That was more of Rowena coming up with a reason to have Sam there, in case the plan didn't work, she would need him to kill her for her backup plan to work. It's a bit different given that he's the one that had to kill her. It wasn't her being killed a demon while Sam was there, he jammed the knife into her. Rowena's grown close to the Winchesters, and Sam and Dean have been all "screw destiny", so Sam sees that destiny wasn't wrong in that regard.

The JTP and Murray's friends you can usually count on to deliver. The constant recycled plots on the other hand.

Esme's definitely going to find out something about her boss, and the NFFA. The attack that killed her friend was a coordinated attack, that wasn't amateurs. And they had mentioned that the Professor was outspoken about issues in the country. She was marked for death. I'm guessing the bank robbers' whole storyline will lead to that one guy getting out of the country with his family, while his partners join with the resistance to the NFFA. That resistance is still out there, and after what happened to the one, I can see the other robbers joining up with them. Heck, they've mentioned that Purge Night is getting worse with everybody running around.

The show hit the jackpot with Hartley Sawyer. And Panabaker is having so much fun as Frost. But the true highlight of this episode is Barry being a giant dork with his dancing.

He and Penny are out doing Purge triage, so if the NFFA would have wanted him dead, he'd already be dead. His friendship with Pete the Cop may have helped him. We know Pete's taken on the NFFA before, and lived to tell the tale. He's off limits on Purge Night, so the NFFA wouldn't want to martyr him or his friends. Also if Joe screwed with Rick and Jenna's security system (likely since he's the one who installed it) before Purge Night, he would be in violation of Purge rules. So Miguel killing him saved the NFFA some trouble and ammo. And they may be pissed at Joe for killing Tavis, so they'd look the other way at Miguel killing him.
-
Maybe the file those "Purgers" were looking for from the official's friend has something to do with Tavis. I can't imagine that Pete the Cop was the only one looking into the shit the NFFA were doing, and had evidence of it.

He's currently playing Colonel Sanders. This show is far from beneath him. Still saying that Lena is being controlled by Hope. Good to see Franklin back.

Kate, you already gave your sister the do not kill ultimatum, and she broke it. I know she saved your life, but probably best not to give her that same ultimatum the same night she killed somebody, less than 24 hours after you gave her that ultimatum the first time. Nice that Beth/Alice knows that Kate kept looking for her. She didn't just give up, so something had to make her stop.

The crazy graphics are because some people will think that the current weather situation isn't a big issue, and the Weather Channel is showing them that yeah, it is a big freaking issue. So take cover, or drive slowly. I will admit that I do use AccuWeather's free site sometimes. Of course, that's during the summer and when storms are firing up. I'll be checking Weather Channel, KAKE's website (outing myself as a Kansas peep), and AccuWeather, to see what each is saying. You want as much data as possible to know what's going down.

Yeah, that was funny. You knew it was coming, but it didn't make it any less funny that Murray's friends actually got into what they were doing with Bev. And the Ghost reference. JTP was great. Poor Naked Rob, everybody gets naked, so it's not special anymore.

They film in Vancouver, so the skirt didn't really do much to keep Melissa Benoist's legs warm. Pretty much all of her stuff as Supergirl is outside, so her legs were freezing. The move to pants was so she could actually stay warm, and it was something she's been requesting since season 1.

That bill that was presented before Congress in 2005, was introduced by Rick Santorum. Oliver should have mentioned that, he's been on a crusade to make sure people don't get free weather data, and of course is a big supporter of AccuWeather. Gotta love AccuWeather's hatred of other countries's models. Weather Channel will always show both the American and Euro Models, and they've got no issue doing it, but there's AccuWeather pitching a fit. Hell, even local stations will show 2 different models if they show something different. I think Meyers hasn't gotten the nomination yet, is because the Republican Senators realize that people will be pissed if the weather data they got for free, is now something they have to pay for. And for states like Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska, those forecasts are necessary. First time a tornado cuts through a town, and people have no warning because the NWS won't share data for free, they'd be in deep deep shit.

Love how quick they're blowing through the mysteries that would drag out and cause unnecessary drama. They know Beth is Alice, Sophie knows that Kate is Batwoman, Kate's admitted she was wrong about Luke, and somebody else is in play. Good job writers. Robin and Wonder Woman have been established to exist on this Earth in this episode. We knew Themyscira existed, but had no confirmation of Diana, now we do. And I wonder what Robin we'd get, guessing Tim, since Dick and Jason are apparently on Titans (sorry haven't seen it).

