  1. This episode was written by the Legends of Tomorrow crew, wasn't it? Because that was right up their alley. Big fan of Garth and Bess being completely loyal to the Winchesters. Without Sam and Dean, they're not living a normal life, and they don't have a family. Also loved Garth being the big damn hero of it all. And he's damn right that the Monster Squad were the heroes. Maul letting go right away when Dean tapped was a great bit of realism. He's a fighter, and if somebody taps, you let go of the move and respect the tap. You won the fight, don't keep the move on them. He'd have that as muscle memory.
  2. This is Legends, if a villain doesn't ham it up, are they really a Legends villain? That's part of the charm, the villains especially get to cut loose, have fun, and chew scenery.
  3. This episode might have been their love letter to the fans, with Blind Wave and other reactors appearing at the beginning, the fan art, and that little convention at the end. It was their way of saying "Thank you, without you we wouldn't have gotten to season 5." Lantern7, Blind Wave is a reaction channel. Every reaction they do is pretty much a podcast, because they'll spend 20 to 30 minutes after the reaction talking about the episode and what could happen in the future. They've been acknowledged by Candice Patton in the past,
  4. Blind Wave made an appearance on Legends of Tomorrow. Guys, Blind Wave was on Legends of Tomorrow. Way to go, crew Blind Wave. Ava isn't good with the condolence cards. It's a good thing that she didn't give it to Sara.
  5. The big difference between Luke and Curtis, is that Curtis started out as smart tech gay guy that came up with a cure for paralysis with no problem, to his character basically being "I'm gay", they took away his depth. Luke hasn't gotten there yet, he's a smart tech guy who gives advice to Kate, and is a good friend to her. So far, his main characteristic hasn't become saying one thing. Imagine saying that during Birds of Prey.
  6. With the failures they've had, they could be getting more lax with their rules. Perhaps letting there to be more expansion. I remember hearing that they're focused more on stand alone movies right now, and not so much a shared universe. Just in Crisis we got Donner's Superman, Green Lantern, DCEU Flash with a Victor name drop, and we actually saw Batman. Actually seeing Batman used to be a massive no-no, and we not only got Batman, we got a Batman that straight up has no morals. So they could be setting up Darkseid as the next crossover.
  7. Barry's gift is being on the same Earth as Kara and free Dodgers season tickets. Kara's gift is being on the same Earth as Barry and her new bestie Kate. Had to chuckle at Maddow saying that she wanted politics to stay out of superheroes. All Batwoman did was come out of the closet, and somehow that's making a political statement. You knew that Batwoman was gonna come out when that girl was telling her about her life. Kate and Mary have reconciled, and Lucas made Kate a cupcake. Kate, you really do have a great sister and a great friend.
  8. Anti Life Equation, and Lex mentioning apocalypse? Darkseid's gonna be the next crossover, isn't he? He's the reason that all the heroes are gonna have to work with Lex. Winn is with Leviathan? Winn is with freaking Leviathan? It's like they saw what Batwoman did and said "We got a way to top that." It can't happen. Kara's got a lot of powers. She can fly, she's strong, she can shoot fire from her eyes, she can rock a dress like nobody else, she can run fast, she's got freeze breath, she's always optimistic, but her true power is pep talks.
  9. Kara's just one big happy dork, and it's incredible. Her excitement at seeing Kate, and then when Barry was unveiling the table. Never change, Kara. Kate was kicking it with the Danvers Sisters at the end, love it. Ruby Rose has more chemistry with Melissa Benoist, than she does with the Batwoman cast. Good to see that Mick being a good author wasn't retconned with this. And the fans still love him. Praise Beebo.
  10. What human has been in the most Skywalker Saga movies? Obi-Wan Kenobi. He spoke to Rey when she touched Luke/Anakin's lightsaber, and spoke to her during the battle against Palpatine. It's not just the Skywalker Saga, it's also Obi-Wan's legacy. Without Obi-Wan, Anakin and Luke never become Jedi. I love that JJ made sure to put him in his 2 movies, even if it's just his voice. You gotta love that it wasn't Rey, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Luke, or Mace who defeated Palpatine. It was all the Jedi. Palpatine thought the Jedi were no more, he thought he could stomp any hope of them coming back. He was wrong, like Luke told him, his overconfidence was his weakness. And while Palpatine thought that Luke's faith in his friends was his weakness, Luke's faith in his friends, father, and the Force, was Palpatine's downfall in Return. And Rey's faith in the Force and Jedi of the past, was Palpatine's ultimate downfall. What Palpatine thought was a weakness, was his opponents' biggest strength.
  11. You should. It's freaking fantastic. It humanizes the Clones, they get some much needed character development. You get to see more of the problems with the Jedi Council, that allowed Palpatine to take over. It does a great job of showing Anakin's growing dark side, and his frustration with the Council. You do also see that Obi-Wan was noticing that there were problems with the Council, and he could have been the only one to stop Anakin from joining the Sith. And they have a brotherhood in the series, that's much better than the prequels.
  12. If this is leading to Ezra's storyline being wrapped up, that will be a huge shock. And welcomed, it would involve Ezra, Sabine, and Ahsoka. The freaking Darksaber with a live action appearance. Loved Baby Yoda waving, and using the Force to protect his family. And, of course loved that Cara didn't turn villain. She really is Mando's friend to the end.
