  1. Thanks, Milz, I went to their website and see they have episodes of Motion posted. I've travelled to a bunch of National Parks so I'm going to check these episodes out.
  2. He was in Gentleman Jim (shown last night) and now I see him in the credits for Arsenic and Old Lace which just started. He appears to be the Michael Caine of his day.
  3. I tried to watch the video but it kept stopping on me. I read the article though. Real classy (snark). So Kennedy, former MTV VJ is on 2 Fox shows? Wasn't a big fan of hers before and can't take her seriously now.
  4. Seems like there's been a lot of channel turnover going on (G4 and Style replaced by Esquire, a Fox Sports channel replace by FXX, bio by fyi) so it seems that execs are willing to pull the plug rather than keep adding channels. I'd notice Live Well when I was channel surfing and it always seemed like they were showing infomercial type programming, or it looked that way.
  5. We can hope. The promos are supposed to make us watch, not turn us away! I'll watch but if it continues to be more of the same (Ramos family, boring Christopher and his new "family", etc.) I'm gone.
  6. I finally saw it this afternoon and enjoyed it a lot. I have to see it again when it comes out on DVD. In comparison to the original sequels this one is head and shoulders above them especially in the complexity of the battles between human and ape and the internal conflicts within both groups. I'm looking forward to the next movie. At the end when Malcolm tells Caesar we made contact and reinforcements are coming, he must leave but Caesar tells Malcolm to leave instead I took that to mean all of the humans should leave.
  7. Yeah, that solution will work, right. I used to watch Fox News but got tired of the repeated announcing "BREAKING NEWS" of the same thing that got boring. I think the other news channels do the same thing so I guess they need to keep up with each other.
  8. Per a discussion I found on dslreports.com, it's a legal dispute with the CT station. You'd think the channel assignments would be worked out better to avoid stuff like this at the last minute. There was a vague reference to maybe September but who knows.
  9. Green Acres was dissed in the NY Times article mentioned above. I agree 100% roseha.
  10. Thanks for the link Jipijapa. So channels like MeTV, COZI and Antenna TV are the result of broadcast TV going from analog to digital (more channels). I like it since there's plenty of old shows and movies that I've only heard of, never heard of or never saw. No one is making the author of the article watch this stuff. Green Acres is not an empty headed show either. 2 more days until we get MeTV in central NJ!
  11. I know this movie. Both times I've found on TV it I missed the opening scenes which send him to the future. It was on a few months ago and I checked for re-airings and they were in the middle of the night. I should have recorded it. There's a sequel that wasn't very good.
  12. I'm going to start getting MeTV next week, I can't wait. Looking forward to seeing some shows I haven't watched in years. I'm really looking forward to watching Batman. While I agree Star Trek season 3 was bad there are some (laughable) gems there like Spock's Brain and Turnabout Intruder. Compared to the movie Star Trek 5 I'd watch all of season 3 anytime.
  13. I know - it seems in most tours the yellow jersey changes hands a few times before the mountain stages then the eventual winner gets it. I thought Nibali was going to fade but it seems like this is his year. It probably also helps him that both Contador and Froome were forced out, if they were still racing it might have been a totally different race.
  14. What have the ratings been like? Maybe there's not much competition then and they hope more people will watch. However given the path the story lines went this year if they continue that way they'll lose more viewers - like getting rid of the Ramos family would be a step in the right direction.
  15. That makes much more sense! Thanks Sharpie. I tracked the race this morning via the letour website feed and saw Talansky was out then back in and finished the stage. He's not having a good tour. Looking forward to watching tonight's coverage.
  16. Apparently the bike frame broke and he went flying. I've never heard of that happening before, are the bikes so lightweight that this is a risk? He rode on with blood falling down his leg plus with the broken bone he must have been in quite a bit of pain. Love the mountain stages, they really shake up the standings. Nibali's got a decent lead now. My favorite scene was seeing Peter Sagan crossing the finish line slowly ... while popping a wheelie.
  17. Looks like it. The scene with Curtis and the Traveler looked like they were somewhere else other than Freelancer HQ but I can't be too sure. What I've been wondering is who are the other Clan leaders? Could they be Liber8? Alec? Julian?
  18. On the re watch I looked closer at the soldiers that came through the beacon at the end. I don't think Brad recognized them either and maybe realized he messed up badly. Since Kellog is in charge of Piron with technology years ahead of time (thanks to dead Kiera's CMR) whatever tech exists 20-30 years from now is probably more advanced than the world Kiera came from. I'm hoping for a 4th season, this looks like it will be a good battle.
  19. Aren't Corey and Chumlee childhood buddies? A while back they had an episode about Chumlee's 30th birthday (he seems so much younger based on how he acts sometimes) so wouldn't that put Corey at about the same age? I wonder if Rick actually knows the stuff he spews out off the top of his head either but he does a more convincing job than Corey. Yeah, that story about Corey quitting was so bogus. He's probably making plenty without having any ownership in the shop so what's his problem (besides the obvious)?
  20. Yes he left before the last season. They explained it on the show by saying Robbie was on a project in South America.
  21. I started watching I Dream of Jeannie when it first appeared in syndication in the early 70's. I used to prefer Bewitched but lately watching both I've come to enjoy Jeannie more because it's so silly. I haven't seen this episode in a while but I'll say the one where Tony and Roger start the episode in a flying saucer and they end up in a small town due to some difficulty - they end up being mistaken for Martians by the locals. When Jeannie shows up of course it gets silly. Where I live it's on THIS in the evening, I keep forgetting to watch so maybe this forum will remind me!
  22. Sad the Cowboys are gone but fitting they got to ride off on the horse. Classy exit. I don't care who wins anymore. Country Girls: No, you are not "that good", no one sees you as a threat, that's all. I guess sponging off of other teams is a worthwhile strategy but it won't win the race.
  23. Yeah, that is cold. It won't end well either I'd think. Since she sort of supports Liber8's message so she could be turned easily. So if "corporate" Alex is done with Kiera, he's not watching her through her CMR anymore? Interesting backstory for Travis, even though it ended with his capture.
  24. Loved the dogs! Darn, thought the country singers would be eliminated. In a way I'd like to see a final three of them, Dave/Connor and the Afganimals just to see them not get any help to win the race. I'm not a fan of Brenchel but I'm enjoying their attitude of "we U turned a team and everyone hates us, so what". I'm really rooting for a final with the Cowboys, Brenchel and whoever from that stupid alliance. At least there probably won't be anyone helping another team. Is there anything Rachel hasn't done (referring to the hotel room cleanup task)? IIRC, past Amazing Races have shown whoever wins the cars don't win the race, so Dave and Connor enjoy your prize!