Brainy and Nia are really wanting to take that most adorable couple in the Beeboverse title from Barry and Iris. Of course they're putting Eve in baggy clothes, gotta hide Andrea Brooks's pregnancy. Lena isn't Lena, no way. They dropped enough hints in this episode that Hope/Obsidian is starting to control her. She thinks she's in charge, but Hope is pulling all the strings. We just saw Hope enter Eve, and all the talk about taking away emotions, Hope is controlling Lena. And once again on the shallow end, it's impossible for Melissa Benoist to not be able to rock the hell out of a dress.

"He's been playing us this whole time." They're setting up that Chuck isn't actually God, and just a being that imprisoned God and stole his powers, aren't they?

Murray said he just wanted to watch Cheers in peace. Also ABC's doing this whole old casts popping up in new shows week thing.

"Yeah, bro, I'm pretty sure you might be a drug mule." LMAO

On a scale of 1 to 10, this episode was a 12 just for using the Flash Gordon theme. It's a universal fact, there isn't much that can't be improved by Queen. Good episode, and I'm digging the new Frost outfit.

Yeah, Brainy brought up ancestral memory, and that he remembers everything the previous Brainiacs did, so he's afraid of that becoming him. He doesn't want to be Brainiac, he wants to be Brainy, he wants to stay on Earth, hang out with his Earth family (Kara, Alexa, J'onn, James, and Lena), and be with Nia. So it's nice to see that's he's afraid of losing all that. And of course Nia's understanding, and all of Brainy's Earth family would be understanding. Poor Brainy just needs to hear the words "You're stronger than you think, trust me. Those previous Brainiacs don't stand a chance against you."

Not a fan of them turning Lena evil. Just have her and Kara work things out. Was iffy on the suit, but in footage it looks better. And yeah, filming in Vancouver constantly would necessitate dropping the skirt and going with "PANTS." On the shallow side, Melissa and Candice Patton can give seminars on rocking a dress in the Beeboverse. Just Melissa in that pink dress, dayum. Still like Brainy and Nia together. Although the debate as to greatest movie villain can only be between Darth Vader and Hannibal Lecter.

Bruce has backup Batcaves. So we know that there have been Batman wannabees pop up and they get killed shortly after, and we're supposed to believe that after Kate makes one save Gotham gets hope and believes Batman is back? And to CW, fix your damn commercial breaks. It doesn't help shows to have to go to abrupt commercial breaks.

What they've done with Louis is the ultimate example of how good the Suits writers could be. They had him as the main "villain" in season 1, but thanks to Rick Hoffman's performance he started to become popular, and they realized they had hit the jackpot with Hoffman. They changed course and in season 2 started to flesh him out more, showed why Louis was Louis, and made him more sympathetic. He became the best thing about the show. So for him to be the last man standing, the managing partner of the firm, to have a family in New York including a daughter, be respected and liked by the other name partners, and have family in Seattle, is great.

That's more believable than Louis being alone at the hospital. This is Louis, he would have called Harvey, told him what was going on, and asked him to come be there. Even if he called, and told them to stay, there's no way they wouldn't have immediately went to the hospital to be there. You wouldn't have been able to keep Harvey, Donna, Mike, Alex, Katrina, Samantha, Robert, and Lipschitz away from the hospital in that case. Loved Louis being calm all while Sheila was in labor. And that when he saw Harvey and Donna after they got married, he immediately congratulated them. Also, he's got a new friend in Lipschitz. Best thing about the finale is that Katrina became a name partner.

In a movie series about an evil entity taking the form of a killer clown, and murdering children, the most disturbing scene in all of it, was Adrian's murder. Because Pennywise had nothing to do with that. That was all humanity and the hatred some people have, and it woke Pennywise up. It's something that's happened far too many times. I liked it, not as good as Chapter One, but still good. No shock that the cast was fantastic. Did anybody honestly expect James McAvoy or Bill Hader to give a bad performance? Had some nice "Hell yeah" moments. Bill's response of "It beat the Devil", Eddie throwing the weapon at Pennywise, Bev kicking the door back into her father, and Eddie damaging Pennywise before the final confrontation. And you had to love that Pennywise still ultimately terrified of the Losers Club. Yeah, he wanted to destroy them, and kept trying to scare them, but he was still terrified of them deep down. It took no time for Pennywise to get out of there when Eddie started choking him, and it didn't take much for them to make Pennywise small. He's been afraid of them since they went into the Well House and Bev stabbed him, and he's been terrified of them since they beat the shit out of him.

Kevin Dunn, fantastic supporting actor. Never really the lead guy, but that's not a bad thing. He's had a long successful career as just being a supporting actor.
