That kind of proves my point. That we can have such different concepts means we are looking at something that can be seen in a number of ways.
-
Or Jams Gunn’s point, apparently. I simply mean that the DC characters are often much meatier and multifaceted characters. The simplest answers are not always the best answers. You could write many theses on what drives Batman. The punisher is kind of a violent caricature of grief. Etc. maybe you either see it or you don’t

If I remember correctly the movie “a cry in the dark”, Meryl Streep, about Lindy Chamberlain (imprisoned when a dingo took her baby, later acquitted) implied that the general outcry was against her because she didn’t appear emotional enough.

I feel if it was Howard there would be some other clues, but I could ve convinced that he knew/knows something he is not telling.
-
I think Howard is nosey, basically. I wonder how Hammy is doing.

Wow. All the flavors of loneliness. I’m still not completely convinced Angela/Emily/Parwana would have picked that hill to die on. Metaphorically speaking. But ok, loneliness, maybe.

I didn’t feel the other characters were more sympathetic or interesting. Jumping off the boat was an expression of desperation, sure, but not stupid. She was not able to accept heaven. -

I wonder if they planned on centering around Galadriel in the first season, when systemic sexism put them off, and are switching gears. Having Galadriel and Adar against Sauron still seemed like a good choice, with the rest showing up in the background. They need a pov character. -
Also Wanda is generally terrifying and scary. People wanted a powerful female lead, but she is really too dangerous to keep around.
-
Which proves my point. Marvel characters are not really morally complex. Conflicted, sometimes. Do bad for good, sure. Morally complex, no.

I liked the fight between Galadriel and Sauron, it seemed hard and realistic. Bit of a contrast between that fight snd the stylized Kata the elves exhibited last week. I am sorry to lose Adar. ( maybe Sadly) I think, since he has not yet appeared, it could have been interesting if he had been Celeborn. The Uruk don’t end well, in any case, but it would have been a chance to learn more about them. I assume we will get some scenes of them being beaten down, but not the same. ‘Grand-elf’ was cringey, but it is kind of nice they named him. I was happy with the Harfoot/Stranger story as a separate story but I think it was unnecessary. I assume they wanted the familiarity for rhe casual viewer? Balrog too. Numenor is undeveloped. They needed to pick a lane. i wonder what someone who is unspoiled, (‘unsullied’ ) would think of this. I mean unspoiled except for maybe the peter jackson movies, without any need to bicker about the details of the fall of Numenor and where Eregion is and so on. -
Yes. It seemed almost as if he was retiring then, giving the SBs his cameras.

Punishment is not, even today in our world, known to be an effective way to make people be better it usually stems more from the bitterness and anger of the person meting out the punishment it is more of a ‘sauron’ thing. The elves also live a long time and have to put up with long term consequences of holding long term resentments, which is again sauron territory. As far as Galadriel goes, she was demoted and clearly understood the larger consequences of her actions, which may include sheltering and healing the refugeees of eregion, rather than being part of the battle. Although at the end Gil-Galad reinstates her rank. -
I think DC characters are just better characters, generally speaking. You want them to be seen at their best.

In the ‘vents.’ Hidden walkways that give access to apartments. And she poisoned him with deadly intent. He did not personally chain her to a bus seat with a ticket to Florida taped to her forehead. I’d be freaked out.
-
Thanks. Ok. It is possible Sazz was ghosting Jan, too. Relationship getting difficult. We have maybe movie people setting up a chaotic possibly fake murder but gun loaded because chaotic, left tinsel, piglet sets off gun, Sazz probably killed. charles should be more freaked out by Jan and tell detective where she is hiding. i honestly think we don’t have a clear winner at this point.
-
I don’t think we have a real time frame. Dudenoff may have been dead three years and always had the same code on his door. He probably played oh hell with the Westies. (I can dig it, I haven’t played in years, but it can be a fun game.) the westies have reason to cover up his death because of rent control, which apparently extends to all four units. If they therefore incinerated him they would not necessarily have been able to distinguish between poison by Jan and natural causes. So either way. As to when Jan escaped, how long were they in LA? Not too long . If Jan were able to cover her tracks by leaving a trail of bassoon reeds in one or two directions she might buy herself time to get back to the Arconia. She may get help from Sazz who then learns she still has a grudge against Charles? i think the movie stuff is narrative chaos i think it is possible hammy set off the rifle but hitting Sazz would be a huge coincidence. Hitting anyone would be a huge coincidence. why was there a loaded gun in Paradise?
-
I actually think Jan murdered Sazz, as is her wont, and is hanging around to finish off Charles (in the building). or alternatively that the actual murder hasn’t happened yet. But I think Jan. what a mess.
-
Yes. I think the word I was looking for was ‘genderfluid’.

I missed that they got the information this episode. I din’t know how I missed that. But it could be his dead stuntman brother’s shoulder replacement as well
-
Unless it is possible the whole Dudenoff thing is something the BS made up with their school pals, the Westies. Dudenoff may be made up or alive. The replacement shoulder may not be Dudenoff’s. the BS messed with the narrative of the real show? And the movie stuff is all a red herring?
-
All of the Westies may not have known Dudenoff but Richard Kind’s character did, for quite some time, and the sister Brothers. (I liked the carrion eaters in the lunchroom, by the way. Just thought I’d say that). He seemed to take charge when talking to Mabel about the apartment as well. Also the Christmas guy studied under him. The Westies are invested in him being alive and are more likely to have covered up his death than to have killed him. it is odd Dudenoff has nothing much personal in his apartment. Considering everyone knew the lock—long time—it probably was a crashpad for a bunch of people. my guess is that Jan put the old cameras in when she escaped and so could have caught the Sazz incident. But the BS could be dragging red herrings to create confusion, maybe in the hope of pleasing dudenoff.

Neo and Trinity together were a transgender One. They were strongest when they manifested both sides of their nature. i liked it. I remember vaguely that Fish urne was not asked to return, but I could be wrong.
