  1. I must not have been paying attention, because I have no clue what the act of terrorism was. Wow, lots of standing around in this episode.
  2. Thanks for pointing out Paddy Considine, I knew he was in the show but could never figure out who he was playing.
  3. H lord, what happened between Sudeikis and Justin Bieber??? I remember Bill Hader told a story that Bieber had a rude entourage including someone to hold his pizza slice for him. I agree that Ru is best at being Ru, him in regular clothes playing a regular character did not work. The reading sketch was the best of the night and it still had awkward camera things happening. Next show is John Mulaney! Cha Cha Slide is one of my favorite sketches ever.
  4. Wow, that was bad. Nice seeing Brian Doyle Murray and Tom Davis. And Jim Downey was a cast member at the point.
  5. I went to take a shower, and when I came back they had a different apartment. Did they move again?? That apartment was pretty sweet. I do wish Travis and his wife much success.
  6. I didn’t enjoy the first episode of season 2. Aidy is brilliant on SNL but seems to say all her lines the same way. The camping stuff was just yucky.
  7. Yes, he seems amped to 11, but I'll keep watching.
  8. Caught some of a marathon over the weekend. A lot of Berger episodes. I do like to stop and watch a bit of Charlotte's second wedding. Her wedding dress was stunning, I wish that I'd seen something like that when I was getting married.
  9. They are the actual people.
  10. The whole show is cuckoo, but I'm loving the dancing cardinal, every time he's on screen I laugh.
  11. I'm not quite sure why she gets SO VERY ANGRY over about a $25 difference. Like, reel it in, lady, you're gonna bust a vein.
  12. The first two episodes raced along and now nothing ever happens. I'm going to be patient, but only because we need something to watch on Sunday nights during dinner.
  13. I didn't care for it either. This season has been very chaotic. I think Larry is running out of steam.
  14. More episodes of the actual Good Place would have no conflict, nothing urgent to create a whole episode about. And we know that this show goes for urgency, plot wise. Happy people aren’t good TV, for the most part.
  15. Michael Schur said he got a job as an architect, but they cut that out of the episode.
  16. Two great episodes. Schur is so smart and thoughtful. And Marc Evan Jackson liked one of my tweets!
  17. I really loved the finale. It made me calm and happy. I'm going to have to rewatch this weekend to get every last detail. It's funny when the creator of the show either writes and directs or just writes an episode. This was the best episode in a very long time, and there have been some good ones. Mike Schur is so lovely and talented I will miss hearing him talk about the season finale once a year on the Podcast. I could listen to him forever. Thanks to him and this show, I've thought a lot about kindness and being a good person and I know a lot of fans have.
  18. I hope not to get slammed, but I'm wondering if Gina is actually a lesbian. She smacks of someone who would say yes to Beth asking her out and then--WHOMP-they're married, because, as noted, she needs a caregiver and a loyal one at that. Gina seemed extra fake during the painting date, "We're on a date!" It just didn't seem genuine at all. I think she's putting up a front.
  19. I saw one years ago where one woman went "Whew!" in relief and I appreciated it. We are a baby-loving culture, so they want to show the happy women, not the relieved or bummed-out ones.
  20. This season really is nuts so far. Hope next week falls into place better. So weird.
  21. I am now officially tired of any dance couple that tries to act like they are in love and tries to be sexy. It's boring. I've hated the rule that you can skate to songs with lyrics ever since it was announced. You're not interpreting the music, the lyrics are interpreting the music for you!
  22. For everyone wanting Driver in a comedy, watch Logan Lucky. It’s on Amazon Prime. He’s very funny in it. Subtle, but funny.
  23. Fun episode. Adam Driver has become one of my absolute favorite actors. His versatility is amazing. He has total commitment to each sketch and his comfort with the cast is evident. Halsey’s second song sounds like another song, but I can’t put my finger on it. Anyone hear something familiar in that song?
