I was thinking something along these lines when Josie's parents (haven't got all the names down yet) found her painting. I can't remember how much it's been referenced over the seasons but it was established in the opening scene of season one that Clark is an excellent artist. If you can recall, she's on the floor of her cell drawing while Eliza does a voice over describing the situation and premise before being taken out and told that they're being sent to the ground. I immediately thought Josie's art may be a remnant of Clark and a sign that she's not entirely gone. I have to agree with others that Eliza is doing an amazing job creating an entirely new character with Josie. Maybe not Tatiana Maslany Orphan Black level, but impressive none the less.

That should be on a t-shirt, lmao! What a fantasticly fun finish. Between fits of laughter I kept saying to myself "this is so bizarre!" I can't wait for next years craziness. 🤣

Thanks. I did eventually see her tweet and I addressed it, over on the speculation thread, I think. I was disappointed by her decision and I think she could have done it, no problem, but I respect her choice and thanked her in another tweet for the 5 years she gave the show. Don't know if she saw it but... I felt it was the right thing to do.

I'm just learning all of this after posting my disappointment both here and on twitter. I have to admit, part of me does suspect something fishy, like maybe she was let go and struck a deal to make a public statement that it was her decision. However, then you have to wonder, why would they cut her loose with one episode left? It wouldn't be that difficult to make her appear older, especially considering they didn't bother to do it with anyone else, and it had no bearing on her interactions with the other characters. Ultimately, I have to believe that for whatever reason, it was an artistic decision on her part. If not, then it was a completely ignorant decision on the producer's part and I hope she was well compensated for lying on their behalf.... But I find that scenario incredibly hard to believe. As to her being body shamed on social media, that's completely believable and utterly disgusting. She's a beautiful, healthy looking, successful young woman and no one deserves that, regardless of their situation.

At least the rogues Killed it - @robinlordtaylor @mister_CMS & @cameronmonaghan were fantastic & amazing as usual. Overall I enjoyed it for what it was but ultimately disappointed without #BatCat😞😔 I stand by it and don't buy for a second that Camren's height is a viable reason for recasting. There are ways of framing a shot and filming actors to appear taller than they actually are - Cruise and Stallone benefit from such techniques on a regular basis, to name just two. A different hairstyle and some makeup in combination would have easily allowed her to look ten years older... Not that they bothered to try and make anyone else look older. The lack of aging and the recast are my only real issues, other than that it was relatively enjoyable. Someone up thread said something to the effect that Camren initiated or necessitated the recast; I'd like a citation or more information to back up that claim.

How much longer is Oliver going to be the b plot in his own fucking show?! Everything about this was horrible, I can't remember hating any other episode more. Pure garbage. I haven't visited the site since all the changes and upgrades took forever and I hadn't heard about Emily leaving until I read it here. Can't say I blame her, the writing really has turned to dog shit. I just wish that knowing the final season was coming up and that it was going to be short, she would have stuck it out. Felicity is the one constant bright spot for me and considering the show about Green Arrow has decided it no longer wishes to feature the Green Arrow and will now also be Smoakless, I can't begin to fathom how I'll possibly be able to finish this series with any sense of joy or ease of commitment. I never thought I'd say it but the* show is done and I'll be glad to see it go. Catie Lotz and everything Sara was the only thing enjoyable about this episode; thank God for the Legends.

Just watching now. Had to stop to cast an early vote for Jellybean calling Jughead "Kid Kerouac" the funniest line of the episode. Ok, back to it to see if I'm right, lol! 🤣

That's a good point, much harder to do it back then. I signed a petition or two to try and do my part to "Save Jericho" back in '06, and I thought THAT was an impressive campaign; it pales in comparison to this, I think.

LMFAO when he said that, best line of the episode, and there were a few great ones. Messed up as it is, I think I enjoyed Betty's segment the most just because of Lili's voiceover work for Betty's inner monologue and her interactions with Ethel.

Also, Mick being somewhat of an old school "man's man", I thought she would expect him to fit in better with the 1920' crowd, even if it was in Paris and not the US.

Never in a million years, at the end of season one, would I have guessed this would end up my favourite of the four current Arrowverse shows. I stopped reading halfway down the first page just to post this because everyone had already said everything that needed to be, lol. I said last weeks was possibly my favourite episode of the series so far but I think they may have just topped it.

According to Kirkman on TD, it could mean something as simple as their turf but the way he said it I'm guessing there's more to it, at least philosophically. They said it returns early February, the tenth IIRC. Strangely enough, IMDB has a picture of Abraham in place for that episode.

I enjoyed the episode but this is still awesome, LOL! I hate that they only dropped more breadcrumbs about the rift between the communities and we're still clueless, but at least it's something to look forward to. The Henry story line could have been cut back a bit but I get why it was there; it wasn't an anti-drinking PSA, it was an anti being a dumbass PSA and it showed him to be more mature and responsible than those other two idiots. At least he's getting some real development and will probably hook up with Addy instead of moping and pining after Enid. Hate on me if you must but, as always, I loved the Negan stuff. JDM is just too damn good and fun to watch! When Gabriel told him to STFU, I thought "Damn, The board is going to love that!" - I'm a bit surprised it hasn't been mentioned more. I had to rewind it to figure out how he knew the door was unlocked and I cracked up at the little smirk on his face as he tossed the tennis ball back over his shoulder. Now I'm wondering if it was an accident or if Gabe did it on purpose as some kind of test or something...I hope not, that would be too many threads. Everything with the whisperers was intense and unnerving. They've really managed to bring back the creep factor this year; hopefully they can keep it up. Jesus/Tom got a raw deal, not nearly enough character development before killing him off, I don't think...certainly not enough screen time, at least, but damn if it didn't pack an unexpected punch! Solid Mid Season Finale, can't wait for it to come back.

