There needs to be more complaints about the Host. Staring wide eyed at the camera and saying What Just Happened ! - she did the exact same thing last season. Maybe David should host next time? He could wear a tuxedo for the full penguin impact. After all he seems to know all the other couples' business and obviously is way better than any of them judging by the superior smirk. The TLC money obviously means more to Danielle than her own self respect.

I hope he's going to change up the format of his show for the new season. Somehow people with horrendous issues are made to be boring and it's all so predictable.

S10.E16: Guess Who's Arguing at Dinner?
Pondlass1 replied to OnceSane's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
I agree. She doesn't listen to anything anyone says. Her brain is far too busy whirling around. I don't know why Carole keeps wanting to sit down and talk - maybe the show's producer says they must do this and sets it up. But Bethany needs a Valium or some sort of medication to calm her when she gets like this. There's no talking to her. It must be hard on her central nervous system to be in this anguished aggitated state all the time. -
S10.E16: Guess Who's Arguing at Dinner?

They're going to need a larger camera crew for this bickering bunch when they go out to eat and drink. The cameras were focused on the never ending circle of an argument at one end of the table - when world war three was starting at the other. -
Supernatural Bitterness & Unpopular Opinions: You All Suck
Pondlass1 replied to mstaken's topic in Supernatural
It was a nice relaxing change to have Jensen solo for interviews pre-SDCC. No interruptions or joking about. Jensen rarely gets to finish a thought if he's on the sofa with Jared because Jared just blurts out whatever pops into his head. I personally don't think for one second that Jared cares that the story isn't about him this time. He doesn't strike me as that kind of a guy. He has anxiety issues (apparently) and they surfaced around his birthday time. He likely was very supportive of Jensen going it alone. And as a fan of Jensen, it worked out fine for me. I've been away all weekend and just catching up with SDCC vids. -
Watching the very enjoyable Berlin video a few times prompted me to watch Jus in Bello - haven't seen it for a long time. This was a time when demons were scary and not 3-piece suits with a stick up their ass. The suspense builds, it all makes sense, Sam and Dean save the day and are officially FBI documented as dead. And I learned that Jus in Bello means Justice in War or Laws of War. Didn't know that. I'm assuming Jared will be on the panel today?
-
He's been fairly outspoken about Demon Dean being cut short, but the marionette dance criticism was full blast. No hiding his anger there. And he now seems to have a certain degree of clout. He's chuffed that Dean/Michael story will be given time to evolve. Go Jensen....
-
It's hard to think straight with Jensen sitting 2 feet away. A lot of hair flicking and outfit adjusting. lol
-
Oh dear. I'd forgotten all about Heaven and it's utility issues. Maybe if they used LED lightbulbs...? I really hope Michael doesn't spend any time up there. It's the most boring and cheap-looking scenario. I'm hoping Michael stays on Earth. Learns about Earth (well the USA version only - I doubt Kim Jong-un will feature) and maybe begins a course to take control - with Dean fighting him at every turn.
-
I doubt she watches regularly.

I know. It's a trope that's been done to death. I guess I didn't realize the AU world enjoyed all mod con's before the apocalypse. I really don't get what's so attractive about apocalypses (apocali?) or why gods and angels or whoever are so keen to start them?? But looking forward to more than a fleeting appearance of Michael/Dean. And Jensen seems enthusiastic. And I'm positive there will be no more dangling marionette exchanges.
-
I really don't know what they're going to have Michael do? He's learning about our world, feeling his way. But I don't want - this is a cell phone, ooh traffic lights, or anything like that. I just wish I had faith in TPTB. I'm looking forward with excited anticipation and dread.
-
I think he also intimated Mean might be kinda mean - which I'm looking forward to. Jensen playing evil... Yum
-
I used to want to be obscenely rich... and thin. Not so much now. Seems like it just makes you miserable and argumentative... and uncaring too. I'm sure they could all hear Ramona banging and screaming in that lift.
-
This seems to be the consensus. Dean is charismatic for sure and I'll miss him too. Ohhhh - but I just long for something different. For Jensen to have a chance to flex his acting muscles. Even when we have Dean, he's not respected by this motley crew in charge anyway. The marionette fight for instance. I still cannot believe Jensen voiced his feelings out loud at the convention even going to the point of acting it out with Rob. Bravo, Jensen! The cheers from the crowd were music to my ears.
-
Isn't it - before Michael is out of Dean? Michael's getting to strut around in that great body, lucky bastard. Wonder if he's checked out those biceps? Maybe we should hold a contest? How long before.... (in minutes probably as I don't have much hope either and everyone and their dog on twitter is whining 'when will Sam save Dean?'

That scene at the other house when Serena yelled and told Fred a few home truths - I thought she knew what kind of a man he was. But obviously not. Why on earth would she think he would go along with her idea - especially with the board of directors(?) looking on? Did she not see the dark furious look on his face? Does she really think he gives a fig about her notions? She has zero standing here. She's just a wife who can wear teal. She's lucky she just lost the pinky finger - she humiliated him. It could have been a lot worse.
-
This is more irritating to me than anything else. I guess it's supposed to build suspense, but sometimes all I can think of is that weird old film where the crazy actress says "I'm ready for my close up now". Close ups of June's reactions take up way too much time.
-
I would not want to get on the wrong side of Anfisa. She has a temper. Jorge doesn't know what he's messing with. And she's not particularly empathetic it seems. If that child is Jorge's then he should pay child support and be part of her life and Anfisa should encourage that - not yell at him. Anfisa is an intelligent girl. She had a hard life, I think. But she's a survivor. She doesn't need mouth breathing Jorge or even this show. I don't think she needs anyone. She'll be buying her own designer handbags in no time.

These Spoilers Suck: Bitter Speculation About SPN Spoilers
Pondlass1 replied to catrox14's topic in Supernatural
I don't know how busy Christian is - but, yes, episodes could be devoted to their inner struggle. And also, of course, we could witness the outer struggles as Michael must concentrate hard to keep Dean at bay. Dean is a domineering and strong personality and he's pissed that he's trapped. He's going to be a problem for Michael. It all could be good TV, glimpses of Michael, glimpses of Dean. But... -
I know right? So it should provide more leeway for writers as it's not our Dean that will be sullied. Someone mentioned Angel/Angelus scenario. Angelus was truly evil in the beginning, even feeding from babies, but as years past and the series became established and then Angelus reappeared -- well, he was beyond wimpy to say the least so's not to upset the boat with Angel fans. I think the same will happen with Dean/Michael. Fans are already being annoying - clamouring for 'Sam to Save Dean'. It's these fans that make the most noise, have TPTB's ear (or so it seems) and zero imagination - they want status quo and everything tied up with pink bows. I'm keeping fingers crossed writers give Jensen a shot.

S13.E01: The Next Chapter
Pondlass1 replied to Taralightner's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
That ropes course looked genuinely scary. But I had to smile at the smirk on the face of the owner guy while they were all screeching and squealing like banshees. I don't know what's going on with false eyelashes on 'reality' shows these days. I'm hoping for a false eyelash free zone this season. Last season poor Tamra couldn't even hold her eyes open. It's a fad that should die.
