Agree completely. I will add my thought to this answer as well. I think that Kody thinks all this time that he is the star of the whole show and his true desire is to show people in the audience that men actually have a much harder life within polygamy than the women, but the men do not get attention or sympathy. I think he was shocked that people did not follow him to Vegas to form a community with him and I think he is perplexed that no one followed him to Flagstaff because he said to get everyone to follow...he only needed to find somewhere pretty. He really does sit back in his well worn "man chair" and consider himself to be a great leader when that is the furthest thing from the truth.

The wedding was in Phoenix. Reddit was flooded with all the wedding photos and yes, Meri and Leon were both there. I don't believe in a heart beat that Logan and Michelle would exclude her. We only know them from online but they both seem like good people who love their family and also stay out of all the drama as well.

We really don't know if Janelle would have overwintered on CP. She could only get a 120 day permit to park the trailer there, after that she would have needed to put it on another piece of property with another permit. She chose to store it and get an apartment.

The way Christine explained it was because Truely has talked about having friends who parents have divorced and probably got the whole parents fighting and all the other negative things about "divorce" from a child's perspective. So Christine wants to "break it to her gently". After Christine had to tell Truely because she overheard her say she was excited to move, Christine said she just told Truely that they were already divorced so that Truely would have a closure and not hope that they would get back together or be stressed that they (Kody and Christine) would be fighting in front of her in ways that she had heard from friends. Christine also asked her if she had even noticed that Kody had not been around as much or sleeping over and Truely answered "no". Which pretty much sums it all up.

Most likely when he said the "holidays" it was the time he went up to Janelle's mothers funeral and would have seen the extended family. On the show it had his talking head saying that he was worried about the promise he made Robyn that he would be there for Christmas and he had to get a covid test first. Naturally the only promises that seem to count with Kody are the ones he makes to Robyn. It could be seen in the background when Kody and Janelle were talking. It isn't even buried but just sitting in a "shallow grave" of sorts. It is put right next to the road by all the trees that Kody likes to poke at the bark while filming. It seems like the giant gate is further away from their CP properties, but you have to go through it at some point to get on the access road they are always filming on. I am guessing from reading off and on that the whole area was one big ranch that has been divided into parcels and is kinda like a country gated community. Long ago someone online said that they were driving through and tried to see the property but they couldn't get past the "gate".

Janelle totally needs to buy that place! She already said it was really "peaceful" there, Kody can stop and visit both her and Meri when he drives through AND it already has a hoop house frame ready to garden in !

My husband has traveled for work for 26 years and I have always had low to high level of anxiety about it. Slowly I got used to it (back then I had young children to focus on) and in all that time he has done so safely with only two fender bender type road accidents and a handful of breakdowns. He has met great and not so great people and has avoided any kind of violence, tho he has been in the neighborhood of some scary situations (Downtown Philly during the BLM protests and lockdowns and the white house armed security storming the room he was working in across the street because the new guy "stood by the window too long"). He has developed a kind of sense of his surroundings and knows what neighborhoods to avoid in many many cities all over the country. On the upside he can drive through Philadelphia, Manhattan, Queens and Washington DC without a map and he knows every worthwhile restaurant to eat at in New Orleans and many other cities. After he went back to work after quarantine in 2020 my anxiety was always at high levels with everything I would read online. With all the issues in the US since then he is very good at just touching base with me, but not making it too obvious that he is "letting me know he is okay" but at the same time...doing just that. These last weeks/months of seeing headlines with shootings all over has made his new news easier for me to accept the new transition. He is now taking a trial run for the next 3 months at an in office job. He is hoping to then transition to a work from home version of this job. While the biggest part of me is very relieved for him to end his traveling in the world as it is, the other part is freaking out just a bit. I am very used to living my life my way for the week and then my life a different way on the weekend. 😂 While he is very much romanticizing working from home, his new boss is making it a full trial run in case he really hates it and wants to return to traveling. Wish me luck that we both make it still married on the other side. 🤣

If I remember correctly I think Maddie said that North Carolina doesn't allow home births, that is why she had Evie in a birthing center that is "sorta kinda" more like a home birth experience.

Based on the show's timeline Meri and Robyn were looking for rentals at the same time (based on them talking about it in the episode of the big CP fight). Robyn was in her giant 7 bedroom rental for a year, so late summer 2018 to summer of 2019. Meri did the run around of moving into that first modest house in Flagstaff where the neighbors called the police (about all the cameras most likely...) and then Meri moved back to Vegas before moving into the mega elevator and waterfall house (technically rental #2) Meri moved into this massive house sometime in 2019, around the time that Kody and Robyn were having their cage match over buy/rent/buy/rent. What I find really really funny is that THIS house (Meri's third rental) really looks like it would have been PERFECT for Robyn to move into. It looks like it has lots of extra rooms that could be made into bedrooms, even if they were technically offices or such. And it has so many outbuildings and garages that it probably can hold all of Kody's AND Robyn's massive amount of stuffs. So...if Meri and Robyn were truly besties of all besties and if they were both the biggest cheerleaders of the whole gosh darned fahmaly...WHY didn't Meri pass on this massive house and hand it over to Robyn and Kody? Sure, she needs extra space for the inventory and all of those collections of antique sofas, but I'm sure she could easily make due with a tiny little four bedroom semi-massive rental. Yet it seems as though Meri may still be in this rental...so it would have been perfect for Robyn to rent since she wanted to only move one more time and then build on the property.

