  1. I hate them all too and I don't think the divorce one even makes sense. Short of Oliver actually trying to kill Mia or Felicity (which would never happen) I can't see Felicity cutting Oliver out of their daughter's life or Oliver letting it happen. And since they apparently never left SC, I don't think it would explain the team not recognizing Mia.
  2. I don't disagree but if he is dead, why did William tell Roy that Oliver and Felicity both left him? And if he dies in the crossover Mia should be born by then so William should know about her unless his grandparents secretly cut off contact (which I do think is possible, Grandpa's facial expressions looked shady to me during the goodbye scene.) Totally with you on being okay if they render the FF pointless by changing it. At this point, they're sucky (in a the future sucks way) and largely nonsensical, I feel like just pointless would be an improvement.
  3. Am the only one who would be absolutely convinced right now Dig was going to die if it wasn't for the fact they haven't gotten the stupid tattoo yet? Something about an episode titled Spartan makes me nervous.
  4. If they suddenly revealed Ray's hair was a sentient being sent to spy on the Legends, I'd accept it, no questions asked
  5. I actually think it's possibly both and was in Suicide Squad's case too. DC/WB has them push the property to sort of promote the movie but once the movie actually materializes they pull permission to use the characters/name. I doubt they'll actually lose the characters this time around though. Although I wouldn't exactly be heartbroken if I'm wrong.
  6. I can actually sort of understand that it would be kind of frustrating to be on a show with such a passionate fandom and your reception is at best mostly crickets but tweets like that are not going to help especially when others have received actual threats.
  7. Yes or least when the actor appeared on the Star City 2046 episode of LoT he was John Diggle Jr going by Connor Hawke but since JJ was still Baby Sara back then it's all pretty confusing. ETA: Or maybe not since the WB press release calls him Diggle's adopted son. They couldn't make this more confusing if they tried.
  8. I'm worried about that too. Unless the next episode kicks off immediately after the last scene, I feel like it's likely to be offscreen. He was in the room and even with stress of William leaving, I can't see him not immediately asking her what was up.
  9. I really loved this. I feel like I probably should have spent less time agreeing with the murderous psycho but dude had a point.
  10. At this point, I'm pretty sure I'm going to find this a very apt phrase for the FF regardless of who Mia is or isn't.
  11. I do think that's what they were going for but I wish they'd been a little clearer. Of course, now I'm imagining Felicity actually trying to explain and I'm having a hard time seeing William not either thinking she's gone crazy or being angrier because he thinks she's making stuff up (or possibly because they didn't bring him home when his Dad was The Flash) so I'm not sure what I really wanted. Maybe a line in a previous episode about Elseworlds having screwed up their plans to see William would have worked.
  12. Everything about them leaving him at school for Christmas annoys me. It doesn't make any sense, in Unmasked they were clearly looking forward to him coming home for break and nothing happened that should have changed that. I'm a little iffy on the grandparents since William and Samantha would presumably have been missing for more than a year between Taken and Lian Yu and they apparently didn't report it but I'd have much rather they went with him visiting them than Oliver and Felicity abandoning the child they'd both been missing for months alone at boarding school for no apparent reason.
  13. I don't know, it seems like it would be a weird choice but currently the FF's make the entire show seem fairly pointless so either way I don't really get it. If I was in charge, I'd rather render a season or so of occasional FF's pointless then risk ruining any rewatchability by making everything the characters have ever done or fought for pointless but I don't know if Beth feels the same way.
  14. I sort of feel like when William told Oliver he was okay with him being GA because even if something happened he'd still have Felicity, Oliver's mind somehow translated it to "Feel free to mostly peace out on parenting now, Felicity's got this." I fully believe Oliver loves William but he mostly seems to leave the heavy lifting to Felicity. And to a certain degree, it makes sense, whatever else you can say about Donna Smoak, she was clearly a good parent for the most part whereas the elder Queens have been dead for years and we're still discovering new ways in which they failed their children but Oliver eventually has to step up or he looks like a terrible person/parent.
