  1. In case you still haven't figured out who the Empire is based on, here's a high ranking official named Hess. Mayfeld has seen some shit, and was part of Operation: Cinder. Wasn't expecting a Battlefront II reference.
  2. Not cool, Goldbergs, not cool. You do not have somebody sign a terrible cover of "Your Song", and then ultimately never play Elton John. That is not cool, that's an unwritten law. If you tease an Elton John song, you deliver on Sir Elton's or at least Taron Egerton's version.
  3. We didn't have to wait for Ahsoka, we got here at the beginning. That was awesome. Ahsoka, Yoda's Theme, Grogu got the ball again, Kyle Reese, Loth-Cat cameo, a Thrawn namedrop, and the possibility of a live action Ezra or Cal Kestis (some Jedi is gonna sense Grogu). There's just so damn much to love about this episode, it lived up to the promise. I'm guessing Thrawn is the one giving orders to Gideon.
  4. Miracle is an adorable dog, and without a doubt a good boy who deserves all the pats on the head, but he's not the cutest dog ever. That honor still goes to puppy Carmine from Human Target. Indeed, if Miracle wasn't gonna pop up in Heaven, would have been nice to see him with Sam and his son, or a dog where it's clear it's Miracle's baby.
  5. That was without a doubt not on Agents of SHIELD's level. Sorry, I know SHIELD got shot before COVID, but the 2 finales I've seen this year, one gave the perfect ending to the show, and one didn't. Couldn't get Donna, Charlie, Jody, Cas, Mary, or anybody besides Bobby back for the finale? Just Bobby, and not even have Eileen back to be Sam's wife. Was not a fan. And what happened to Miracle? Miracle should have at least been in Heaven at some point.
  6. Murray killed me, Murray freaking killed me. The rest of the episode, not as good as Murray. That's all I can really say.
  7. Bo-Katan! Ahsoka name drop! Dude, that was incredible. Sasha Banks didn't do much in this episode, but that's cool, she should do more later on in the season. Why get Sasha Banks and barely have her fight if it's only one episode? Looking forward to that group returning.
  8. Yep, and without them Jack follows in Lucifer's footsteps. Thanks to Sam, Dean, Cas, and Mary, he never wanted that. He only wanted to be like those that he considered his true family, he wanted to help people. I know I'm in the minority here when it comes to liking this. When it came to Jack, the debate of nature vs nurture, wasn't even close. Nature stood no chance when Dean, Sam, Cas, and Mary are the ones doing the nurturing. It also played into the Winchesters' motto of "Screw destiny." Their free will caused Cas to rebel and exercise his free will, and thanks to them Jack chose to be good by his own free will. Free will crushed destiny. They didn't kill a big monster at the end, and they didn't kill Chuck, but they saved everybody and are responsible for the win, just not in the glory way. They did the heavy lifting for that moment to happen. You are now free to punch me in the face for my take.
  9. So, Jack becomes God? Lucifer's son becomes God thanks to the Winchesters (Cas is a Winchester). The ultimate middle finger to Chuck and Lucifer. Jack never wanted to follow in their footsteps, he only wanted to follow in Sam's, Dean's, Cas's and Mary's footsteps. Disappointed we didn't get a Portals moment, but we got those characters in the montage. And it looks like the show might have a happy ending.
  10. That was great nightmare fuel flashbacks to Fallen Order.
  11. Whoa. That was huge, who would have thought that the Sand People would work with the other inhabitants of Tatooine? And that we'd get a Krayt Dragon? Also, some random dude showed up at the end. Pretty sure he's not important, we've never met him, and he probably doesn't have any connection to any character we know, like say Han Solo.
  12. Guys, the Holy Grail is the bunker. The Winchesters have the Holy Grail. The knight said it wasn't supposed to pass the seal. No wonder everything is screwed up. I swear, the only direction given to the guy playing Adam was that he had to act like Taika Waititi.
  13. The first 2 segments were okay, I wasn't really feeling them, but that last segment, that was incredible. Everything with El Barto's appearance, Bernie Sanders, "As a warning to the other trees", and "I think they're eating the eating the elevator operator", all had me laughing my ass off. Heck, the entire elevator gag was hilarious.
