  1. THIS! I was reading through to see if anyone had brought this up yet - thank you! I don't think it has ever happened on survivor with the closest being the hantz kid where his irrational behavior was worrying and they did an impromptu beach vote. Top Chef removed a contestant once after a physical altercation - immediately. They have video proof of her asking him to not touch her and then Dan continues to touch her - lay his gross head on her. She was put in an awful situation. Dan's actions should have caused immediate repercussions from production. At the very least - the talk should have occurred in those first few days and put him on probation. they let it go on way too long. I am also surprised how positive of an edit he got after Kellee's boot. Granted the women he primarily snuggled up against or touched were all booted. And his behavior was different when Janet was around which says a lot. The sad thing is he may not ever realize or see his behavior as wrong. And it makes me cringe how many comments (not here) that defend his behavior. If a woman says don't touch me and he can't respect that or even make the slightest effort to stop - this is an issue and should be dressed immediately. Regarding the gameplay and if removing him early would cause complaints of production influencing results - Production always impacts results and is part of the unpredictable nature and luck required in the game - all the advantages, etc. Who you align with is a part of it and can be very dependent on the game. Medical evacs also screw up games but are a fact of it. Dan's actions are the reason for his removal and his alone.
  2. the annoying thing about her choosing cotton - didn't pink-hair (already forgot her name) ask her if she was sure if she wanted to work with a fabric that didn't stretch when they were at mood Asma selected the cotton - and Asma said it wouldn't be an issue. I would rewatch to check but I already deleted the ep - and also don't care that much. I really hate the team challenge to start. I wish the judges got to see the individual personalities and styles at least once before throwing in the team challenges.
  3. Ok - so two demons got goo-ed last night - how easy is it to separate the goos?!? they could have some fun if Vicky comes back but is off slightly or they cast someone new because they couldn't separate them accurately! I am way too amused by this idea!
  4. I am really struggling to stay interested in this show. They are changing characters just to create unique new plot stories and I have zero interest in the whisperers. Their intro was amazing and heartbreaking and really intriguing. But learning about their life and having these set boundaries seems ridiculous. They are living as walkers - why do they care about boundaries? and what are they eating? how would anyone want to stay in that way of life?!? I think it would have been amazing if they had some ridiculous compound that was surrounded by walkers so no one would ever bother them. and they patrolled by walking within them and took over communities that way. Or even how they could go through towns and take all the supplies by being walkers. I just don't understand it at all and the more they try and explain it - the more logic flies out the window and the less i care! I am intrigued by the caffeine/speed/lack of sleep but feel like it was done way better on BSG. This is not groundbreaking story telling. And how on earth are there still this many hordes of walkers in the middle of rural america?!?!
  5. Me too! Always love seeing the loop and could even point out my old office building. I remember when Dark Knight was being filmed and the batmobile was parked nearby!
  6. I seem to recall reading some FAQ about it and they film it in a one condensed time/multiple days in a row in July time period so that they can work with schedules. If I remember correctly...
  7. That's a fun guess! I could see that!!!
  8. Seal was my first thought too as soon as Leopard started singing!!! WIth Leopard I knew instantly it was a guy and was surprised the judges were all focused on him being a woman. Seal had some major hits and then really is just known as Heidi Klum's ex at this point. But I am not sure Seal would be as hilariously in character so I think the Jamie Foxx is actually a good guess. I also thought RuPaul but the clues seem more focused on someone a bit out of the spotlight for career lately which RuPaul is not. Also, Nick Cannon made some side comment as Leopard left the stage after the first song and said "Kiss from a Leopard" and all I thought was is that another clue?!! Kiss from a Rose? Loved that it was Laila Ali. I actually thought it was a daughter of a famous wrestler or boxer and was trying to think of ones during the package and thought the bee might mean something more in the video (float like a butterfly, sting like a bee) and then Thicke randomly mentioned her but jokingly and I was all wait- actually - thinking she would be an amazing get! So happy it actually was her! Black Widow - I like the guess of Raven Simone! I also agree that glee's amber is a good guess. Her size definitely is unique. Before she sung I wondered if she was a gymnast but then her voice was way too impressive! Flamingo - definitely no clue - seems to be a performer - definitely has the strut and thought a girl band member is a good guess
  9. Yup - FF was my friend through all of this season which is why I was a little surprised by all the Drew-hate. I didn't watch any of the background stories so missed a lot of what must have bothered people. I have generally liked him and am happy he got the title. Daniel on the other hand gives me that creepy cultish christian vibe that always puts me off which I know I am slightly biased against as I think those types of mega churches are shady. I do respect him as a very talented athlete.
