  1. Maybe Sazz was going to take the dudenoff apt and the teen sauce girl killed her in anger.
  2. I remembered the supporting cast would come back for some episodes, but not be regulars. I also remember Sam’s actor noped out, so I was pleasantly surprised to see him. The ptb have said they will ‘honor the arrowverse’. I’m not really invested in any of it, besides this show, but I think there is enough going on without the other characters. i like Jordan. I also suspect he is a lot more like Clark than people maybe think. Square peg, round hole. He is a teen, it is his job to screw up…..and he is also a lot like Lous, right? Rash at times, self righteous, etc. He is punishing Mom. The boys can be a future source of supply he can use against her.
  3. I loved Bev insulting Loretta’s acting (considering, as they say, Streep is the greatest actor of her generation) but it mught be possible that Bev or/and Zach are threatening Loretta’s job. And people have mentioned the burn victim trope, if it is a thing. She certainlly could do it in disguise.
  4. I don’t think anyone gets points for suspecting so and so or so and so because I think there are a lot of red herrings being laid. We can be fairly sure it isn’t our podcasting trio and that is it. i feel it is like a six degrees thing where, for example, the Hollywood crowd are connected through Dudenoff and Sazz, the stunt peole are connected through Sazz, and it is generally a very complex way to get everyone together. I suspect Sazz is the ‘Kevin Bacon’ of the group. Hence, many hams , right?( And prosciutto goes well with melon. Or is that too much?) Howard is the building busybody. He has lost 7 cats and won’t get more at the shelter. If there were more episodes I would wonder if he would steal bodega cat. Seriously does he hate cats or does someone else hate cats? I really think he could be involved in something, but not necessarily murder.
  5. Hey, milton is a real Braniac.
  6. I’m worried now that Loretta is ‘Helga’. She constantly took classes, she probably knew Dudenoff.
  7. Christmas guy was in a Tom Hanks movie! But it does make sense for Vince to keep it. Vince was inviting Mabel into the group, he seems to be the leader. It wouldn't get called much.
  8. They all left the same number.
  9. I didn’t mean out of the sun, apparently he stores power. But there is a time limit, and we saw this on the bizarro world. Also the heart may not be storing the energy and would lose strength when removed from the system. i wonder if doomsday’s heart would work for him?
  10. That would be nice, but if it was depowered (away from sunlight, out of body) would it still be invulnerable.?
  11. I would think something Black Noirish would work. Or gray. As a training wheels sort of suit.. something that can disappear into shadows. Not like Clark’s suit. I feel for Jordan in all this. I give them credit for making Lex the real monster. I don’t think it is too brutal for the show. I think it is perfect.
  12. Just when it was getting interesting.
  13. Okay. Everyone is a better detective than our three guys, except maybe the actual detective. And hammy seems sleuth free. What will our people do for the next season? Go, Howard. Did Uma poison Winnie?
  14. I could have gotten behind Galadriel and Adar/Celeborn, but apparently it was not to be.
  15. I’m afrid I found Alan so cringy I bailed. I will try to go back and watch the ending.
  16. Oddly I would think David might babysit and do an okay job of it.
  17. Yes, well. Batman’s defining moment was losing his parents in that alley. He runs from it around the world and learns to be string enough to fight. So from the beginning he is defi ed by his trauma. But when you are writing a story using that character you have a lot to go on and you can go shallow or deep. He can be a pretty interesting character.
  18. A lot of it is that things are baked into the characters. Batman’s complex PTSD. Anger, sleep disturbances, disregulated emotions, suicidally high levels of risk taking, isolation, avoidant attachment. His extreme fluency in cultures and languages, has to have those. Much other stuff. There is a lot that just has to be there, no matter how simple you want him to be.
  19. Nope. And she pays no rent, which frees up some theoretical childcare funds. Who watches the baby when she is at the bar?
  20. To which your cat replies :”You’re no fun..” and tries to lure mice into the kitchen.
  21. I did a search last season and that is typical of Afghani skin. Unless they have learned who she is and have been ‘racing’ with our guys to get to her specifically. It is also not impossible that there was a mole in Hamzad’s group. With our luck it will turn out Abby slept with the Russian and she is his daughter. can’t have too many fathers.
  22. Well, Superman has a healthy attachment style. He values family. He has firm boundaries, and respects the boundaries of others. He is nort using x ray vision to peep through clothing. He saves people. Bridges collapsing, etc. on the other hand he personally is the reason a lot of villains attack and do a lot of damage. His family is often endangered. He is living a lie with people he respects. He could gather wealth and create foundations that would solve many of humanity’s problems, but he chooses not to, in part (probably) because it would disrupt his private life. (Mind you I’m not saying he solve the problems for us, which would weaken us. I’m saying facilitating). Abd of course, if he ever decides to steal or kill, easy for him to do that. He juggles this daily. Not to mention the trolley problem, which crisis do I avert this time. Do I save the plane full of doctors or the refugee camp full of kids? But these decisions all the time. so that creates a morally complex character.
  23. Perhaps the assumption is that technology would not develop as fast. Either the existence of the gods reduces or distracts or actively discourages it? Maybe prometheus being bound is the cause.
  24. You can hardly blame ‘his dark materials’….but maybe it is a company or guy that really likes it.
  25. Yeah. I haven’t watched it yet. Thanks.
