  1. Green leather is clearly a way better disguise than we'd think. Height, race, build, gender don't matter, it's clearly Oliver Queen (or not if it's someone trying to clear Oliver.) Wouldn't the fact Emiko was wearing the hood (I hope or it's even stupider than I thought) indicate it probably wasn't Oliver, whose identity they already know? I really think Star City is just too damned stupid to be saved. Everyone on the team should wear GA suits at all times, everyone would be too confused by the multiple Olivers to try to stop them.
  2. Can someone tell Oliver/hallucination Tommy that the definition of insanity is repeatedly doing the same thing and expecting different results? You tried reaching Emiko and all you got was murdery, misguided revengy, crazypants betrayal, STOP TRYING! She's a terrorist who wants to destroy you, the time for playing nice is over. It was over long before you even knew she existed.
  3. Please tell me I imagined Emily/Felicity not even being in the promo for her final episode. I don't think I even saw her in the group shots.
  4. Emiko is a psychopath, Tommy! Shut up!
  5. So the chances that Alena isn't the mysterious person running Archer in the FF are like 1000000 to 1, right?
  6. Felicity, honey, I love you but on a list of people who should know about your unborn baby, your husband's psycho half-sister who desperately wants to make him suffer falls pretty much dead last.
  7. I don't really see the need for him but I like snarky hallucination Tommy (minus the forgive Emiko shit, that's stupid)
  8. Especially since she pretty much admittedd it would work but it was impractical because of the volume of brains needed vs the number available. I'm going to be really surprised if this doesn't bite them in the ass later.
  9. I don't think the problem with the girls coming in was they weren't welcome but that the US government wouldn't let them in because it doesn't really want anyone coming or going and they didn't have IDs so an already risky operation was harder.
  10. Emiko has to be closer to Oliver's age than Thea's because she was shown as an adult with a viable business plan before the Gambit while Thea would have been about 12 or 13 (she turns 18 in season 1) and Oliver was 22. Up until that, I also assumed she was around Thea's age or at least closer in age to her.
  11. I completely disagree with this. I'd still be throwing things at my TV if OTA had risked everything again for Dinah and Rene's ungrateful, hypocritical, disloyal, self-righteous asses whereas for Roy at least I sort of cared. Roy is family while I'm pretty sure Rene's looking for the next bus he can throw someone under and Dinah's thinking up new ways to act superior.
  12. I don't think you're missing anything, Emiko's vendetta against Oliver just makes zero sense. She doesn't even seem to falsely believe he knew about her which would at least give her some motive. It would make much more sense if she were after Thea who got the benefits of being Robert's child while not actually being so. It would still be fucking nuts since it's not Thea's fault either but I could at least sort of see where her anger is coming from. This incredibly childish/insane vendetta against a largely innocent party makes it hard to believe she could ever have taken control of the Ninth Circle. I mean, Malcolm's psychotic vendetta against The Glades looks like a rational thought process compared to Emiko's against Oliver and that's not good.
  13. The fact I even sort of care about this annoys me but did the lotus elixir cure the 'must kill or the original wound will kill you' part of the bloodlust and just leave the murdery, ragemonster part? Because if didn't, how was Roy still alive on Lian Yu? He seemed to have been there awhile and Thea was near death about five months after her last kill (and that's with the Damien Darhk temp cure.) Was he on Lian Yu because that place attracts psychos like moths to a flame and he just picked them off? Or are we supposed to forget that element of the bloodlust?
  14. I could almost understand if she'd launched her revenge plan while he was mayor. It still wouldn't have actually worked because his life still had documented suckage and he hasn't done anything to her but who looks at her half-brother in supermax prison and forcibly separated from his wife and child and thinks "his life is too perfect, I must have my revenge?" And how the hell was destroying his legacy by wearing his suit to do questionable while he was in prison supposed to work anyway? It's insane.
  15. They couldn't have found a less hate inducing way to reveal Roy's blood lust? The fact it was an act doesn't make Dinah retroactively less obnoxious. How is this how you choose to spend one of your last 13 episodes? It was 50 kinds of annoying for a questionable payoff.
  16. This may be the most depressing thing I've ever read. How can this shitshow only be half over?
  17. Forget Black Siren, didn't Dinah's precious Vinnie murder a shit ton of people? Not to mention her own revenge murder spree. How can she be this self-righteous?
  18. When smug dickhead is the default setting, it's hard.
  19. Felicity, Oliver and Diggle are officially the only people in Star City I can stand. Also, fuck off, Dinah!
  20. Well there already is so probably.
  21. Even supposing Dinah's doing it for show or she comes around, why the fuck would anyone on Team Arrow, let alone Oliver, get a loyalty/heroism tattoo with this bitch? The tattoo was always dumb af but now...no, just no. What the actual fuck are they going for with Dinah? Because right now Diaz is pretty much the only character ever on the show I like less and he at least has the bonus of being dead and therefore no longer regularly pissing me off whereas Dinah runs around being self-righteous and annoying in two timelines.
  22. Chimpanzee being protected by little known superhero Penishead, totally what I'd choose to get permanently etched on my body. I still wouldn't want it as a tattoo but the inspiration is pretty good, how did it go so wrong?
  23. This is large part of why I lean into S8 being mostly Oliver honoring whatever deal he made with The Monitor, I just don't see how else they can sell Oliver abandoning his family. Oliver leaving his young child to continue trying to save a city that turns on him if he blinks the wrong way isn't appealing (at this point, him leaving a cool rock he found to protect SC wouldn't be appealing, the city sucks that bad) or in character. Right now, Oliver is trying to save Star City for Mia, that doesn't really work or mean much if he abandons her to do it.
  24. I could almost understand the "Felicity leaves to do her own thing" theory if Star City 2040 didn't exist but it does. Unless Felicity's idea of a legacy is raising a child in hiding (to the point no one but Dig and Nyssa know about Mia's existence) without her husband and other child while seemingly running her company remotely, it's pretty clear that her absence from SC and especially Oliver isn't voluntary.
  25. The fact they never even touched on this was strange, especially since it would have paralelled the JJ/Connor situation very well. You can't really give Stewart credit for turning Dig into a hero while completely ignoring that the other son turned out as anything but. One of his stepsons ended up deciding nuking the entire world was a viable plan he was willing to torture his brother to help carry out, I'm not sure Dig's heroism turns that into a parenting win.
