  1. That's exactly what I thought during that whole sequence, starting from when the snow fell (🤔 was knocked?) from the tree onto Jackie's pyre. It was giving me complete LOST vibes and all I could think was, I hope they give a better explanation when all is said and done!🤣
  2. It was a bit of a bummer but it left me wanting more at the same time. I'd love to see a second season detailing a reunion scenario but I won't hold my breath. Eddie definitely wasn't good enough to go on his own but Billy was really the jerk for taking his spotlight moment at the hometown show and then doubling down on it during his band introductions the next show in Chicago. Neither of them were great at keeping their egos in check. I was already aware that the documentarian was the daughter because I kept seeing the actresses name in the credits and kept wondering when she was going to turn up. I finally checked IMDb and she was listed as both so the reveal wasn't a surprise but I still thought it was really well done.
  3. I was really choked to see Sophie go, I really thought she might be rescued with the others and continue her plan to help the fae. Jonah buying it the way he did made his murder of Sophie so much easier to accept, lol. I have a bad feeling that Tourmaline is somehow going to turn out to be the beast. It seems a little obvious to me but hopefully there's a twist I don't see coming. I also see the potential pairing of her with Darius. I'm okay if I'm right on that one.😁
  4. Along with @Spartan Girl's comment above, I'd forgotten much of this. A binge rewatch before season 2 started would have been a better idea than I thought at the time, lol. Thanks for this.
  5. If Kevin was being physically abusive wouldn't Sam have noticed it when they were having their affair and said something or asked Allison about it? Very interested to see more of Neil's awakening to Kevin's poor treatment and complete lack of respect for him. That could be quite the reckoning given what we've seen of his real world persona. I'm also very curious to see why Allison feels there's no way she could have gone to college despite the reporter saying she had options. I'm wondering if maybe she got pregnant senior year or just after graduation. Perhaps they married out of convenience and it being the right thing to do, only for her to lose the baby and the ability to conceive again and Kevin holds it over and against her.
  6. I disagree... It occurred to me while watching the scene that starts the musical number (because of course!🤣🤣🤣), Anthony is a baby in a grown man's body. He has been aged up physically but has never had any of the life experiences that would allow him to grow mentally and emotionally and the actor is playing him as such. I therefore submit that he is the greatest actor that Riverdale has ever showcased!😏
  7. I caught the botched high five as well, lol. I had to watch it back to make sure it wasn't my eyes playing tricks.😆 The dog licking all of Archie's stab wounds away with his magical, healing saliva might just be the funniest thing this show has ever given me.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 God bless you, Riverdale... I'm going to miss your ridiculousness when you're gone.
  8. Haven't finished watching yet, only about halfway through but why is the dialogue audio such fucking garbage?! Is it just me? It's bad enough with Butcher and Frenchie's accents but what the fuck is with Homelander and Deep mumbling all their lines because they're supposed to be "intensely whispering"?! Seriously, is it me or is the sound design pure shite?
  9. I'm more curious why the city already appeared to be half in ruins and burning while Luther was proposing to Sloane and everyone else was celebrating their "victory"? None of the previous kugleblitze events showed any damage being done other than the obliterated animals and people. Or, did I miss something?
  10. I heard a rumour Allison is the 🤬 worst! Is it just me or does she basically have this arc every season?
  11. Um, sooo...what about Le Bon Nuit, the super secret not so secret night club/speak easy/fund raising hot spot beneath Pop's? Did that get moved too or is it kinda like a Fight Club thing where we're not supposed to talk about it?😆
  12. "...the hell was that?!" Awesome, Daryl. That, was awesome.🤣
  13. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That's the exact same thought I had!🤣🤣🤣🤣
  14. Exactly what I came to see, if anyone else mentioned it. Is the suit imbued with magical, one size fits all powers, lol?
  15. 😆 I'm surprised he didn't use a sword and only keep their heads.😏
  16. I've had that same theory about Hannah since very early on but I hadn't considered the rest of your theory because I'd completely forgotten about the brother storyline...but they're showing Harrison's memory flashbacks too vividly to not be him, so I don't think so. I'm sticking with my Hannah theory, though.
  17. Except we don't know that the cave is NOT the crime scene. All we know, and more importantly, All Angela and everyone else IN THE SHOW knows is that Iris went missing. She could have been brought there first and then killed or she could have been dumped after the fact, it's undetermined at this point. When a body is found, investigators can only work from the origin of discovery utilizing forensics to hopefully determine all factors in the death, that's "why bother". Angela knowing Dexter's true identity and background makes him her quickest, easiest option for maybe finding out what happened. Now, if you want to argue the efficacy or likelihood of utilizing the skills of a supposedly dead man in any case or trial brought against any accused perpetrator, that's a different story, lol.
  18. She never used his name, but Jadis did refer to him when Huck asked about her trading someone to be accepted in. I actually enjoyed the show, for the most part, but it really did kind of fizzle at the end without any kind of real resolution. I really hope some of these characters at least receive some sort of inclusion/conclusion if and when these Rick movies ever surface.
  19. Junior has been a douche since minute one, not surprised in the least he took this turn. That said, it's going to be fun watching how this plays out. I assumed there was going to be ten episodes, I'm both sad and excited there's only one left. Hoping for more seasons if it hasn't already been announced.
  20. Agreed. *Watches episode nine* 😒.... Did they, though? 🙄😔🤦🏻‍♂️
  21. I didn't even realize until looking up to see if there was info on the French song at the end that next week is the season finale. So little has happened it feels like there should be another three episodes. All I can say is Kipling better show up with Niles' head, the lone escaped butt monster should arrive on the scene, Larry's larva lad needs to serve it's real purpose and the rest of our misfits have to get back to abnormal. This show has fallen so far from season one's great and gloriously weird perfection, it's a sad, pathetic shell of its former self...kinda like Larry, post negative spirit abandonment. I really hope season 4 can recover and return to some semblance of its former brilliance.
  22. That's what I said!😆 Reading through following my post, I'm glad to see I'm not alone in my disdain for Bishop, lol.
  23. I forgot this was the 100th and a host of older Legends were guesting... actually, I had only heard mention of Wentworth. The initial start of the episode had me dreading the next hour; 'oh great, Spooner and Astra, the worst "legend" in the history of the show (fight me, lol) stuck in a Gideon's brain bottle episode', ugh! Astra aside, it ended up pretty great... except until Bishop reared up again....and again. What is with the CW and Berlanti recycling the villains on their shows so that they overstay their welcome and make the shows almost unbearable? Legends has managed to avoid it, for the most part up until now, I guess it was their turn. Can we please have him shut down and vanquished in a maximum 3 episode arc?
  24. I'll agree that the potential was there...but I wouldn't have trusted these writers to handle it competently or make it work, lol. Ultimately, the best thing about this season, for me, is that they didn't even attempt to incorporate any of that.