Sounds like this is just a one off because he's buddies with Micheal Cudlitz.... Too bad, he would make a decent, nuanced villain, I think. It was a small role as well, but again, integral to plot progression. I forget who played her husband but he's had a fairly established career as well, and we didn't see them die so they could return. This last statement could very well be the answer to the mystery; they take a small role just to say they were on it and have the experience. Maybe Zack was a fan and just wanted the opportunity to play a zombie.

I saw his name in the credits and was all like woo hoo! Pony Boy! But if it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't have known who he was or played so thank you. That cracked me up, lol! It's funny, I didn't see his name but recognized him right away because I've seen him in a bunch of stuff the last two seasons or so. He seems to play antagonists most of the time so my immediate thought was "Hey!...What are you up to or what are you going to get up to down the line, Mr?" lol. Should be interesting; you don't hire a name actor to be a simple gate guard and errand boy.

They weren't scissors, she was using her knife. You can clearly see her sawing back and forth at the lock of hair with the blade. My thought was "has nobody ever found a pair of scissors?", but really, why would she randomly have scissors with her in the first place? She didn't take Henry out to meet him for that purpose. It was an after thought when she saw how unkempt he was; without actually saying it, she basically told him he looked like shit. If she'd whipped out a pair of scissors, it would have been the most unlikely and ridiculous thing to happen in this episode, and I'm counting the sling shot projectiles going clear through the walker skulls. I enjoyed it for the most part, I think the show is still steadily improving over the last season or two, but I think it ended too soon; it felt anti-climactic. I suppose it was probably intentional so next weeks mid-season finale will have greater impact and consequences. At some point something has to happen as a catalyst for Darryl to reconnect and become front and center to justify all this money Reedus is getting. I'm liking the new cast so far, particularly Luke, which is surprising because Dan Fogler usually drives me nuts. They haven't done anything exceptionally stupid yet and I think their reactions are fairly normal given their situation and subsequent treatment at the hands of Michonne/Alexandria. It's still not at peak glory days and probably never will be again, but I'm liking the job they're doing so far and I'm looking forward to see where it goes. ...Which is more than I can say for last year.

At one point she said something about him having become too powerful and also when she was sending Mallory back she said to pick a time when he wasn't so strong and would be more vulnerable.

Ugh....I mean......I don't know. There was some good stuff but it was all just a case of too little, too late and I think it came across as good as it did because it came on the heels of two episodes of complete gutter trash and a largely convoluted season where much of the pre Apocalypse was inane, inadvertent or rendered irrelevant. The actors playing multiple roles is most likely a result of this slapdash, hodge podge narrative style where so many characters and story elements are thrown into the pot that casting different actors would culminate in the Leads having minimal screen time. God forbid that Sarah and Evan only be in five of the ten! (can we get emoji's? I need an eye-roll emoji right here)....Better story telling could solve that issue. Honestly, other than Gran/Bubbles, whom I thought might have been the same person until that went nowhere and both characters became essentially pointless, I had no issues telling the characters apart. The problem lay in the ultimately underwhelming story that facilitated the show getting it's money's worth for all those actors pulling double plus duty. I would still put it slightly above Roanoke but... if I were to ever bring myself to watch them both again, I can see a future where that could possibly get flipped; I doubt it, but maybe. It had some really good laughs, I'll give it that. I absolutely loved that Coco was given Madison's personality for her memory wipe/cover, that was hysterical. Also, I think I'm in the minority but I loved Micheal's multiple hit and run death as well. There was something deeply satisfying and darkly comical about seeing someone who got zero development between confused, weepy, whiny demon baby and all powerful Son of Satan being mowed to death by SUV. @oompa: That was great too; I got the Alien reference but I was wondering what the Daisy song was from. I've not yet been able to get through 2001:ASO, so thanks for that! ;) Having Angela Basset return was a nice surprise for me too, I had forgot hearing something about her coming back. I don't have any real hate for Adina Porter but, with the exception of her True Blood role, every one of her characters seems to be very similar, regardless of the show. I don't remember caring very much for Madame Leveaux on Coven but AB created a unique character from what was on the page, or at least fleshed her out with some true personality, and it was really fun to see that again. Probably because she was one of the "good guys" this time, but still. Having her kill "Adina the talk show host" (See, Ryan Murphy? Viewers STILL not remembering character names at the end of a season is a sign of shitty writing!) was deliciously good. I'm not sure there's too much more I can say. My ultimate take away is how much I miss Jessica Lange. Her scene in the bedroom with Satan's sperm and Vivien's egg elevated the entire episode above mediocrity and was arguably the highlight of the season. It may be too soon to say for sure but I think I might be done. I have absolutely zero interest in a season where the Mannequin Twins are unwittingly responsible for enabling The Apocalypse 2.0 through no fault of their own. I've just lost all faith in Ryan Murphy's ability to craft a cohesive, intelligent and interesting story, let alone new characters with any growth or substance. Whatever is next will have to sound pretty fantastic if I'm to watch at all...we Shall see.
