  1. What the hell did congressman douchebag hear that caused him to shoot?! It sounded like someone stepping on broken glass in my surround sound rear speakers... He half turned in reaction then turned back and fired, completely unprovoked as far as I could tell.... Red's response was perfect.πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  2. Well...it didn't have near the laughs I've come to expect from my beloved Riverdiculous but I thought the songs were some of the best the show has produced. They actually got me thinking I wouldn't mind a soundtrack album of sorts to hide amongst my vinyl collection...in the guilty pleasures section!πŸ˜†
  3. I wondered this too. Funny how things hit people differently; I thought this was the best of the season so far and one of the best episodes in a while. Having grown up with Chuck E. Cheese as a childhood staple probably DID help.
  4. Same! Why they felt they HAD to go to France is beyond me. Between stock footage and CGI they could've easily turned Atlanta into Paris without missing a beat. It's 30 some odd years into the ZA, would streets and buildings really look all that different, close up? The more ridiculous idea is the in world logistics of him even getting there, lol!
  5. If I were a parent, I would be concerned about the quality of education provided by Stonewall Prep, considering the 40 year old sitting behind the wheel of the teams carpool vehicle. 🀣 This show continues to be the most consistently funny comedy in all of current television😏. I'm really going to miss it when it's gone. Madelaine may be the best actor in the entire show. She can chew scenery like some of Hollywood's best but she also has great versatility and depth. She really sold the scene at Julian's bedside, both her despair and subsequent joy when he woke up. Completely believable, imo. Best thing about the episode, which I'm just now realizing? No Toni Topaz! 🀣
  6. Damn, is there really only 6 episodes? That's really disappointing if it's just a Herschel rescue mission... Then again, the mother ship first season was only six and that was pretty fantastic. If they can manage even 80% of what Darabont pulled off I'll be happy. Things I hated: starting the episode by dropping us in the middle of a new narrative without showing us or giving any exposition on how they met the old Jewish lady or how she managed to steal Maggie's bag. I guess it didn't matter since she died without even any explanation of why she was so dear to our new rag tag group of friends.πŸ™„; No apparent subtitles for non English languages. Turning subs on only revealed Hebrew and Croatian. The Hebrew I can kind of let slide because context and body language gave the gist of what she was saying for the most part but two episodes running now, Ivanek has said something in Croatian with zero indication of what he means. Now, chances are, they are just throw away lines meant for humor or something but even so, how about letting everyone in on the joke?!; Mopey, moody teenage Herschel flashback. Makes me think we're going to see him do something stupid that will make me cheer for the croat and whatever he ends up doing to Henry 2.0 I mean Herschel. πŸ˜† Things I liked: Negan 1.0 rearing his smugly old head🀣 Best thing I've seen on ANY walking dead series in at least 3 seasons!; Maggie finally being honest about why they were there instead of trying to be clever with more lies.; Negan and...πŸ€”uh...Negan!😜
  7. It was the first episode, I expect more back story will come...maybe.😏 Overall I thought it was pretty good and I've always been pro Negan as JDM has always made him fun for me to watch so I'll gladly take a few lady balls along with the more nuanced maturity. It's all about balance, lol! A couple thoughts... Maggie must've made hoarding L'Oreal in a box top priority at some point. Seriously, would it kill them to give Lauren a little gray to help denote the passage of time? She only looks about 5 years older than the day she met Glen.πŸ˜† Ivanek cutting the rusty zip line cable like butter made me laugh harder than anything in seven years of Riverdale.🀣🀣🀣🀣
  8. Yeah, I don't care how ridiculous the show got as it went along, I really enjoyed this. It was way better than it had any right to be and I'm really glad they got to finish it.
  9. Of all the non realistic things in this entire series, the most unbelievable is the flashback conversation between kids Ben and Michaela.🀣
  10. Ok, yeah, I'm up to speed now, lol... That's a relief!🀣
  11. Oh, yeah. Also...this☝️🀣 I think it was only actually Georgia to Texas, but still...sure seemed a hell of a lot further, lol!