  14. Carter and SARAH would be disappointed in him, though. Deputy Andy took a dark turn.
  15. Yeah, congrats to the happy mom and dad. It's gotta warm your heart and bring a smile to your face, that after all the shit Melissa went through in her previous relationship, she's found so much happiness. She's gotten married to a better man, and is now officially a mom.
  16. Considering how close the cast seem to be (I think 95% of David Harewood's Instagram are photos of him and costars, or just costars), Melissa's probably really been talking to them about it since getting pregnant, and talked to the rest of the cast. They've been prepared for awhile, so it's not a shock. This allows them to find other projects, doesn't matter if it's theater, other Beeboverse shows, or movies.
  17. Rewatching Friday Night Lights again, because why the hell not, and there's a moment I've gotta mention. Landry kicking the field goal to give East Dillon the win over Dillon, and keeping Dillon out of the playoffs. Coach Taylor was shoved out of Dillon and they redrew the district lines which cast out Landry, leading both of them to East Dillon. Like Coach said, it was the wrong move for Dillon to listen to Joe McCoy, and Joe had to watch as East Dillon beat Dillon and his damn son.
  18. Yeah, that would be terrible for Wonder Woman 1984 to debut on that. The whole launch was a disaster, and that's with Fresh Prince, Big Bang Theory, and Friends. Luckily for HBO, Peacock is apparently even worse.
  19. Miguel got there late, and only saw Robby shoving Tory against the locker, and kicking a Cobra Kai student. Miguel didn't know that Robby was training to break up the fight, from what he saw Robby was attacking Tory, and kicking the guy that tried to stop it. Robby has no clue that Miguel got there late, and misunderstood the whole thing. From there their personal feelings for each other took over, and it became an all out fight. Neither one of them tried to ask what was going on.
  20. Considering they're expecting COVID to hit even worse in the winter, on top of the flu season, I don't think we'll get it at Christmas. I hope I'm wrong. The Legends need to fix this mess.
  21. And it's been pushed back again, this time till Christmas.
  22. Daisy Ridley mentioned on Jimmy Kimmel that an early idea was that Rey would be a Kenobi. We could have gotten a Kenobi saving Anakin's grandson from the Dark Side, and the influence of Palpatine. After Palpatine tore the Anakin and Obi-Wan brotherhood apart, we could have gotten their grandchildren uniting to take down Palpatine. That would have been better than Rey being Palpatine's granddaughter.
  23. Why did I watch SHIELD? There are 3 huge reasons. The first was the character development. Fitz went from meek scientist to becoming a leader, look at season 2 when he stood against the entire team to defend Daisy. May went from agent with reputation for crushing people and the cold exterior to match, to being Team Mom, and being damn proud of that role. Daisy went from hacker who didn't really fit in, to finally having the family she never had. Like Daisy said "I already have a sister to save, her name is Jemma Simmons." Hell, at the beginning Daisy could get annoying, but they turned it around with her character. Even one season characters like Jaco go it, Jaco went from following Sarge to hating Sarge's tactics and the fact Sarge left Snow behind, he became the baker that he truly was, and went out as a friend of SHIELD. Secondly, they weren't afraid to give us the happy moments without any pain. You always fear that the happy moment will be crushed. SHIELD gave you the happy moments. We got Cal getting a happy ending, May and Coulson's kiss, Fitz and Simmons getting married, and the finale. The biggest reason was the chemistry of the cast. Everybody worked well together, it didn't matter the pairing. It didn't matter if it was Daisy and Fitz, Mack and Simmons, May and Daisy, or anyone else, you believed they were a family.
  24. Davis: "I know, but either they changed the signs, or you programmed me a little stupider, so you could feel superior for once." Piper: "I swear on all things holy you were always this stupid."
  25. That was just a perfect finale. Everybody got a happy ending, and nobody (outside of Garrett) died. Even secondary characters got happy endings. Flint's at the Academy, which is named after Coulson. Piper asked for her bestie back. Loved May taking control of The Cavalry nickname. She hated it, because she got it by killing a child, but to protect her family, she's gonna be The Cavalry. There was nothing to hate about this finale, except for when it went to commercials. Thanks for a great finale and a great 7 years.
