This was a very awkward party in every imaginable way. Have to ask how a hairdresser in Charleston is able to afford an event planner and a private island. So on a hot July day you go to a beach with no shade but so windy that your hair and fancy dresses are all blowing; you can’t throw a football. You wear a white dress that is sure to have a brown hem by the end of the day. All the bitchy ladies stand around gossiping about one person ( yeah, I know Katherine) and Madison collects compliments and is as bitchy as hell to Austen. Austen pouts like a preteen but why go to a party to which you were uninvited?Did he think he was going to win her back by being a dick?

Whitney is an asshole but Buddy really sucks. Thank heavens Heather is out of the picture because she deserves so much better. I don’t know what horrible thing that Brittney did other than commenting that it was strange that he was waiting on Whitney hand & foot, but to make her sound like a nagging crone that he couldn’t wait to dump was very unfair. How this filthy dirty, lazy,unemployed, substance abuser gets so many women is beyond me. But he’s right, at 37 he should be more mature about dating & not hop into a relationship ( bed) with everyone he meets. Meanwhile, Whitney you dumped all your friends AND Buddy &left town so you could be with the “Bros” so get off your high horse.

I have to say, all these franchises are feeling stale and generic. I think I must be over the Housewives because this is the third one that I have no interest in whatsoever. And though I never actually liked a lot of them, without the OG’s most of these show feel particularly lifeless.

When these couples are “ courting” be it by internet or on an extended vacation,are they so busy with the sweet nothings that they never inquire about what their loved one looks for as a place to live; what kind of activities ( besides sex & eating out) do they enjoy, what kind of work they do, even though it may be crass, how much money they actually make, do they live alone or with others, do they live in a city or a rural area. They always seem so shocked and disappointed with their new circumstances. Why would you leave your country family, friends without asking even those basic questions?

Watched this again & loved it again.

Every time I look at Whitney’s father I am surprised that anyone would go to him to have their hair done, drunk or sober. His dye job and cut are horrible , neither flattering nor subtle. She was smart to bring her husband with her ( and a camera crew) so that she could shoot him down without him sneakily trying to manipulate her. I’m so appalled that a father would literally ask to be “ paid back”” for doing what he’s supposed to do. He really hasn’t learned much in recovery - he’s still a “ dry drunk”.

No one else felt the need to remove their bathing suits so I don’t know why Twit did. I don’t understand why all of her friends are so obnoxious to Ryan - he seems perfectly fine with them until they start getting bitchy ( and Tal, what is YOUR problem with him?) if anyone should be resentful of him it should be Todd. She abandoned their dance classes to move to Charlotte & on the show HE was the sarcastic voice of reason before Ryan came along.. I have to give poor Brittney props for putting up with all the crap that Twit put her through. She can be very hateful when she is jealous but she doesn’t remember how bitchy she was with Buddy when he & Chase were in the same room. Whenever Twit is jealous or uncomfortable she starts talking a mile a minute. What is this shit about the only disposable person in the business was Ryan.?All she gave him was the name ( and the TV exposure) but she does nothing physical herself, and she frequently holds him back. Do I think he took advantage of her platform? Absolutely, but if any money was earned in the business it was because of his hard work. He gave her 2 seasons worth of story lines & a love interest. How many times could we be watching Whit & her friends laying around her living room & eating? By the way, what is this Whitney pep squad? She does nothing to earn all this devotion in my estimation and I appreciate that Ryan doesn’t take any “BS” ( pun intended) from her.

I love Rob but I’m not sure if this is him authentically or if it’s a just a reality show persona ( see how cynical we’ve become?).if this is really him he has no game but that’s always attractive, if you’ve had bad relationships. If this is just a part he’s playing, then I’m going to be disappointed. I feel for both Francesca AND Elizabeth. I feel Elizabeth’s frustration because she feels like she is working as hard as she can ( and maybe this is the best she can do) and Francesca can’t seem to communicate what she wants effectively. I’m not sure why Eddie is still so pissed at Rachel ( though she is a realllllly obnoxious drunk) she came back and did a marvelous job - we’ve seen more obnoxiousness from other chef’s without the ability to perform the way she did. I like James ( though I wouldn’t want my daughters near him). He is who he is but he gets the job done. And where is little Ash?

