  1. For reals. Were the Sarcana "good", "evil" or somewhere in between? They never took any action that I recall and now they're all dead so it hardly matters.
  2. So they're replacing the Black woman with a White woman and a Black man. How predictable -- I can smell the misogynoir from here. I'm out.
  3. They could do the end of "The Final Problem" and the start of "The Adventure of the Empty House"...
  4. Most of the hammer bo, like ts don't seem to have much power in the hammer. Even when Ragnorak hit, War Hawk was like "Did you feel that breeze?" With today's tough top rmor, you've got to hit hard or pierce like Quantum does. Shatter's "fight" with Wan Hoo shows what a hammer/axe can do if it has enough power. It will be interesting to see what it does next.
  5. Are we sure that the experts and imposters don't get any money? I think for each vote an imposter gets, both the expert and that imposter should get some reward.
  6. I hope he doesn't turn into another Billings -- he can't pull off "the guy we love to hate" as well. There were some great fights in the Desperado, and then there was Ragnorak! That's one pitiful bot!
  7. IIRC, Major took the cure and was re-zombified. So, they'll have to get everyone at once through some stealth method, and keep a lookout for those like Enzo, or they'll have pretty much the same problem in a very short amount of time.
  8. This is far too common. Every once in a while, one of the celebrities will ask a good question, but far too often, they seem too uninformed to do so. Just for example, I would have asked the "Road-Kill Cookoff Champ" "what's the deal with armadillos?" (answer: they're not used as rod-kill since they can pass on Hansen's Disease). [As it was, I was able to toss the guy who said people could eat snake in its skin. Um, no.] Or the fencing guy "What's a 'Heidleberg scar'?" (It's a saber cut on the cheek that became a badge of honor among German men around the time of WW1.
  9. That's possibly a Good Thing. There's an episode of Black Mirror that deals with bullying and it does not end well....
  10. The thing as that she's grown ... as has Liv. The Liv of Season 1 wouldn't and couldn't be Renegade. They need to write for the Peyton of now, not the Peyton of 5 years ago. Would everyone go back though? Unless they snuck the cure into the air or something, I'm sure there would be a few who wanted to remain zombies (such as the people with incurable diseases). For that matter, Liv has a pretty cool job as long as she's a zombie, with easy access to brains. If Major doesn't take the cure (for whatever reason), why would Liv?
  11. I think they finally lost me with this episode. They LOVE Blaine so damn much that they had to turn Peyton into a sniveling coward (and let their "pet" kill someone else) to move the plot forward. That one scene sickened me. Considering that most of the finale will be the zombie-human war that I've been fast-forwarding through, and that whatever they have planned for Blaine can't be anywhere near enough, I'm not sure I'll even bother with the crapfest this show has turned into.
  12. I loved the Broken Earth trilogy -- so cool. A lot of the effects might be expensive though. BTW, did anyone else get a chuckle out of the character with the darkest-skin was named "Alabaster"?
  13. Terminal Velocity (reached in 15 seconds) = 195 km/h , 122 mph, or 54 m/s. No more for me. I've banned it from my DVR.
  14. It''s funny that they would have an "actress" who's never been in anything and a "math nerd" who's a real actor!
  15. This quote, especially the last part, kind of sums up the finale of this season, doesn't it????
  16. You missed Splendor in the Glass on Bravo and Sharin' Glass on Lifetime??? No wonder they had such bad ratings. LOLOLOL
  17. That was so poorly done. I for one am glad this show is limping towards its conclusion.
  18. It's renewed for Season 5, but not beyond, by decision of the showrunners and NetFlix. And it's followed by a "ceremony of blood and pain"! Probably Maze's best line this season.
  19. No word on renewal or cancellation yet.
  20. Thereby continuing the pattern of Women of Color on All-Access, White women on the network.
  21. Maybe because they are totally different words???? I really don't care for Kelly "I have no discernible talent but I'm famous because my mom used my dad and us kids to rake in a few bucks" Osbourne, but she was mostly OK. He was good this time. He got 17 out of 21 both times IIRC, which is not bad, and was decent in the Winner's Circle. In the second round, the contestant lost the $50,000 due to a somewhat understandable error, not because of Moynihan.
  22. I don't know about this time, but I watched my wife get hypnotized on a stage show and it is definitely not fake. Mama Doris (who I love) knew she was saying "Bingo!" but didn't know why -- it made sense for her try to want to make it seem normal.
  23. I immediately went to "Loud and Clear" -- it helped that Faith on Buffy the Vampire Slayer kept saying "5 by 5", meaning that what she heard was 5 out of 5 in loudness and 5 out of 5 in clarity. I didn't think of "Free and Clear" until it was said.
  24. Goes back at least as far as the man who loved is mother not wisely but far too well.
