's very tall, muscular, and extremely good looking, so there's that.
  17. In the picture, you can see that she was telling the truth about her lips. The lipliner is overdrawn to make them look bigger. However, I don't care what she says, she clearly has had several nose jobs. And I agree with Andy that she was wearing glasses to distract attention away from her nose.
  18. Man, I just don't know what to say about Jackie. She just had me chuckling during this entire episode. Favorite Jackie moments tonight: -Draya's talking to Jackie about Jackie. Jackie sidebars to Megan, "you gon let her talk to you Ike that?" -Jackie calling everyone else instigators -Jackie blaming Megan for Megan "making" Jackie spit on her -Jackie telling Draya that Draya is the one who needs to apologize to Megan for Megan getting spit on -Jackie admitting she hears voices telling her to do things and Draya warning her that the voices aren't allowed to testify in court -Jackie also telling Draya that their friendship is done, but then ending the conversation with, "but, we still cool right?" -Jackie's "diamond" falling out of her ring onto the floor after she had a diatribe about all the houses and rolexes she owns -Jackie saying Megan threw "a bloody kotex" at her -Jackie telling Brandi that she can take her shopping and buy her whatever she wants, then following it up with something along the lines of, "then we'll be friends" I have a feeling that Doug keeps pushing Jackie towards the group, because if she's hanging out with them and unleashing her crazy on them, the he gets more quiet, sane, alone time for himself. She clearly has no friends, besides that awful Sunday, so she must spend all her time at home making his life hell. At least the BBW ladies get paid to be around Jackie, so as long as they're still getting their checks, they'll keep having her come around. And Jackie, the reason Shaunie was oh so concerned about you leaving is because she's the executive producer of the show and he knows with you gone, there would be no interesting footage to shoot. As clearly evidenced by them choosing to scratch the rest of the Santa Barbara trip.
  19. Yes! I forgot to mention this. Her short do with her natural color looked so incredible on her!! I think she looks so amazing with shorter hair and not all that blonde, heavy-looking weave all the time.
  20. Can someone please explain to me how Angela made it through this episode completely fucking unscathed?!? Not a bullet, a knife wound, or even a well deserved slap across her damn, smug ass face? I just knew something was going to happen to her and I kept waiting and waiting and waiting. And of course, Greg is actual a decent dude, so he only threatened to get at her legally. I'm definitely routing for him to succeed, but still entirely unsatisfying. Ugh! And on the things that annoyed me note: why the fuck is Holly back? Tommy's already crazy and when she's around, his brain is always more muddled. This has been my main problem with Jamie all season - the fact that he chooses to hide shit from Tommy. That's your partner, and by your own accounts, your brother. As crazy as he is, he's the one person that Jamie should be sharing everything with. If Jamie had told Tommy right after Miami, "hey, I don't have proof yet, but I think Kanaan is behind all this shit," at the very least Tommy would have been suspicious. If he had said that Holly asked him for money and a new identity, a half truth but still better then letting Tommy think she just left him, Holly wouldn't have been able to use it against Jamie and Jamie wouldn't have gotten stood up on his meet with Kanaan. If Tommy is supposed to be your partner, let him be your partner. That's why he pulled a gun on your ass! I really don't understand why Ghost killed everybody but Ruiz got to leave town. How does that make sense? Ruiz was the main motherfucker, behind Kanaan, trying to undermine Ghost, from the beginning when he tried to make a direct connection to Lobos. Speaking of Lobos. Of course that crazy mother fucker was going to live. And props to whoever called the head dude as working for Lobos. Now it makes a lot more sense as to why he chose to believe Angela's bullshit story about Greg.
  21. He recognized the license plate number as the same one that Briggs was telling someone over the phone, presumably the Sarkissian dudes, to tail. It's how Mike knew to follow asshole FBI dude and inadvertently watched him get kidnapped.
  22. Yes! I keep hoping that I'll run into him somewhere in Miami. So far, I've only run into the dude who plays Dale...at Target (he's very short in person). I loved that the crazy Filipino kid was all, "dude you're a worthless junky! Do something with your life!"
  23. I love when they do the spontaneous, freestyle singing. It's fun and a good reminder of one of the things that made the first season so enjoyable.
  24. I've never cared one way or the other about the baby actors, and never really noticed much when they changed the babies on this show. With that said, I recognized immediately when they changed to this baby and I absolutely love her (or them? Is it a set of twins?). And as many of you have said, she's extremely responsive and clearly paying attention to what's going on with all the other actors.