  10. Ha! Jinx! 🙂 grrr... I hate that this forum groups your comments that are close together as I accidentally edited out my original response that was literally the same response! I basically said that I would skip the auditions all together and just start with them all at the Academy. The auditions go on far too long and what made the original great was getting to know the dancers. Please bring back the top 20!!! I would keep the intro of the top 20 all dancing their own styles - great way to see everyone at the top of their skills to start.
  11. Sandy has always annoyed me but this last ep pushed it over the top. Her gaslighting comment about how if she was a prick she would tell them to just f-n do it and then literally saying Joao should ask how high to jump. That whole conversation was everything wrong with Sandy's lack of any management ability. There is no constant with her. She hugs them one second and then berates them in front of the others the next. Then says all is forgiven to show that she is so great. Then moves on to berating the next staff member. And I would be so annoyed if the captain kept interrupting my meals that much!!!
  12. I don't know - his two tattoos were mostly black, gray, and red with the torch having some yellow/orange. So similar in color tones and styles.
  13. SO I was excited to not have coaches or the skull pick! And hoped that would follow through to a solid judging and cut. And I thought it would as they critiqued the tattoos until everyone was not safe but Creepy Jason. Then, yet again, the judges decide that not meeting the challenge is not important and keep Cam. That was ridiculous - he should have gone home - those were not two different styles which was a specific criteria of the challenge. This season is getting worse on producer/judge controlling who stays in the competition.
  14. the good: as always - love Cat and how much she cares about everyone Enjoyed them going back to no all-stars - or at least I thought I would! - wonder if/when that changes Bailey - love his passion for dance and am excited to see how much he tackles and excels moving forward! most of the routines were just meh... the bad (so much bad) ☹️: the opening number cheesy graphics - so happy when that stopped Stephanie and Gino - the costumes (makeup especially) and the lighting made it almost impossible to see their faces or the choreo which made me laugh after all the talks of makeup and lighting being emmy-nominated! Madison getting contemporary (no favoritism there) and botching it (it was definitely not impressive how she recovered - good that she did but not impressive) Madison/Ezra's routine - the very start was cool and then they had them on a treadmill (running in place) and it didn't fit the music at all which threw me out of the piece. Eddie/Sophie was painful to watch - it had the chance to be a really fun routine and Sophie had some good moments but Eddie dragged it down top 5 girls - part costumes blending into the background and not much dynamic except for entangled arms made this hard to enjoy. Also I am not looking forward to Madison being front and center all the time top 5 guys - my first thought was did I turn on Magic Mike?!? such an odd choice. and I was surprised that they didn't let Bailey shine a bit more when I felt like all the other guys got a very front and center solo part while Bailey's was tucked into the beginning when they were all close together. So maybe I did miss the all stars... I really miss the introduction ep they would have after academy where they were all in groups of their same styles doing what they do best. probably works better with the 20 seemed so light on dancing by starting with the top 10 without allstars and only having an hour. I ff-ed more through the judging then I ever have. Stunt casting - even more evident this year that it was all about getting the background stories instead of the amazing dancers. I will probably continue to watch but it was so meh. Not one routine did I have any interest in rewatching.
  15. While I was ok with Ash going as I do agree that she has been circling the drain quite a while (aside from her one deserved win), I was actually bummed more that her going meant that the guy guest coach (not up on all the guest coaches names as i only started watching in the last few seasons) didn't get to move on. The woman guest coach annoyed me and I didn't agree with many of her points (granted she did try to tell Jason what was wrong - well the nose part at least). Her attitude was a bit obnoxious while the guy was giving really clear recommendations and supporting the women. I wish that they didn't move the guest coach on based on who got cut and instead based it on who got the best tattoo! Overall I don't think I would have minded who went home of the three this ep as I thought all of the bottom were fair game.