I didn’t watch this season so I’m only going by the Reunion but I have to say Giselle has had better looks. That long, straight hair did her no favors and the yellow dress made her look sallow. I don’t know any more now about this fight between Monica and Candiance but if it’s been over a year & no one was injured why is this still such a hot button issue. Candiace should take that fine looking man home and just enjoy him! Ashley seems too sweet to be married to that wizened old player with the drinking and fidelity problem & she needs to divorce him & get lots of child support.

Honestly,if Jovi doesn’t start saying no to Yara now,he’ll be another Russ of Pao& Russ.

Well, Meredith and Lisa are also bitches - Mary & Jen can take a backseat. Why is Meredith trying to rid herself of a perfectly good husband and father? Talk to your friendHeather about how easy it is to find someone decent when you’re a “woman of a certain age”. Lisa may also be losing her husband if she doesn’t start giving him back little more attention that isn’t related to their business.

Leah, as a former preteen ( many, many decades ago), I can tell you that giving a speech during a sibling blowup is wasted energy. I feel for you, because you are on camera and feel as if you have to address it, but they aren’t paying any attention to you and are cursing you out in their minds. I felt for Chelsea & Cole while Watson was having his meltdown because he’s no dummy and probably realizes that he’s on camera so he’s got them by the short hairs. I appreciate that she is more concerned about her children than about this very lucrative gig ( in fact, do either she or Cole have jobs?). Can’t say the same for Kailyn who allows a crying baby to continue because she caused drama with her ex and his girlfriend. She did not appear to be paying a bit of attention to him she was so focused on her own situation.

Whitney is so self absorbed that she never noticed that Buddy was AWOL for long enough to have developed a relationship? (reallly,Buddy, you’ve known her a WEEK?) . She, by the way, allowed an old boyfriend into her BED after renewing the contract with Buddy so I doubt she has any room to complain. In fact, she was loving Buddy’s remarks and perceive$ jealousy. I think Buddy was preparing Whit for the announcement by doing that. He knows how she loves being perceived as the object of everyone’s desires.

Love Dua Lipa but was she lip synching? I thought that wasn’t allowed on SNL or hav3 they changed since Ashley Simpson days.

Well, this show is very illuminating. Never knew that hand sanitizer could “ get you lit”.

I finally watched the entire series and I found it exceptional. The coverage of the response to the AIDS virus was astounding. When watched from our current vantage point, he seems incredibly insensitive and definitely uninformed. He now sounds incredibly stupid about so many things. The fact that his own family was assisted by the New Deal which he began to dismantle seems hypocritical at best. I found Ron Reagan Jr. to be an extremely impartial narrator and seemed to be able to put his parents in perspective without idealizing them.

Jen from the “RHoSLC” is too much (not in a good way). Please remove her from my TV.

Pringle would not be a catch in any way, shape or form. As a parent he’s no more than another kid. Are he and is ex really that friendly in real life? She must have been thrilled to get him out of her house. I believe we saw more of Michael tonight than any one and that’s because he’s the most appealing male on the show. Shep showed his true colors to Taylor and basically his apology was just mildly mimicking what his therapist said and he still didn’t actually appear to think he had done anything wrong. None of these guys are half as attractive or charming as they think they are. Why doesn’t Patricia hang around with people her own age or level of sophistication? Austen is right - she’s bored but these guys don’t seem that interesting.

No suspense there & I wonder how all those other teams wh cheered for them so heartily felt when they saw all the snarky comments W&J were making about them.

Haven’t been with this franchise since the very beginning - was there ever a racer who was as bitter as DeAngelo? Poor Gary.

“Happiness Season” had a great cast (Daniel Levy, Kristen Stewart, Mary Steenbergen,Victor Garber,Aubrey Plaza) and a kind of interesting plot, though it seemed a bit dated to me, and yet it still seemed corny and full of goofy holes. I guess I’m not used to watching holiday films other than the oldies. Anyone else see it and have thoughts?

Oh no, not Natalie again! I can’t stand her. Mike looked a little shaken that she got her visa. Now he has to make a decision in 20 days. Once she’s over here he’ll never get rid of her.
