  1. I liked it as well! It was sweet and funny and I would recommend to anyone.
  2. Written by Glen and Les Charles, who created Cheers.
  3. Fun fact: Ted Danson had a guest spot on Taxi, during which he ran over to where the auditions for Cheers were, and auditioned for Sam.

    Hamilton (2020)

I’ve watched the three Georges when I’m down, it always makes me smile.

    Hamilton (2020)

So I signed up for Disney Plus and will cancel before the end of the month. I also had to explain to my husband that we were going to sit down and watch this, and then had to explain which King George we were getting! He likes Taran Killam, but I keep telling him we are getting Groff from Mindhunter. Also he asked me this, "How long is Hamilton? Six hours?"
  6. No, I’m working from home, I just want them to shut up!
  7. I also laugh every time. Such a funny performance. Unfortunately, my neighbors have a small child named Marco. All day long I hear “Marco! Marco!”
  8. Thank you! I caught an episode the other day after not watching in eons. The list of stuff the couple wanted was the usual stuff, but it makes me laugh when the wife says she will start cooking only if she gets the huge gourmet kitchen. Sister, you can cook in any kitchen that’s functional. I would bet money that she never learned how to cook.
  9. The author really knows his stuff about Cheers. He also has a lovely piece about the episode “Endless Slumper.”
  10. Whoops,I like Don Lemon. This was indeed powerful, the point didn’t seem to make people laugh. It brought things home for me.

As a glasses wearer, this is indeed a sad story! I’m disappointed I will have to subscribe to Disney Plus for this and then cancel after I’ve watched. I don’t usually want anything Disney coming into my home!
  12. They had to, she had a stint on Broadway, I believe.
  13. Jimmy seems like a sensitive soul. He's teared up several times, including a guest spot on the radio show I listened to in Los Angeles, where he used to work. He may be feeling stressed during this time and he needs a break. I get it.
  14. I read all of this in my mother’s Boston accent.
  15. I don’t know if it was improvised but Danson shaking his ass is not a bad thing in my book.
  16. The producers knew very early on that their bread and butter was Sam and Diane. And since I was around then (even though I was only 12), I loved them as a couple and I still do.
  17. HBO really needs to make more once COVID is over, I never want to be without this show.
  18. You have two more seasons to get to Screaming Viking.
  19. I love this guy too. I laugh every time I see the commercial.
  20. I really expected this to be funny, as we all did, the cast is great, but....ugh. I laughed once at Steve Carell's face when he saw the missile launch fail. That was it. Not giving us a reason why the wife is in prison. Not good. At least give us a standalone episode that is some sort of flashback. Having Lisa Kudrow in your cast, and you keep her in prison? I wanted to like this since I've finished a bunch of shows while in quarantine, but now I won't be able to get past the second episode.
  21. If you're watching season 2 straight through, Sam and Diane have mini breakups where they are not actually broken up, then the next episode they are together without a discussion of any issues.
  22. You're on it! They are: Anthony (or Ant'ny), Serafina, Anne Marie, Gino, Lucia, Ludlow and Elvis and Jesse.
  23. No, we don’t get to see how Sam and Carla meet.