  16. While I know this in some ways I completely understand this heavy drinking Veronica... I was a complete good girl in high school and college - barely drank until 21 and even then was never one to party it up very much... mainly stemming from having an alcoholic parent. It actually wasn't until I was in my late twenties that I ended up having my heavy drinking weekends when I lived in a big city and didn't have to worry about driving or finding a ride. I finally let myself lose control a bit and I see that in older Veronica. While I am sure that some of it stemmed from being on a "teenage" network, I actually get it it. I also agree with someone else who posted in the other ep thread that she likely didn't take the e but enjoyed the alcohol and weed.
  17. Diana was definitely the best part of the show! And I thought that she didn't know about the conductor connection until reading the program at the venue which I assume had a bio on her.
  18. I think that was simply because he was in the last group of that round to go - usually they wait to do all dance for your lives at the end of the round. Sucks that they couldn't give him 5 minutes even to gather himself. Meanwhile the woman was in a middle group so she got some time. I agreed with both cuts and really loved Crack's (?) attitude at the end - it was refreshing to see the respect she had for the show and the other dancer's as opposed to the cuts who claim that it was a travesty that they were cut - cue eye roll! Same with the 30 year old who came as his drag queen persona last year. I actually wish they had given him a chance to solo or go again. Maybe it was because they were so heavy on contemporary boys. His respect and growth and love of dance was so evident! YES!!! I actually always enjoy the academy eps as you usually get to see more of their work ethics, personalities come out, and some surprises. I actually was one of the few who enjoyed the group challenges but thought that it was stupid to give it to them at the end of the day. They didn't show them all going through their solos again so I'm guessing because they way all the auditions were vetted and brought to LA that they didn't need to. The ep felt very rushed to fit in 3 rounds of choreo in an hour. Again - still don't really know anyone except the ones who got cut!!! I was bummed that the unique kidnap audition woman was cut. I understand it but was bummed as she was the only audition that I actually remembered!
  19. I have to admit, I turned it on and then switched to something else within a couple of minutes. I'm just not that interested even though I typically love these types of shows. It just hasn't snagged me yet. Will wait and check in here to see how it is progressing and decide if it is worth giving it another try.
  20. I'm guessing that they have stationary cameras up high that are aimed and focused on each judge and all the judges together so that they always have those shots without having to devote a cameraman to them. I always hate the staged questions - let me get you to talk about that line on the application that shows you have experienced major struggles in your life - and then they act shocked that they haven't already gotten a cheat sheet highlighted to prompt the questions. I'm so happy we are done with the auditions - I don't understand with how many changes they keep making, they still haven't thought to shorten the initial auditions part. I used to enjoy the auditions as there would be routines that would give me goosebumps that made me remember and root for them in the academy. I don't remember any specific auditions at this point.
  21. I find i want more of the in-between for the songs - I do usually like what they do with it in the room right after the songwriter first performs. Then I do think some definitely get overproduced. I will say that this last episode with Aloe/for the movie Hobbes and Shaw was one of my favorites. Aloe's voice is simply amazing. And I did enjoy the extra work they did on Same Blood - while I thought the chosen song was the best fit for the movie, I am so happy that Aloe also recorded Same Blood.
  22. So I watched - I know nothing of the books and was intrigued enough by the previews. I'm not fully convinced about the show yet but will give it another ep or 2. I found my mind drifting and caught myself looking at my phone a lot during the second half. Kind of like the comment above that if she picks the blue key then it will be a short series - I felt like that was wasted time as you knew she would end up picking the red. I'm not sold on the lead yet.
  23. auditions always take way too long - then they cut short the dance eps and have double eliminations thanks to holidays and such. Really wish they were on to the academy this week!
  24. The online version of "This milk is bad... here, TASTE it!" 🤣
  25. I'm not mad that she picked my least fav one - as I said - I still need to hear her version to see what she saw in it and envisions for it. Who knows - It may make me like it more! I love that the artist gets the final say. Doesn't mean I can't kinda wish for a different song to win! 🙂 Actually there have been a few times where I have liked another song more but actually agreed that it wasn't the right fit for the artist. I do like that they allow all the songs to be available for streaming.