I know two people with arthritis that swear that tonic water helps them. One of those people is my husband and he drinks gin and tonics because he loves them and he says he has better mobility the next day. My other friend can drink straight tonic water and skips the alcohol. Maybe a drunken raisin (gin) and tonic 😉

Every single creature in the world wants to kill or eat your chickens. And Maddies dogs are retrievers, which see chickens as something to catch or catch and kill on a good day. And then you have to keep them safe from each other, if kept in too stressful of an environment they will turn on each other. I loved my 16/17 years of chicken keeping, but I decided to give them up because of the constant stress of keeping them safe, even with plenty of roaming property. And I was tired of them destroying my gardens, so I chose my gardens over the entertainment and plethora of fresh eggs.

I have always been fascinated how they talked about the property in the beginning as one big rectangle of 14 acres when in reality it is 4 parcels side by side. Yes...all four parcels have Kodys name on them and then some of the wives on each. I honestly don't remember the breakdown of the names or where it was posted on here. So I screen capped what they showed on the show... This is the original graphic that they showed on the show back when it was all arguing about Meri in the trees, no...out of the trees, by the pond etc etc. They made it seem like the one property was going to be divided into four equal rectangles. Then... Magickally they started using a google earth image to show the property instead of a graphic, but it is now flipped around, so you have to look at the road and mountain view the other way. THIS is what they showed when Kody decided he was "taking the pond piece". However, once again this line up goes against what the actual and real property boundaries are. When they used this graphic, the break down was Lot5 to Robyn, L4 to Janelle and her greenhouses, L3 to Christine, L2 to Meri and Kody with the poo pond and oddly, very little available space to build anything. Then... Now we finally get to REALITY!! THIS graphic is finally the actual real life boundaries of the parcels. If memory serves, the two large ones were paid cash for, and the two small ones were financed. So. The hold up has always been the fact that they can not play around with the REAL boundaries because they don't own all the properties full and clear. So since 2018 it has all just been a big story line and all that arguing over something that can't be changed until they scrape their pennies to pay the damn properties off. However, with Christine leaving these original properties are actually perfect for them. Lots 3&4 go to Robyn, those need paid off, so they are the last to build on, she already has her massive house anyway. Lot2 goes to Janelle where she now says she wants a lean to with a really good toilet and maybe a bunk to lay down in when she is in town. and Lot 1 to Meri where she can sit there and change her mind 100 times about near the pond, in the trees, no trees, close to the road, or just keep sitting under the one tree with the picnic table under it thinking about it.

Meri re-wrote that history long ago. We are all supposed to believe that anything that looked like she was leaving was just her pretending because she was so scared. I often wonder if they agreed to keep the catfish on the downlow once they moved to Flagstaff because it used to be right there in your face and now they seem to skirt around it.

Season 2, Episode 10 and 11 are the leaving Utah to Vegas episodes. They had arranged for a 30 day large vacation rental house for them to land in and then began scrambling to find rental houses in Vegas from there. ...just as a side note. People online theorize that it is possible Robyn became pregnant with Solomon when they were staying in this rental house with the whole family.

General random thoughts.... Christine has worked very hard to keep her composure for these conversations and it shows. I don't think Janelle realized what the potential loss of Christine was until she spit out..."so. no more Christmases" Because the family only really gets together (even pre-Covid) for birthdays and Christmas. And even in the audience we can tell that the heart of family celebrations came from Christine. Meri is angry, which is interesting. I wonder if she made promises to her mother to stick it out no matter what and she is pissed that Christine is just wimping out on all that love and joy that polygamy brings. Robyn is Robyn. I think she is having a very difficult time in life. I think she is desperate to delude herself that she made the right choice and the right man/family. If she admits to herself that Kody is a bad enough "leader" and "husband" that means she has chosen a bad man. But. But. It is God that directs her choices, and God is perfect and all knowing and finds really good rentals if you are a good enough believer. So. If Kody is a bad husband, and she chose him, then God was wrong and directed her in the wrong direction, and then oh my...that means that....God. Was. Wrong. When God is never wrong. So she is desperately clinging to the knowledge that Kody is good and the wives are all the baddies. She obeys him because he is good, and she makes her kids a prisoner to him, because he is good and right. Round and round we go. Robyn has some serious anxiety issues and I believe after watching this show (with clinical precision)...that all of her talking over everyone, trying to make them all act and talk in very specific ways is her trying to shape a world that she wants (needs?) to live in. A fantasy world. She needs to control everything. Kody? lolol Wow. He has decided that Christine's worth is only valued on what man she is beholden to. Naturally, being such a lowly used up middle aged woman she could never be accepted by any man of any worth and now her only reason for wanting to live near almost all of her adult children and extended family, can only possibly be for a man. 🙄 Oh? Community?? That word ONLY means religious community to him. He is so lost and pigheaded that he can not fathom that anyone would want to be near such a lowly woman in any kind of polygamous gatherings. So. In his tiny head, she is to be openly shunned by all circa 1950. She left the control of her priesthood holder and needs to have a scarlet letter sewn onto her garments so that all know what a true fallen woman she is. 🙄 He really is a piece of work. Get ready ladies because he is locking you all down and you will all obey or....or.... or....

I posted this back in the real time when Janelle purchased the 5th wheel trailer. Just so anyone can have a look at what she purchased. My general guess at what she would have had to pay for a truck capable of towing this monster is at least $45,000, depending on new or used or how decked out she would need. However...learning to drive this kind of rig is a skill in its own. Naturally we know that she paid professional haulers to move the trailer around.

Based on the angle of each shot, they are using one camera/phone for each of themselves and then the editor is popping back and forth piecing the frame with the conversation or whoever is having a facial reaction at the time. Each shot looks like they are sitting in a circle, so they could have a mini center circle of 5 tripods to film the whole thing.
