This trafficking stuff freaks me the F out. I am far from a celeb. I have only friends and family on my SM and as a mom it has me scared as hell. All these kids are too old for this. You think the pedos don’t know where they go to school? Not that hard to figure out.

Strangers and pedos are following them. If Chelsea was so much above the rest she would quit. So to that point she is at the same level as the others. Money > kids. She also lives in a somewhat “small” town. It’s not doing Aubree any favors to be in the public image and have Adam’s business on TV. Those kids at her school certainly talk. Cole is great, but Adam is her dad and the whole town knows it. I also don’t think Watson is that cute. There I said it. And I hate his name. So maybe that’s why I don’t adore him. Sorry not sorry.

She’s gonna wish that $315k she put into the house back real quick when the checks stop coming. She’s not at the level of an all cash buyer, you don’t deplete your entire liquid asset portfolio to buy a house. Yah she won’t have a mortgage payment, but she is still liable for the property taxes. I guess she could always sell and recoup, then move into one of Gary’s rent houses.

@druzy thanks for the leg work! Just like you I am shocked she had that much cash to buy that house. I guess in a sense she is a bit more frugal than the others in the fact that until Baby Huey came along she wasn’t taking endless exotic vacations, her clothing isn’t anything fancy either, I don’t see her sporting high end designer labels. The decor of her house appears to be on the cheap end, even when her and old Matt went and bought out that furniture store. “Yah we’ll take it all!” She leases her vehicles, I believe. So maybe she has been able to stash away a pile of cash?

Jenelle has 5 kids between her and David to support. I’d like to know how that’s going to go after TM checks go away. She’s burned through her money about as fast as Ambers. Plus she will have to split all her assets with David once they break up. Amber is screwed for sure, but I think out of all of them Jenelle will be the worst off with all those mouths to feed. @druzy as always thanks for the research. Unreal that she opted to throw down cash on that house. Did it list the acquisition amount sales price on the county records? Now she is liable for paying her property taxes. These debts and liens are just going to keep piling up and compounding.

I thought she had purchased her rental she occupies. I have not had the time or energy to look up the county records to confirm that. If she did in fact buy out the previous owner, she certainly had to pay cash. It’s funny you mention this because when I was watching the most recent episode I realized I don’t think any of them have been shown to use a cell phone. I may be wrong on that, but if they do exist in Riverdale they are not glued to them like most teens. The prison definitely has the 1950’s vibe that the hospital and court room had. Mad Dog had pictures of pin up girls on his wall. Also in the bunker, Jughead used a traditional camera for the photos he took, and then him and Betty developed them in a darkroom. I do love that aspect of this show, it’s almost like a game to me to pick out the retro stuff.

If she is going to war for 100% custody for whatever reason (I honestly don’t know the fine print details) then yes, she better be at every single fucking meeting, event, fundraiser, etc. For what reason would a parent ever miss a parent teacher conference? They are once a year and are accommodated for us working folks, as they are after business hours. I’m guessing Brynn’s school would even offer to do them on FaceTime if needed for those fancy parents. She is a multi millionaire, there is no reason for her not to be super involved in Brynn’s school. If it is a private school is it most likely required. And why wouldn’t she want to do as much as she can for her daughter? She can save the world from hurricanes, she can certainly provide her resources and connections to her own daughter’s school. Becuse yes, being a part of the PTA, fundraising, volunteering and events at the school are part of the JOY of having a kid. To me, at least. I love every part of it. I cherish it. These are the glory days and our schools are amazing. I will do anything and everything I can to be involved with our school district. I’ve never felt shamed for not being able to attend something, but then again I attend all the things. Why not??? As for Ramona, she seemed to be a very involved parent in Avery’s education all the way through college.

This may be better placed in small talk, but in reference to the current convo, my dream was to be married and have kids. I found my guy, he was killed in a car accident 2 months befor our wedding (after 5 years of dating and 1 full year of engagement, marriage prep classes completed all that). Went on to a relationship with a complete sociopath unbeknownst to me until 5 years later, I was left broke and broken, got wrapped up in bad decisions, ended up serving jail time for DUMB ASS stuff. Picked me self up, resumed my job, moved 3 states away all on my own. Got established in my new place, 5 years later I’m facing 40 and still no prospects in the dating pool. But hey I still wanted to be a mom, so there are other ways about that. Needless to say, I started fostering and adopted my son after 2 years of placement on 9/19/18. Everyone has their own path and sometimes the harder you have to work at it the more you appreciate it. I’m sure Chelsea is content and she should be. I just don’t get why she is lauded as some great person when she is as vanilla as they come, living in a simple town, posing in her lumberjack gear. Yay. She got a certificate in a VERY fluid occupation. If you are not keeping up and practicing, you are behind. Are you really gonna call someone to do your wedding make up that hasn’t done make up in years and has no look book? Nope. It was a hobby for her for a hot minute.
