  1. This seems to be happening a lot these days. Writers forget that a character is the vessel through which the audience experiences the story. We grow attached to them.... and their foibles. The plot is secondary almost always.
  2. I was flipping channels and just caught the end with the meal at Camille's beach house. It made a nice change from bickering about something that happened years ago. They weren't bogged down by tons of makeup or squeezed like sausages into silly outfits. It was actually pleasant. It's nice to know they can enjoy each other's company. I hope Erika is missing next season. I don't enjoy her at all. I think she covers her own insecurities with this nasty bitchy outer shell. Who would want to be her friend? She brings nothing to a friendship.
  3. If they'd got the green light, it was going to be a completely different show surely? The main cast all knowing the truth would change everything. It could have been interesting (or not).
  4. You could see right away the woman had problems. She shouldn't be in charge of a goldfish let alone two young children and now a pitbull. @Toaster Strudel should be writing for sitcoms. You are talented.
  5. They must be pretty whacked by the time JIB comes around. Plus missing home and family. Jensen seems able to cope, but it takes its toll on Jared I think. Maybe next year when the kids are a bit older the whole family can come.
  6. Many times he's not actually saying anything. He starts on a sentence but doesn't finish it. Either the teleprompter is slow or he's losing track of his thoughts. He used to make good points at one time and actually tried to help. But he's winging it now I think and relying on the shock & awe of an issue that turns out to be nothing in the end. I think the last time I actually got invested was the weird woman who wanted to leave hubby and 4 kids and go live in Kenya with 22 yr old boyfriend. She was so weird. The episode really didn't go the way Phil or the rest of the audience thought it would. But most of the time it's predictable and format. I wonder if she went? Time to retire and enjoy life, Phil. Robin could even start eating again.
  7. Yes, and you get to see the beautiful city of Roma at the same time. Jensen's panel was absolutely wonderful. No Jared interrupting and fooling about. And my sincere gratitude to the audience for such fine questions. I wish I could've been there.
  8. It's obvious Jared was having a hard time and Jensen, Rob and Rich came on stage to support him. JIB seems difficult for Jared for some reason. Jensen's solo was great. Some good questions and he gives such interesting answers. He did say something about all the various stages a script goes through once it leaves the writer's hands. Maybe we shouldn't always blame the writers - although I think the Duo have final say and that's why their scripts are often childish and nonsense. I'm biased in every way - but how does Jensen look so good? They've got to be sleep deprived. I'm sure they party and drink - when in Rome and all that, and he's 40! Just a few sexy eye crinkles that's about it. Sometimes I think Supernatural's all real and he's made a deal with a crossroads demon. LOL
  9. But do we really want a Lucifer who's hysterical? We're running out of actual dangerous menacing baddies on this show. Even the psychopath is redeemed.
  10. I hope so. He was sitting alone and mopey and sorting out his feelings. If he has a bone to pick with anyone it would be Sam and that could get interesting considering his (uncontrollable) powers. He'd just started to get to know Dad. Now he's gone (thanks Sam!). But the Cinnamon Jack version has endeared itself to fans, so they may not want to turn him malevolent now. And these writers never make an attempt at writing conversations that should be had between characters.
  11. JJ seems incredibly irritated lately. More so than usual. I wonder if she's getting serious about retiring? From the video angle it looked like the little boy rode his bike into a stopped car. Maybe he couldn't stop, but I don't see how it was the driver's fault. However the mother didn't look like she had two pennies to rub together and so relieved she didn't have to pay (the production pays the fine, tho, don't they?). So maybe the decision was for the best. It's really irritating when JJ asks a question and then shushes them before they can answer.
  12. There's a lot of upset over Lucifer being cancelled. It's a perfect example of writers destroying an interesting and different show - it was the same with Sleepy Hollow. I probably wouldn't have watched, but I was hoping they'd given WS a chance. I wonder if KN dropped out and they thought it wouldn't carry without her? I actually think it could've worked for the CW and been something a bit different. And Sam and Dean could've made cameos even after Supernatural ended.
  13. There could be a residue of Demon Dean or MOC Dean still there. I'm finding all this speculation quite exciting.
  14. Next week Deadpool opens and I'll be out of the country. Ratings should be good tho...
  15. Oh well.... no need to bother with them then, I guess. :( What an awful woman - and Mother's Day on Sunday too!!!
  16. Gosh. This episode will be a goldmine for the gag reel. Misha and his mouth had me literally rolling on the sofa laughing out loud and Felicia decked out in lip gloss and false eyelashes for the 'torture & Nazi' scene. It was hilarious. I'm sure two of them had a hard time keeping a straight face. The AU reminds me of a little show from days of yore - Under the Dome. A town of about 2,000 residents are trapped yet every episode we only see the same 15-20 townsfolk. Reminded me of Mary and her merry band of 25 (duh!) people to be saved. LOL! 25 people who were WAY MORE important than her own sons and her own world's problems? And really? ~ Michael the archangel relies on sky bombs? Can't he just snap his fingers and people explode? His bombs kill no one. People meandering along , standing about when the rift could zip shut any second. Today's horror films rely on characters doing stupid things to enhance the suspense. Unfortunately Supernatural is now borrowing from these films. Instead of a slow burn to tension like the old days. It's all so stupid when it could be so great. The AU was a brilliant notion - what a waste! Angels with guns dressed like SWAT, I don't think the bunker and it's treasures are the answer to the AU refugees problems. The answer Sam and his laptop. All the answers are usually found there. And once this merry band of 25 get their hands on cell phones and iPads and join social media - they'll never want to go back to bombs and no shower facilities. Please can Mary and Lucifer DIE in the finale??? And they found a pretty good actor with Alex, but then they have him mooning about . Sam and Dean were background pretty much. I did like Ketch. I hope Ketch stays around. Redeeming a psychopath is usually not good., but in this case I'll give them a pass. Fingers crossed for next week!!! Dean is stepping up.
  17. I wish we'd seen more of Michael this season. He's always seemed forgettable before. I don't know why he's been ignored all this time when it's actually all about him. And the actor is easy on the eye. They missed an opportunity I think. Lucifer is as annoying as ever and I burst out laughing at AU Castiel. Crikey!!!?
  18. Nowadays a great scene like that would be interrupted by Luci fiddling with his grace. It's interesting that Jared would say Sam would never have lived with Amelia - has he ever admitted Sam would never have not looked for Dean?
  19. The Mother has become another in a long line of TV Mary Sues. She's the bestest at everything except being a damn Mother! I wish Amara had gifted Dean socks and underwear.
  20. Well, at least Sam and Dean won't have to fork out for flowers or chocolates on Mother's Day. She can hardly be called their "Mother" anyway. She can't bear to be around them most of the time. Hate is a strong word - but I truly hate this character. Thanks Andrew :( - On another note, I love how Jensen is always in Dean mode, checking around all the time, Dean never relaxes, always on guard.
