Exactly. I know a lot of folks like this. One couple I know, the wife made pretty good money but decided she wanted to be a stay at home mom. Her husband makes really good money and was totally fine with that. Their kids go to an expensive private school. They have a bunch of activities. The family regularly travels. They spend a lot on just about everything. Her husband just said they'd need a smaller home and to cut back a little. She was all boo hoo because she wanted to live in this really big house. Her lifestyle was still going to be good.

There are people who support families on $50,000. Whoopi's been so rich for so long that $500,000 isn't much to her. Even in the most expensive cities in the US, that is A LOT of money.

I think more Whoopi Goldberg and no Megamouth is a great trade!

We all talk about how Erika doesn't come across very sexual. I wonder if she was when she was with him. Cause, what a waste!

I didn't want to judge Erika for leaving her son, but if Tom really does have dementia, it sounds like she has a pattern of leaving people when they need her the most. In case anyone's curious. This is Erika's first husband, Thomas Zizzo. All the men in her life are named Tom.

Yes, say what you want about the Kardashians, but they're known to be nice people by almost everyone in Hollywood. I think that's part of why they became so famous for being famous. Kathy Griffin made a ton of jokes about them, and she said they were all still so nice to her. Kris just asked, can you please stop making fun now? lol Yes, if Faye means well and has a sweet side to her, she's not showing it. Exactly! Even going back to seasons 1 and 2, you can see kindness in Camille. I think she tries to be gentle if she sees someone is struggling. I remember she almost talked to Kim like she was a little girl. It was the sweetest "hi Kim!" lol I also think Camille plays it up for the cameras. I hated what she said about LVP a couple seasons ago, but I think she was drunk and trying to be funny. I think unless someone's wronged her, she really doesn't want to hurt anyone. Season 1 Camille was fun to hate. She said a lot of things that would make you roll your eyes, but she never seemed evil or mean girl imo. A little inappropriate or full of herself, but who isn't at times? Maybe it's how bad some of the rest of these ladies (Erika in particular) have been, that Camille at her worst doesn't even seem all that bad.

They probably seem like unlikely friends at first glance, but I think they have good hearts and good judgment in common.

Camille was so damn shady! lol I think if reality TV and social media were around back then, Faye would have become more famous. I don't think she had the likability to become a huge star, but more famous yes. I love that Camille kept doing her signature shrugs all these years later!

😀 The video of Garcelle and Sutton dancing is too cute. I love that these two became friends. I can't think of another duo I enjoy as much. A lot of the time even if I enjoy watching a friendship on a Housewife show, I really prefer one friend over the other. In this case, both ladies are cool!

lol I don't get it, but my own mom is the same way. She's just a little older than Rinna and isn't crazy about most food that she didn't grow up with.

One of my friends had a childhood much like Erika’s (absent father, a young mother who could be very tough). She’s one of the most gentle, kind people I know. You can only cut so much slack even if she is a hurting person. My guess is Erika’s gotten away with a lot because she used her past to explain her hard, icy personality. There are a lot of really good women who probably felt bad Erika lacked women friends and wanted to prove to her there are lots of kind women. They’re not all like schoolyard bullies or her mother. There is also the halo effect of a pretty woman. If Erika were 200 lbs and ugly, I feel like everyone would see her for the nasty bully she is. No man would think dealing with such a cruel personality would be worth it. I used to really like Dorit, but she’s been annoying the heck out of me this season. She cuts Erika so much slack-oh poor Erika Tom cheated on her (is cheating really shocking in all this?!), poor Erika not looking after herself (seriously? Lol), but she calls Garcelle a bully, says she lacks guts and is the least authentic. Garcelle is one of the most authentic people there (says what she thinks, her money is her money, beauty she was born with, a real accent lol). That said, I think she’s more of a doofus/poor judge of character than she is cruel. She’s probably much kinder than Erika, Rinna, Kyle, and Crystal.

I know a lot of men who will find completely ordinary looking women "smoking hot" if they simply have blonde hair, a slim waist and big boobs. As much as I don't like her as a person, Erika has all that and a gorgeous face to go with it. I do agree that she doesn't come across as a very sexual/sensual person though. She comes across as the type of chick who trades on her sexual appeal and considers sex her wifely duty in exchange for a man to support her. I think if she loved sex, there's no way she'd be with a man THAT much older than her.

I was like this in middle school. I was a nerdy little ugly duckling. I remember having a bit of a crush on this older boy and wanting so badly to be pretty like the girls he dated. I might as well have been invisible. I had a high school glow up, wore contacts instead of glasses, started wearing makeup, and he began hitting on me all the time. I instantly lost interest. I guess I figured he was cute but not too special otherwise. I've never been that way as an adult. I like guys who like me. I'm turned off by neediness and pushiness, but a wishy-washy fuck boy like Big? No thanks.

It is! The bit I saw, despite the fact it mocks Housewives, I forget how awful Rinna is and love her again. She does have a great talent for entertaining imo.

Thank you for sharing, that is terrible. I remember Adrienne from Top Model. I thought she was beautiful. I thought Camille was fairly tall, but look at Mason! She must be around 5'10". She grew up to be quite lovely.

100%. I remember initially being concerned for Erika in the group. I figured Kyle would be jealous of her. Vanderpump poked at her (nothing to ever warrant Erika's strong dislike though). Believe it or nor, Rinna initially expressed being shocked by her risqué videos, which never made sense since she did Playboy twice. I thought oh boy, the older husband, her mini skirts, her music videos, it's all her business. Hope these women don't clutch their pearls. But she turned out to be the type who almost begs for people to say something negative about her. I tried watching Vanderpump Rules, and I think Lala Kent had some of that in her. LVP said you can't be procative all the time then turn around and play the baby girl.

Not surprised Erika would enjoy Harry's sauce. She is a fan of his meat.

^ You must be the one I heard about Behind the Velvet Rope from! Thank you, the interviews with Kathryn are really interesting. I kind of wish she were on this season, so there would have been less coddling of Erika. It's all been on Sutton and Garcelle. Kathryn is sweet, but she calls out bs. I think she's a formidable opponent who was let go too soon.

Let's keep our fingers crossed! I've been loving The View. Hopefully The Talk goes better this season too.

Yolanda might call them "Hollywood friends." Kyle does seem to genuinely consider her a dear friend though. What's crazy about Allison is a lot of people who are in pain and vulnerable go to her for her abilities as a psychic/medium. Would anyone feel comfortable going to her after seeing that infamous episode? What did she say on MySpace? I wouldn't put anything past her. She makes Faye look warm and sweet.
