  1. I'm just watching the series now and yes I was shouting at the TV 'Come On' when he was getting the best of Reacher. I guess they wanted to create some drama but with the way Reacher's been depicted before, he should've knocked Dawson out right away.
  2. So sad to hear that Estelle Harris passed away. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/04/03/obituaries/estelle-harris-dead.html She's more famously known as George Costanza's mother on Seinfeld among her many roles. But she also played Mona's Grandma Sophie on Half & Half for one episode and served as a plot point when Mona met her boyfriend Nick's parents. R.I.P.
  3. Wouldn't the FBI or local law enforcement look for bodies though? This season definitely was a weird one. But it's over...yay.
  4. I rolled my eyes when Aaron came out of the taxi. I'm guessing Aaron and Zoey must've had some offscreen discussion. How would he even know what apartment she was in? Not surprised Ana's not coming back with her new gig. Disappointed Vivek isn't coming back as I liked his character. Co-sign on being glad Luca is gone.
  5. It is possible that the "polarizing individual" is in one of the other groups of contestants that haven't been featured yet. So the episode to avoid watching would either be e04 or e07 (assuming the third group of contestants show up there).
  6. They're definitely bringing the manufactured drama this season. As corny as it was, I actually do miss the "First Impressions" guesses. Speaking of guesses, the only one I had a possible guess for was also the most "dramatic". Will be interesting to see if she implodes next week. *LOL*. But at points Firefly was giving me Mary J. Blige vibes. Though I don't know if she's worked with Tyler Perry.
  7. I admit that the show lost me a bit and I was slow to continue watching. I'd watch an episode and then wait a week or two before watching the next one (almost like the old days before streaming...*LOL*) I wasn't really connecting the dots to what was happening and I couldn't bring myself to care (even falling asleep during episodes). But things seemed to pick up for me around Episode 9 (Jane Patrol) and after that things started getting interesting. And after Jane Patrol I started watching two or three episodes in a row. Parts still confused me but I was more vested. And then Mr. Nobody reeled me in with his humorous "exposition" tying in all the "b.s." from the previous episodes together. Of course his issues would have to do with a woman rejecting him and calling him a 'nobody' hence his nickname. And OMG I was ROTFLMAO when Flex had the whole town simultaneously orgasm except for poor Cliff who had to fake it...*LOL*. I finished the Penultimate episode last night and am looking forward to the finale.
  8. Of course we wouldn't have a show w/o any of the characters antics but I felt the other character's (mainly Barbara and Melissa) annoyance of Janine when as senior teachers they try to instill their experiences in dealing with the administration and Janine poo poos all that because she just HAS to make it right even if it winds up causing worse problems (i.e. the new carpet and light fixtures). My partner's also a school teacher (for high school math) and being in the school system for many years he identifies more with Barbara and Melissa. And since I get to hear his tales on a daily basis, I relate more to them as well. I do love the actress Quinta and am so happy that she was able to get the show on a major network. It's a premise that hasn't been done to my knowledge and it's enjoyable for me.
  9. I love this show but yes Janine is the character I like the least. Every week when starting an episode, I'm always wondering what is she going to do to annoy me 'this week'. *LOL*.
  10. Something about him does ping my gaydar off as well. It could be his voice....and... ... the fact that he was very eager to get the drama of other couples going. He did the same thing in Mexico and was very quick to give Danielle the tea before she totally derailed the whole train. I'd be surprised if they make the altar...and if they do, I don't see it lasting long.
  11. None of the current cast can compare to Lauren and Cameron. I agree the show got very lucky with them. In fact I was surprised they didn't make them host this season's show. But I'm sure they'll bring them back for an episode to play some reindeer games with the current cast.

    S05.E01: Panic

Plus Athena wasn't the one who caught him so I figured he was a goner. LOL
  13. I never heard of Run The World. I'll need to check that out. Hopefully I can get it on Hulu. O.T.: It was cool seeing Tye's backstory and by default the other three ladies stories on how their lives were before. I can't blame Tye's new lady for having doubts about their relationship.
  14. I enjoyed the premiere overall. Dre's ego is definitely out there if he thought he wouldn't be the dud husband in that scenario. The kid playing Devante couldn't even be on the photo with his TV family and Mrs. Obama. Poor kid wouldn't appreciate it now but might years from now.
  15. If done right, I would love to see "Get Out" the musical become a thing...*LOL*. Hopefully there is a Season 2 of Harlem. I definitely enjoyed the stories that were told.
  16. LOL oops I was so excited to post I overlooked it.
  17. There was one episode where Charlotte's brother comes to see Charlotte because he was divorcing his wife and ends up sleeping with Samantha. Other than that, I can't think of any other time the main 4 had a family member introduced.
  18. I just finished the first episode. Overall I'm intrigued enough to keep watching but I'm going to need Quinn not to leave her purse at the bar with a total stranger in the far away land of Long Island...*LOL*. I can only assume she didn't have any major credit cards otherwise that would be the first thing to do once she was rescued. LOL too at the guy waving his butt in the air waiting for Meagan to lick it.
  19. I'm so glad I watch this via Hulu so I could fast forward through 90 percent of both episodes. I feel like "the fix" was in to stifle any chance of Toddrick winning. Clearly Jewel is the better singer and deserved the win so they couldn't let him end with one of his acrobatic performances to possibly pull an upset.
  20. Woo hoo. I got my 2nd and last right guess of the season with Faith Evans. I knew unless the Skunk performed on cartwheels and juggled some balls at the same time that the Bull would advance. Edited to add....how contrived that Robin Thicke got the first impression guess and it's now a 3-way tie between Ken, Nicole, and himself. So is Miss Jenny gonna guess two out of the three remaining finalists to pull the ultimate contrivance? Stay tuned...LOL.
  21. I totally agree that my favorite scenes were with the three main ladies together. Season 2 seemed to have more of them interacting. I wish Coco wasn't isolated so much this last season.
  22. That is too crazy and just as his former Soul Food TV series co-star joins the show.
  23. Yup there were lots of onions in the room watching this episode. The last time the onions were this intense was in the Hen Begins episode and her speech of ".... Look at me! ... See me!"
  24. I agree there were a lot of contrived moments in the episode and I too wished Harrison wasn't introduced so soon, but it felt good seeing Dexter again. So I'm in it for the long haul.
  25. Even the outfit Brianna wore seemed like something Alexis (Dynasty's not Queens) would've rocked. I'm definitely continuing to enjoy this show. Bummed about Eve but hopefully she'll return (if the show returns).
