  1. Even when they were trying to kill each other in the first episode???? I think this is interesting in light of comments from the first season of how weak Karrueche Tran was, especially compared to the rest of the cast. I think she's really grown as an actress.
  2. So much good in this comment, but I'm just going to respond to these two. 1) Brooklyn 9-9 isn't a "procedural" but they bypassed the "will they/won't they" by having the romantic couple solidly (and fabulously) in love by the second season. This show should be the "anti-Moonlighting" of how to write a romantic pairing. 2) It could be both: Watson is The Most Important Person, while Moriarty remains The Woman -- the only one Sherlock has romantic feelings for. I would imagine the New York Post (if not the New York Times) would have a headline about a "Famous Detective's Headstone Vandalized". And both papers are fairly easily available in most countries.
  3. That's my thought too. As to why he didn't ask anyone else, remember that Nova is the Shining Star to him (he takes her name literally). Even after her ****ing all over her family, he still thinks she's the hero in the story.
  4. In one of the early episodes, Gloria says that Claire thought she was a "coal digger".
  5. I've found the videos of painter Bob Ross (with his "happy trees") far more relaxing than any of the ASMR whispering.
  6. And H50 films in Hawaii anyway so never mind. I'll show myself out.
  7. The cast is dark enough to tick the "diversity" boxes, and to make the Stupid Puppies [*} sad (which is a good thing) without scaring off the audience with a Black man (gasp!) or, "worse", a Black woman (the HORROR!!!). I watched a bit last night while getting dinner (so without sound) and what I saw didn't grab me so I doubt I'll make time for this.
  8. There's no reason for them to do so. At worst, they have to wear a "Dummy Crown" for a minute. It was better when Anderson put up the false Twitter -- that gave at least some stakes.
  9. Some awesome fights this week. Son of Wyatchi tearing up the Texas Twister, SubZero flipping P1 all over the BattleBox (and finally flipping it and its mini-bot OUT of the BattleBox!), and the knock-down between Whiplash (which deserves some credit for getting out from behind the screws TWICE!) and Witch Doctor, which has morphed from a "cutesy" bot to a major contender.
  10. I believe that the CW shoots at the CBS studios, so she won't need to commute to get between shows.
  11. This assumes that they're interested in making an "informed choice". In the Kitty Carlisle days (and, thanks, Weird Al, for that reminder!), they really did try to ask good questions, but in this version, the celebrities are more interested in goofing around.
  12. Not all the characters have "boyfriend drama"; Nomi has "girlfriend drama". It won't air until the new season starts. I think it will be on Wednesdays late in 2019 or early 2020,, but check the Futon Critic page.
  13. Zoe Robinson is of Nigerian descent, according to one site, but she looks fairly light to me. No surprise that she's considerably lighter than Marcus Rutherford.
  14. To be fair, they are DARN cute! But $3600 for a dog??? Woof!
  15. I heard an interview with Lars Ulrich where he was asked if Metallica "sold out" and he said "every show, every seat, every arena", which I liked. But then he became a huge hypocrite by attacking Napster and other early music-sharing apps, when Metallica got its start by encouraging fans to bootleg their concerts.
  16. Jennie was bad in the first round, but bounced back and was good in the other 5. One of the male contestants was rocking back and forth like crazy. It was very distracting. I said "chameleon" (which is indeed, the clue) and "mood rings". "Stripper's legs" and "hooker's legs" for "Thing That Spread" were a bit risque (but funny!) for this show! Too bad they didn't help!
  17. Yes, it was for getting all 5 right, and none of them did (I think the best was 3 of 5). He did say something like "and now we're engaged!" Not introducing the first pair of impostors was weird!
  18. I like Jason, too (Boo for cancelling Kevin (Probably) Saves The World!), so that's a major plus.
  19. My new band's name is "Exploding Rats and Melting People"! I looked at iMDB and it is indeed Intruders.
  20. He kind of did, when he teased her about her would-be girlfriend, the one who was tone-deaf but thought she could make it big by singing. That was cute, too. Yeah, exactly. This wasn't as bad as many I've seen, but "aba" is a damn low standard.
  21. That's why they get along so well -- they're both "Me first". This sentence is a thing of beauty!
  22. A special from Las Vegas: Witch Doctor vs Tombstone Don't sleep on this -- it's GREAT!