  15. Curtis' line about being a team "even if it was for the last time" coupled with him apparently not being part of the stupid tattoo and Echo having had unCurtis-like facial hair for a while strikes me as fairly ominous and I'm not actually sure how I'd feel about it. While I really liked Curtis in Season 4 and early season 5, eventually everytime Curtis opened his mouth my mind translated it to "please, punch me in the face," so I'm mostly okay with it but at the same time he appears to be the only Team Arrow-adjacent person at ARGUS to have retained their sanity where Diaz/The Ghost Initiative is concerned so losing him could be very bad in terms of not releasing the annoying, mumbly, murdery nutbar.
  16. Rewatching, I'm confused, are Rory and Helena dead? And if they are, why didn't anybody seem to care? The situation with Helena was complicated but Rory was their friend (well, Felicity, Oliver, Curtis and Rene's anyway.) Shouldn't his apparent murder bother them? Less important but still bugging me, why has Felicity's stupid pearl-studded sweater survived for at least 3 years but Oliver's entire wardrobe has apparently been replaced with that of a middle-aged professor? I think he's still mostly fine with Felicity/people Oliver should actually care about and honestly, if I was stuck with Dinah that often, that would be my expression too.
  17. OTA got the scene where Dig disappeared completely/stood around awkwardly while Olicity reunited post-prison, surely that's enough screentime in 12 episodes for the team the show was built on, right?
  18. Right?! It's not even that I don't believe Future Felicity wanted to blow up SC anymore (I still don't believe it but...) it's that I don't care if she did. SC is a shithole full of jackasses who rewarded every sacrifice she and her family made by turning on them and making themselves the victims while congratulating themselves for having each other's backs, why shouldn't she want to destroy it? When you're trying to save your city and the only person besides your spouse consistently in your corner is a mass-murdering psycho who tried to kill you repeatedly, your city sucks. But for some reason, the show seems convinced if they just keep telling us that NTA rocks and is super loyal, we'll believe it rather than the more than a year's worth of petulant jackassery.
  19. Me too, the only way I can even be a little bit okay with it is if I pretend he was trying to protect her identity since the babbling is very much a Felicity trait that others might recognize instead of another example of John Diggle: Condescending Jackass Edition.
  20. Parts of this episode worked for me and parts really didn't. I liked getting real Diggle back but hate that to get him back we basically have to pretend that nothing Diggle did from Brothers in Arms on happened. I could even accept that if it weren't for the "secret plan that could lead to the release of the guy who's been trying to kill his best friends and their son for months" thing. How did Oliver and Felicity not know William was expelled? Wouldn't the school have called them? I do love that William set up a fake school website though. Too bad for him it wasn't Oliver who checked the site, he'd have probably been fooled. If Mayor Pollard joins the long list of dead SC mayors, I won't be devastated. And I guess the crew got in to interview Diaz in the week or so before ARGUS took him. Needed way more of Felicity and way less Dinah/NTA. Stop celebrating the show's success by ignoring the characters/relationships that got you there!
  21. "Had each other's backs" clearly has a very different meaning to John Diggle than it does to me.
  22. I just took it as a call-back/joke to the start of their 'friendship' because Felicity originally went to her and asked what would happen if someone hypothetically kidnapped The Silencer. Maybe sort of an acknowledgement that neither would go to the other with an actually hypothetical situation. Definitely not a comment on whether Laurel does things "in theory."
  23. I'd say I want some of whatever's he's smoking but I'm actually pretty sure I don't. I mean, there's believing a couple is better even if I don't agree and then there's just straight up imagining/making up shit.
  24. Blowing up the boat was all Malcolm, I don't think Moira even knew about it at first. She just had it salvaged and stored.
  25. It does. I'm hoping if she is it's because Emiko completes her mission and leaves town and not because she dies. I don't even care about Emiko per se, I just don't want to see Oliver lose another family member (or the guilt spiral if she dies while emulating him/because someone is out to hurt him.) Either way, it would make Emiko seem kind of pointless.