  12. I think I might have the same TV.🀣 I think I've had a stroke, I have no idea who or what you're talking about 🀣
  13. These writers are running a masterclass on character assassination. None of these people would've ended up back in a group like PADRE for so long, least of all Sherry and Dwight. It's even more ridiculous when you consider the "leader" hides behind a distorted microphone and two way glass, never once showing his face. No one ever questioned that? "Oh, we're not allowed to be together or raise our kids but at least they're safe, der.πŸ₯΄" Fuck off show, none of them would just roll over and figuratively die like thatπŸ™„. That said, I'm enjoying it more than last season's nuclear radiation BS...πŸ€” Maybe it's because no one's talking through gas masks half the time to remind us in case we forgot and I don't have to rewind and turn on subtitles. Anyway, Grace reveals her radiation sickness is back and she hasn't got long to live, probably, shortly before (in)conveniently getting bit while saving Mo from a walker who finally decided to attack after five minutes of conversation 3 feet from where he was playing possum. Must've been one of those smarter than the average dead we met at the end of the mother ship. So, now they have to get her to June and her cure before it's too late except June's cure involves radiation therapy and Grace was exposed to radiation over a decade ago or whatever so maybe it's not too late at all and never was because she had the cure inside her all along and aren't we all going to be one big happy family because it's the final season and there really aren't any stakes left at all.🀣😜 I WAS scared for a moment that they were actually going to have the balls to take out Morgan but I should've known better, lol. Can't see him not making it to the finale...and if he survives that, he'll probably at least guest on one of the spinoffs.
  14. It was there, on her left wrist/forearm...REALLY hard to see but it was there.
  15. Cheryl should've told Toni to go fuck herself after all the manipulative bullshit she's pulled.
  16. I second this, Hedwig and the Angry Inch should be required viewing! That scene was icing on the cake and totally made the episode for me, right up to and including Misty's call to Walter. It wasn't, but everything else could've been terrible and I wouldn't care. Shauna's beating on Lottie wasn't necessarily disturbing to me...well I guess it was but in more of a visceral, enthralling, can't look away from the car crash sort of way. Teen Misty's entire arc this episode was perfectly amazing from conniving to cover her tracks to trying to manipulate coach Ben and finally breaking down as honestly possible in pleading with him not to jump was fantastic. Samantha Hanratty continues to be brilliant, following on from the first I saw her in later season role on shameless. I think she's skilled way beyond her years and deserves whatever accolades may come her way.
  17. I mean...it was better than the last episode, right? πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜†β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜πŸ˜’πŸ«€πŸ˜ž In all honesty, it was the most enjoyable of the season for me, so far. That said, the fact it was a poor man's Legends knockoff just pisses me off more that the showrunner said they weren't going to have the time for a proper Legends wrapup, yet was able to make time for both a two part Batwoman tie-in AND a Dreamer followup that no one needed or wanted either of.😑 I'm going to stick it out because I'm far too invested at this point but my god they aren't making it easy. If this was season two or three I'd be out.
  18. Wouldn't that be considered coercion or confessing under duress and therefore also be inadmissible? It's been awhile since I studied anything law related myself... In any event, I would think body or not, simply admitting to an affair wouldn't be grounds enough to be charged with the murder.
  19. Just finished it, I thought it was great that Adam finally gave Bev a taste of her own medicine. Not sure why, but I thought this season was a bit of a step up from the last few. Maybe it was knowing it was the last. Speaking of, not sure why people are complaining about not writing a series finale; it was announced ahead of the start, I watched the whole season knowing it was the last. As series finales go it WAS fairly meh but as far as sitcoms go I'd say it was pretty average and considering how far the show has fallen, about what should've been expected. It was clearly written to be the finale and with all the apparent troubles they had over the last few years, I could see where maybe they didn't want to make a greater celebration of it. That said, can see where bits of it did feel "tacked on".
  20. Loved Jeff blasting Fuck Tha Police outside the station, my favorite moment from the episode!🀣 I personally prefer the adult timeline; maybe it's because they've all been separated and dealing with their own issues but it's felt like much more is going on compared to the past where they mostly seem to hang around the cabin waiting for stuff to happen. Understandable being that it's winter and they're essentially snowed in, but still... With all the debate over supernatural vs psychological, I'm surprised no one has mentioned the overhead shot of Lottie's compound appearing to be laid out in the shape of The Symbol. I won't weigh in one way or the other, I'm basically just enjoying the ride but...that has to mean something, right?!🀣 That said, the slow burn is starting to go cold, hopefully the rumors are true the next three really pick it up.
  21. Her pause after the word execute was just enough to make me think the same thing!🀣🀣🀣🀣
  22. I mean, yeah, when you can drive an hour or so north out of North Van, straight up the mountain...we're not too far off, let's be honest.🀣
  23. I laughed so hard at that scene after last week's discussion.🀣 I thought "no way!" Then I remembered, oh yeah, she has visions, lol. Misty and Frodo systematically checking their separate rooms in equal fashion was a nice touch. Loved Natalie going off on Lisa's mom, even though I initially thought she might side with her and say she'd been kidnapped into the cult herself. The slow burn continues.
  24. It still had its moments where I laughed out loud but I'm ready for the crazy to really ramp up again.
