  1. Dang, I only caught the final five minutes of that! My husband called it "Battle of the Brown Haired Brides."
  2. I found it on YouTube a couple of months ago, it's overwrought in places and then there are a few scenes that are really well done.
  3. Chris Matthews on MSNBC called the opening earlier in the week, and I thought it was better than I had imagined it being. I’m in the minority but I LOVE cameos, and Jimmy Fallon, Paul Rudd and James Corden were hilarious. Otherwise, the only other sketches that were laugh out loud funny for me were Hoops and the ugly sister. I have to say, JLo is a huge diva, but at least she seems to be filling out like a regular 50 year old woman, uh, who happens to be JLo.
  4. I get envious every year about how much the Meyers family loves each other. Seth and Josh are so cute together!
  5. I laughed out loud all the way through the episode, I loved all the cameos and I thought Ryan Reynolds was really funny during Boat Guy.
  6. I see no romantic connection between Eleanor and Chidi at all. Like, zero.
  7. I've realized something that bothers me with this show. It's not a big thing, but it bugs. Characters seem to do a lot of talking to the air, like making a speech but not TO anyone, just looking off. I noticed it in season two when everyone went to the Bad Place, KB does a lot of it in that episode. I saw a lot of it in this episode too.
  8. Wouldn't it be interesting to mix it up with the cast? (Except perhaps for Jamie Foxx, who I thought was fantastic).
  9. The cast will have a blast together at Manny's wedding!
  10. Wasn't it going to be an hour? Is the Seth Meyers thing the last half hour?
  11. I love Patsy! My late mother and I used to listen to her all the time. Now any song of hers brings back bittersweet memories.
  12. I've had it with Brent. Even the podcast today had him on it, and it dragged. Hopefully the show will do one of its famous resets and we get some serious plot movement soon.
  13. For any of you diehard fans, Noah Hawley has written a Making of Fargo book, it's a whopping $35 an Amazon. Thinking about it, but only with a giftcard!
  14. We'd be better off watching "Documentary Now" with Bill Hader doing a pseudo Robert Evans character.
  15. They are still more than relevant. I’m excited because they are my favorite band and they will be on as an early birthday present.
  16. I can't stand Tara Lipinski, so by association Johnny Weir gets my hate. I think they are two "mean girls." By the way, I always appreciated Dick Button's honesty. He knew his stuff and he was usually saying something right as I was saying it out loud to the TV.
  17. I’m in. Seth is a great storyteller so I bet this will be fun!
  18. I really enjoyed his last episode, the hockey commentator sketch is still one of my favorites.
  19. Maybe he's another spy for The Bad Place and he can mercifully be turned into goo.
  20. I can't stand the thought of dissecting a fetal pig, so I only half-watched. What I did see was indeed yucky. Oh, hey, the REAL Fiona Applesauce singing the end-credits song.
  21. If I'm not misguided, they are in their rebooted Good Place, which is in the Medium Place. I do notice they seem to be in a set for Mindy's house and not an actual house where they normally film her scenes, which was supposed to be 100 degrees and full of flies!
