Honestly I’m much older than these ladies but when did women start spending so much time ogling each other, making out, twerking in each other’s faces and writhing all over the living room floor with their legs askew. Also, I’ve heard of having a male stripper but I didn’t realize it was quite that exploitive, exposing his penis, being mauled by the women and ultimately having some kind of sexual relations with them. Is that some kind of a package you order? ( pun intended).

This show leaves me with so many unanswered questions. My first question is, is there really a provision for retired military to have adult children ( actual or “adopted” ) to be receiving military benefits? It seems that would be rather pricey for the government and if it’s that easy to scam the government than I suggest there should be an investigation because that seems rather wasteful. I wish this show wasn’t highlighting Lizzie and her boobs. She is totally without redeeming qualities and has not finished living a life of crime. Why are they paying hernand giving her fame? They are only encouraging her and her younger counterparts Lyndsey and Desiree to act up as soon as they are released. Of course, I’m watching this so I’m as much to blame as the network.

Watching this I felt complete empathy for Captain Lee. Coming to this season after the very public loss of his son. He immediately falls and fractures a rib. Kate isn’t back so he is working with a chief Stew who he doesn’t know and who is way to insecure in her own skills & relies on him too much (I don’t think he’s had to do this much handling of personnel issues before.) He has to deal with Drunken Dolores and her possibly fatal night time dive off the side of the boat. He almost had a “mustard gas” poisoning of his crew. He has a chef who was almost impossibly rude and disrespectful to him ( no matter how she’s trying to reframe this,telling her Captain to “ Eat my cooter” is the very height of insolence & he didn’t deserve that. Thank heaven for Eddie - who has matured and must have been the only bright spot in this horrid season for him.

I’m so disappointed in Rob. In most of his talking heads he seemed like a kind of quirky,lovable guy, with a good sense of humor and a brain in his head. He seemed like he fit in well and learned to be a capable team player immediately. Why he let the cameras see that he was actually a dick was a miscalculation on his part. We haven’t seen him on WWHL so I wonder if he’ll show up for the reunion.

I think that Paige and Chris must have been told by the producers to “ suck it up” and you can get divorced at the end of the experiment and pulled out the iron clad contracts that they signed. Meanwhile, I happen to like Jacob’s dry sense of humor and I appreciate that even though he might not be her style, she is really making an attempt to “ get him” and not sulking and bitching about how she didn’t get the man of her dreams. Meanwhile, I think the couple that willhave the most problems after the lust is gone is Virginia & Erik.He’s very controlling and has a stick up his ass and she’s a free spirit and an alcoholic.

Whitney is setting Ryan up for his fall. Everything she says is poised to make him the villain so she can walk off with “NoBS” and have Jessica do all the work while she cries about how it was Ryan who “done her wrong”. I sure hope he’s got all his paperwork in order cause I see some litigation in his future. How have they muzzled Todd all season? I miss his quips.

Elizabeth should write a book “How to Lose a Guy in a Day” she couldn’t have been less appealing and looked more desperate if she tried. Even if James had initially been into her & MAYBE would have lasted the whole season, this kind of talk would send even the least commitment phobic guy heading for the hills. Talk about cringeworthy -I could barely watch it was so painful.

I didn’t know what to hate more tonight. Madison getting constantly complimented while being the bitchiest woman on the stage ( sorry Katherine,you’ve been usurped); Craig looking like he just crawled out of a homeless shelter after being given a ridiculous red jacket, totally drunk,scraggly beard and messy hair spouting the most vicious remarks against almost everyone;sad eyed Austin once again swearing it’s over when we all know if she just crooked her finger he’d be back- too bad, Austin, now that she’s established herself on the show she’s in to bigger & better things - you served your purpose. Shep seemed to end his redemption tour by insincerely becoming a woke liberal. Leva redeemed herself in my eyes because when everyone finally sht up,she could logically explain her position AND save Katherine’s reputation at the same time. Dani, I like you but youare too sincere and normal for this show. Pringle, you didn’t exactly explain yourself very well - wish you had just broken the fourth wall and say, “I can’t get intoshow business out on the Coast, but there’s a job in my old hometown that I might be able to get.” Otherwise, he just sounds ridiculous. It’s not like he’s even seeing that much of his extended family while in Charleston.

OMG - though I am not a Buddy fan, he absolutely was within his rights to call out Whitney for demanding that he “ get over it” because he was ruining her weekend. After she spent weeks on the couch & bed having him wait on her hand and foot and then manipulated him with her tears to sign a lease in Charlotte.

