  1. Wow...very powerful last two episodes. I will definitely miss the Poussey character. I hope Samira Riley continues to get some juicy acting roles in her future. As a side note, it was cool to see Maritza get back at "Humps" for his diabolic act against her. It made sense that she'd be the one to push the gun away from him though odd that she wasn't with Flaca or her normal group.
  2. I felt like this last episode was a mostly "Towanda redemption" one. And LOL at the previews making it seem like Traci was doomed.
  3. I liked Tamar's shoutout to Toni's "Let It Flow" song off Waiting To Exhale when trying to cope with losing job at The Real (which has so many dramatic twists and turns in itself). "First thing Monday morning, I'm gonna pack my tears away..."
  4. I have to admit being annoyed by her 'holier than thou' act 90% of the time and she definitely was responsible for her death. It looks like though she may be getting a second chance...perhaps as the Savior of the souls of the 1000s of victims in that mass grave. That was their blood that reached out to her open wound, right? Maybe vampires sucking on her will cure them of their "hunger" for blood. I also found it funny that neither Rich nor Scott took the time to bury her. I guess the always pristine and clean white cloth was there at least...*LOL*. In other news.....what marvelous eye candy this show has....Carlos, Seth, Malvado...YUM! Hope Carlos and Malvado somehow get reincarnated in Season 3.
  5. LOL Melissa's remark was the line of the night for me.
  6. I finally got a chance to watch the entire episode UNINTERRUPTED today. I did like the cameos of Sharpton, Lemon, Tomei, and the 50 cent diss. But I too wasn't as drawn into the episode as I was last season. I'm not a big fan of Chris Rock but I thought his character would've been dragged out at least for a couple episodes. But I assume he may have a brother/lover/some other that may be upset by his "untimely demise" who will rise out of the ashes and attempt to take on the Lyon's later on in the season. I'm hopeful the season will pick up.
  7. Omgosh...there is a city called Towanda and it's in my home state...who knew? LOL: http://villageoftowanda.org/ Too funny.
  8. I loved Molly Culver since her V.I.P. days in the late 90's. She's definitely a great actress. I agree too being pleasantly surprised by Markayla surviving. I just knew she was gonna be the sacrificial lamb. Overall it was an okay episode but +1 for wanting "Mr Scratch" as the finale.
  9. I caught on a few minutes into the charade game that Tamar was referencing their Family Feud appearance. I did catch their episode which aired in the Detroit market on June 21st. Not sure how long shows tape on Family Feud before it airs. One interesting thing I've noticed that supports the fact that Towanda has absolutely nothing going on in her life is that for the last few weeks....the "sister feature" credits before each of the main scenes have mostly been about Trina, Traci, and Tamar with an occasional Toni sprinkled in. It's been a minute since Towanda's been the "sister feature". She really needs to get her life.
  10. I watched the Braxton sisters a few hours ago on Celebrity Family Feud. That show has gotten quite trashy over the years. I have to say I wasn't surprised by the order of the sisters, with Toni being the head and Tamar being 2nd with Traci bringing the rear. Towanda seemed to really be trying to be extra with all the posing and strutting she was doing and acting like she was the smartest Braxton in the room but loved that Tamar wound up being the one that saved the day with them winning the match and ultimately winning the charity money. Plus she twice gave answers Mr. Harvey just knew weren't up there but wound up being. I wonder if it'll air on a future BFV episode.
  11. I wonder why Capheus, Sun, Riley and Kala weren't part of the ORGY fun though that was a good Kala fakeout with the naked woman walking past Wolfgang.
  12. Those are cool credits but I'm thinking they didn't use because they gave away the "obvious couplings" between cop/d.j, safecracker/indian, and the gay/trans characters...though the pairings are clear right away. So yeah maybe they should've used it...*LOL*. I love a good Bollywood scene even if it is stereotypically used. Will have to watch that scene again.
  13. I've just got done marathoning season 2 of Orphan Black. Overall I'm enjoying the season though it doesn't seem as good as the first. With that said I know Paul is the main male eye candy of the show...but I was loving me some drunken shirtless Donnie this episode. Yummy. As for Tony, at first I thought it was Sarah with a bad hair-do and mustache. And I was totally screaming and covering my eyes when he went towards kissing Felix.
  14. I definitely liked the whole Dollhouse aspect of the episode (aside from the suspension of disbelief on how a single 'A' can pull it off). So since Tanner & Toby saw on the screen the Liars and Hanna clearly calling 'Alison', Mona, that means Alison will soon be released from prison since Mona's alive.
  15. All I could think was 'please' when A or A-minion decided to disguise him/herself as a burn patient to kill Cyrus. How the hell did A-minion get past security?

That's how I interpreted Cookie's "sissy' comment as well. I think she has mad love for Jamal. That was displayed during the infamous Lucious throwing little Jamal in the trash scene.
  17. That definitely was one of many stand out scenes. She and Jurnee S. are the standouts so far. I'm glad to see Taraji get the opportunity to really shine.

Terrence Howard and Taraji P Henson were the draws for me watching. For me I can see the references to soaps Dynasty and Dallas. I concur among the three sons that Jamal stood out the most. I'm looking forward to Cookie and "Halle Berry" duking it out. I'd love to see a drag out catfight...ala Alexis and Krystal...though Cookie will always come out on top. I'm hooked for now and look forward to next week's episode.
  19. Heh I can totally see why Elise wanted to stay "mum" about her love life if 50 and Rick Ross was part of that life. I bet she forgot about that candid convo she had with Golden. Even Golden was like WTF...*LOL*. The reunion was painful to watch. I wonder next week if they'll bring up Countess's revelation. I still can't believe she admitted that on TV. In other Countess news, I definitely have a different feeling on Helen (Pearl) from 227 in regards to her treatment of Countess. It has to be her, right, since Jackee said it wasn't her and I can't see Marla acting that way. Then again not to excuse Helen but older folks do seem to typically lose whatever filter (if any) they might've had when they were younger. Paula is a great actress cause she totally plays that crazy role, assuming it's not the pharmaceutical drugs, to a T. But I did like her dress. Carlos sure was definitely trying to channel Andy Cohen. I can barely stomach Andy so that was a bad move IMO. Guess they couldn't get Wendy to host.
  20. Well that was an interesting ending to a crazy season. I will say if nothing else, I was thoroughly entertained. It was trashy TV at its finest. Sign me up for season 2. Stand out moment for me was the totally staged product placement of the "VIP card". Sign me up for Season 2. #11 watcher here.
  21. I had a crush on him when he was on Fresh Prince. Will Smith who? I normally don't follow DWTS and didn't this season so had no idea Alfonso was on till I read an article on him doing 'The Carlton' dance. I need to look that up on Ytube. Rooting for him to take the Mirror ball this year.
  22. I thought it was enjoyable. Of course being a pilot it has some things that need to be ironed out. But I do like the cast, especially Laurence Fishburne, so look forward to giving the show a few more episodes to find its groove.
  23. October is out, Rosie Perez is in: http://deadline.com/2014/09/nicolle-wallace-rosie-perez-the-view-hosts-828653/
  24. Darn I forgot this was on. I was curious to see more on Lativia. Hopefully I can marathon the earlier episodes.
  25. I enjoy going to the casino and they have a slot game based on The Walking Dead series. Based on that and hearing positive comments from a slot forum I follow on the show itself made me marathon the first three seasons on Netflix last weekend. *OT* I wish I had seen it while TWoP was still running. I thought they would archive the old forums...didn't think they'd disable it permanently.