  13. The best thing about the first movie was Rhys Wakefield hamming it up as much as possible, and chewing all the scenery.
  14. The Empire can still go straight to Hell. Kuill got Baby Yoda to IG-11, right? Please tell me he did, and what the scout troopers picked up was a decoy.
  15. Ryan and Esme are dead, and Ben is alive. On the plus side, Ryan and Esme are symbols of the Resistance, and their deaths won't be in vain. And Esme got Vivian on her side, along with other people working for the NFFA. Gotta love that Ryan's crew never even thought about touching his cut. They had complete loyalty to their friend and leader, and when it was broadcast about the team going after Esme they were torn on if they should go help. They no doubt would have joined Ryan, had he not told them to leave. And Turner, who left Ben behind in the premiere, is joined up with the Resistance, after the deaths of his brother, his frat brothers, and seeing what the Purge did to Ben. And Marcus's son is a leader in the Resistance. That was a great way to bring all the stories together.
  16. And what started it? Baby Yoda letting himself be known when Zero was decoding that message to Mando. Baby Yoda's going the extra mile to protect his dad.
  17. Jefferson shows up in another Earth, without his family, and it doesn't take long for him to become a leader, and show his fatherly instincts. There's a reason that the students of Garfield were ready to go to war for him when he was arrested. And of course he repeats the mantra he delivers to students. I don't want Jefferson and Barry to wind up on different Earths. Same with Kate and Kara, keep them on the same Earth. Ruby Rose has more chemistry with Melissa Benoist, than anybody on Batwoman. Of course, like I said in the previous part, it's hard to find anybody that can't have chemistry with Benoist. And yep, Kara has Kate as a backup plan in case she goes evil. They truly are the Beeboverse's World's Finest.
  18. It has to be said, there aren't too many people that Melissa Benoist can't have chemistry with. I'm a fan of her and Kate as "besties". And we're definitely gonna get a moment where Kara tells Kate to keep the kryptonite, and that she and Alex are the backup plan if Kara ever goes evil. Mick's a popular writer on every Earth. I love that they've done it, and his writing has the approval of a Darhk, Barry, Barry's daughter, and Superman's son. Would you really need anymore validation? He better give a copy of his book to Clark and Lois. The Smallville scene was pure fanservice, and perfect. The only bad thing is that I would have liked Clark to say that even without him "The world's in good hands", referencing the Smallville Justice League. Cryer continues to be the perfect Lex. And Routh is still a perfect Superman.
  19. Oliver isn't for real dead, no way do they kill Oliver Queen off in the first episode of Crisis. Loved the return of Spike. He should join up with the League in the final battle, along with Gumball and some Dominators. Lena is protesting too much. Her walls are falling down, and she's seeing the light again. She'll be redeemed by the end of Crisis. Oliver's reaction to Kate being Batwoman was great.
  20. One day, she will be in a big time franchise, and actually get to smile at the beginning. One day she'll be told, "Your character will smile at the beginning as you do on your Instagram." Baby Yoda looked so sad when he was walking down that ramp. He didn't know where Mando was, poor guy.
  21. "God ain't even God." Yep, they've been laying the groundwork for the reveal that Chuck isn't actually God. He's been an impostor for a long time. And Team Winchester thinks they can beat God, with everything we know, that if God dies, the world ends. Planting the seeds for the reveal of Chuck being a liar the entire time. Dean should have know better than to trust Lindsey McDonald. You can't trust a lawyer from Wolfram & Hart, except for possibly Lilah. Cas is ready to go to war. I know Supernatural doesn't do epic fights, and that Dean and Lindsey aren't trained, but they could have shot the fight better. Yes, they were hiding the stunt doubles, but they didn't need 842 cuts. I'm not expecting anything like Arrow's big fight in this past episode, or Kate tearing through Crows in this most recent Batwoman. But, could have cut down on the number of cuts.
  22. Popping in to say that I love that Yao Fei was there, and got to fight alongside Team Arrow. Also that he mentioned that Shado's spirit lives on in Oliver. Oliver doesn't become Green Arrow, without Yao Fei and Shado. So Team Arrow is never formed without Yao Fei and Shado. That's part of their legacies, they were the foundation of Team Arrow. So to see Yao Fei get to fight alongside the team, was great. Too bad that Shado wasn't there, had she been there, that means Team Arrow would have fought alongside Yao Fei, Shado, and Slade. Three foundations of Team Arrow.
  23. That was a really fast 40 minutes. Good job not going the romance plotline with Cara and Mando. It's just 2 badasses becoming fire forged friends. No love triangle (that widow wanted all of Mando), not even a hint of it. She can't return soon enough. Baby Yoda continues to be the most adorable thing in Star Wars. Put Anna Kendrick and Baby Yoda in a show, and watch people die from the adorableness. But, those assfaces tried to kill Baby Yoda. There's gonna be a lot of pain coming their way. Good job by Bryce Dallas Howard in the director's chair. We got a Loth-Cat! This is not a drill, Loth-Cats have made an appearance in live action Star Wars.
  24. If the NFFA arrests Ben, then that would blow the lid off about the Purge. He would be the ultimate example that the Purge is making people worse on every day. They don't want that known, so they'll let him do his own shit for awhile. And Marcus's son was also connected with the Professor friend of Esme's, that the NFFA killed. He knows about the work she was doing, and that the Purge is making people worse. He's marked because of what he knows.