I think there is only a slim audience ( myself included) that would appreciate the Fran/Scorsese bit, which they devoted some time to. I happened to have seen the doc ( don’t even remember on which streaming service) and they were spot on with the impersonation of Fran & Scorsese did seem as though he was laughing uproariously at EVERYTHING she said. That said,even when Fran Leibovitz was trending,she had a niche group who appreciated her very deadpan humor.

I enjoyed the segment about Henry Waxman and he seems to be an affable guy as well as a productive member of society. Glad to see someone giving him and all the other “policy wonks” who actually keep things running their props. All the charisma in the world won’t keep the lights on, as we’ve sadly discovered in the last 4 years.

Sarah really thinks she’s hot shit now with a husband staying with her and a boyfriend taking her out to eat and I’m so glad that Malcolm isn’t standing for that. I’m going to have no sympathy for her when Michael screws her over again.

Jacob might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I think it’s a little harsh to describe him as ugly and creepy. I think he’s relatively attractive maybe not TV attractive and I think if he’s the nervous type anyway being filmed marrying a complete stranger when he doesn’t really even date very much might be a bit intimidating. I would save my criticisms for people who appear to be not nice humans and I haven’t seen any evidence of that yet.

Oh, MAFS, you did it again. Not one of these couples appear to be very well suited but Chris is the WORST in awhile. A lot of the douchey ones seem ok In the first few weeks and then when they are not as aware of the cameras, you start seeing the real person come out. But right out of the box Chris not only thinks he’s a prize that he’s not but Paige seems like a sweet girl with a lot going for her & he doesn’t feel attracted to her and said so on national television. I’m just betting that this “franchise” that Chris feels makes him the next Rockefeller is a “ Subway”. And from the looks of the previews he doesn’t get any better.

Does Whitney ever pursue a conversation that isn’t all about HER. I realize it’s her show but if you’re trying to make new friends how about showing some interest in them? She could have asked her trainer ( see, I don’t even know her name) to talk about her bad dating experiences or why she has a bad body image, but no,it’s all about Whitney. Then Buddy has to sit through a boring fashion show and photo session while she fishes for compliments.

Madison #1 went from being most popular cast member to the biggest bitch in one season ( she took the crown away from Katherine & then from Shep). I actually think this must have been a plan.After all, the villain always get the most screen time & asserting herself into every altercation will do that for you. If there’s a next season it will be a competition between the two of them for most screen time and most fights. Hope Austen stays away from her.

I think someone must have reminded Whit that there might be some legal issues regarding saying that Ryan could be easily replaced when it’s clear to everyone that the only one who cares OR works on this business is Ryan. If they are actually “business partners” then there must be paperwork and you can’t just blithely say “I’m leaving and taking the business with me” without consequences ( which I believe the only voice of reason in her life,Glenn, was trying to tell her.).

If there’s an Emmy for best intro music for each segment of a reality show tonight’s episode does it - from Brandon & Julia’s sexy rom com music to Yara’s sadly bluesy riff - tonight was perfect!

The only person I can stand on this show any more is Craig ( and in second tier characters, Michael). But Craig isn’t reall interesting enough to carry the show so I hope for a gentle exit for this show.

I think Highlandwarriorgirl might be on to something. Maybe this isn’t even the real Twit but just her playing a part. I’m sure it may have started out as an inspiring show about a heavy girl who was still active and loving life but as we got to know her and dislike her production has decided to push the envelope & make her as lazy & self centered as possible. I can only hope she’s in on the joke.

Ashley’s daughter is so cute. I doubt I could be Whit’s friend because it would be hard for me not to say “ fuck you, girl you didn’t care a bit about us when you thought you were in the cool crowd but now you got dumped by your BF & Ryan actually wants you to earn your keep you are all about your besties in Greensboro. Forget it!” Is Whitney trying to get TLC to pay for another trip to Paris by being on a dating site there? Will the gang all have to fly over to meet the new guy in her life? Fortunately for Ryan he got as much out of this show as he needed. If he stays with her too much longer he will not be considered a legitimate trainer. I loved that he sees through her bull shit - she is so transparent! Masks & Covid indeed. No Dr.ever told her to lie in bed for hours at a time as a cure for panic attacks; Her tenant doesn’t need a new fence; Mom & Dad looked perfectly fine. You thought that Ryan’s crew were going to be your new crew so you didn’t bother trying to make new friends and now your bummed.

It’s been nearly a year since these women started doing this show virtually and they STILL haven’t figured out how not to talk over one another - no one ever completes a thought without being interrupted.
