  1. I personally loved the "A MOVIE" bit. So, so true...😢💔
  2. My heart is full - and broken. I am just going to repost my reply from the S36 thread here...it's too emotional to write all over again. I would have been crying watching Alex's final episode under regular circumstances. The events of this week just made it worse. When Alex's first episode aired on September 10, 1984, I had just started kindergarten, had welcomed a new baby brother and would turn 5 later in the month. From that day on, he was always there as an oasis of calm, comfort and consistency. We've known he was gone since November, but now that the last of his episodes have aired there really is finality to it - and in the worst possible week. I think that's why all of America cried a little longer and harder tonight. Thank you, Alex. So long. 🙏💔😢

  4. Please, ABC, look at your ratings again. Make Ana the full-time fifth host and let MM go. In a week where we had to deal with 45's phone call threats to GA's secretary of state, Alex Trebek's final Jeopardy episode and the riots at the Capitol Building (not to mention the ever-climbing COVID-19 numbers), we need more voices like Ana's and less like MM's. Even though I mute the TV when she speaks, can't rub away that smirk of hers while watching. Please!!
  5. The writer of this article is totally right about "A Closer Look": https://uproxx.com/tv/seth-meyers-maga-trump-coup/
  6. She's always a voice of reason - unflappable.
  7. What's the over/under that MM opts out of tomorrow's show rather than discuss what happened in DC today? 🤔
  8. Please - anyone but Ken!!! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.seattletimes.com/entertainment/tv/seattles-ken-jennings-about-to-guest-host-jeopardy-gets-embroiled-in-twitter-storm-over-bean-dad/%3famp=1 Do we know who any of the other guest hosts are going to be?
  9. @bankerchick, you absolutely nailed it. No matter how much money he earned from J!, there's one thing he can't buy and that's class. Alex had class. Ken...not so much.
  10. Vulture.com just referred to MM as "the national embodiment of everyone’s least favorite cousin". 😝😂 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vulture.com/amp/2021/01/joy-behar-and-meghan-mccain-fight-the-view.html
  11. I'm a fan of Julie Lessman's Love's Silver Lining book series. The main female character is named Liberty, though she is often referred to as Libby or Libs.
  12. Yeah, haven't we already suffered enough??? 😜
  13. At least Sara is kind, upbeat and doesn't look down on other people with a look like she's smelling stinky fish.
  14. I love her sarcastic, dry sense of humor, plus her glasses and smile!! It's always a pleasure to watch Rachel.
  15. Rachel and the other hosts are coming back from the holiday break just in time!! This is going to be quite a week. 😳

    MSNBC

For the longest time, I thought the "MS" in MSNBC stood for "must see". At the time MSNBC was launched, the parent network's motto was "must see TV". It took forever before I learned that it stood for Microsoft. 😝😂
  17. My nephews, born in the mid/late 00s, love both HB and WB...everything from Looney Tunes to The Jetsons. They absolutely loved Tom and Jerry. I never realized until I was an adult that it was/is probably the most violent cartoon of all time. 😳
