That's both expected and deserved IMO.

I don't think it will be Diggle who habitually pukes when Barry flashes him.

Nope, she's been a documented coffee addict on the show I think. Two instances that pop into mind are 3x04 and her not being able to talk before coffee when Ray showed up on her doorstep like a freak, and Diggle being the saviour bringer of java last season when he was still her friend and I knew who he was. I'm sure there were others. I forgot to mention, Max Fuller was relatively engaging. I cared more about his storyline than a lot of the regulars. He really wasted that Ivy League education. Yale, right? Not to be judgy, but I thought it was a waste that he used it to run night clubs even before his shadiness was uncovered. I was also really looking down on him when he picked up a gun. Sure, your hired killer couldn't get Oliver but you will. So him going into the crowd and threatening a bystander was a surprisingly smart choice. Didn't work, but it was a sensible way to try to get away from Oliver in that situation.

I agree with whoever said upthread this was a mediocre episode. I actually have no problems with this conflict between Olicity aside from the fact that it wasn't featured prominently enough and some things were never touched upon. Like Felicity not automatically helping with the investigation but staying home. Shouldn't that have caused Oliver to pause? It's very unlike her. So, Felicity remains isolated, but seems to be chosing that herself now. If so, then for the love of God, just go into it. But no, I'm not mad at Oliver. I have plenty of mad to go around. Maybe I should go around in chronological order: Rene for bitching about not getting the same treatment for catching Diaz. Bub, for one you were just tagging along. For another, he went on to almost burning up Slabside and everyone in it afterwards. Curtis with his stupid question. My God, it's like S1 with Oliver getting back from the Island and people asking him the dumbest shit. Shut uuuup. Whoa, can't believe the guy who plays his boyfriend got paid to stand around. Dinah for just too many reasons. Her lame ass quips, stupid strut and looking like she's hitting on future William. How exactly she has the power to just approve Oliver working with SCPD I don't have a clue. Saint Diggle of the Hypocrites going to work with Diaz. Nice. Lyla going to Diaz I'm okay with because she never tried to mount the high horse Diggle feels comfortable on. I missed that but I had trouble understanding a lot of the dialogue in the first FF sccene. Now we know shit has hit the fan because she's always been a coffee person. :o I was thinking along the same lines myself. The opening scene was da bomb, I'm not sure even Oliver could do that work out, but it's weird to think about the specifics. How could she have had the same training as the super specific, comrehensive one Oliver had? And why? Did Robert take her to Lian Yu to summer with Yao Fei? I don't get it. Thea should probably be grateful she was only 12 when he died or she'd have been handed a little black book as well. Dick move, Robert! Quick aside, I'm totally chosing to believe Oliver and Felicity rushed to see William as soon as Oliver washed out his cuts, and they hugged for two hours. After which it was decided to let William finish up his term for some sense of normalcy. To suggest differently is insanity.

I don’t remember anything indicating that. Right now they’re on a quest to plug Lazarus tubs around the world or whatever. Was there something pointing to them being on the run in the future?

I agree, except that I think Rene is The Glades mayor or whatever they call their elected leader.

What's a stretcher? I'm pretty bendy, but things do change with age. I was shocked and disgruntled to find out I could no longer do a back bend when I started taking yoga. It was so easy when I was a kid and during my teens. Just lie on your back and next second you're up. But now it's like no way. I try and get stuck on the crown of my head. To clarify, I'm 35 now, not decrepit.

The Mark of Four sounds like some shadowy cabal more than anything. I was mildly entertaining the idea that it was Oliver’s way for his kids to distinguish people. Blackstar’s bee tattoo = #aQueen #babygirl #precious. The Mark of Four = #the worst. And the four points actually refer to people - Black Hole Dinah, obviously The Glades’ future leader Rene, Curtis, and if the fourth is Dig, I wouldn’t shed tears at this point. Still super mad at him. However, I then sadly realized the chances of DC Comics giving the go ahead on making BC a villain are probably next to none. Even if it would make for a better story.

That’s such a weird line for Oliver So Sorry Queen in general, but fresh on the heels of apologizing to Talia, a woman complicit in the plan to kill his friends, family and baby mama, for killing her father, a man who left his mortally wounded sister as a calling card, branded and brainwashed him, and tried to level a whole metropolis with the Earth, in self-defense, in particular.

Having watched the episode, that didn't feel like Oliver idealizing Felicity in the past, but him telling her that it wasn't true that she was weak back then. It could have been clearer, but so could so many other things in Arrow. In their last scene he lit up like a Christmas tree when she said she loved him more than she should, so I think that conveyed the love without using the words. I'm fine on that account. I do think all this needs follow up, but I'm not writing it off on the basis on this episode alone. The trouble is they had so little screen time while Oliver was being saddled with Rene and Dinah even more. I do hope that he reflects on Felicity's words about her and William being left alone. But there's this network we're supposed to have. Trained vigilante friends, super gocerment agency back up. You should have been protected. -Yeah.... About that...

I'm thinking about SA saying how Oliver could no longer live in a normal apartment building after leaving Slabside. I hope it's not just Felicity's security measures he was referring to, but that this episode's attack is what prompts them to move to the house from the photos.

Oliver and Felicity will lose their shit if they see her like this.

Is the person who’s been posting sneak peeks this year on holiday?

I binged the first three seasons, so none of them were that horrible, even if they all had their flaws. I was bothered by isolating Oliver from the team in S2 and pretty mich the same thing in S3 with the episodes after his "death". Those seemed neverending.

I'm hoping it's her scar and Oliver is responsible for taking away her screech. Quite possible. I honestly already forgot what she was saying aparat from it being annoying. But then, yes, an asshole. I'm banking on that during their confrontation as well. Although I feel the need to point out that NTA and RoboDig should be included in that statement as well.

So, the bunker turned underground fighting ring? Oliver to William in the present day? I don't know if they can cram him returning from school into the episode, but a phone call? Obvously some idiot to Oliver. Because, yeah, a Supermax is a place where you'd go soft.

I don't know when exactly OTA was coined, but it was definitely in and by the fandom. Because when it was mentioned on the show in seasson 4 it felt like validation.
-
Yup. I’m also touched by Oliver helping Dinah instead of the other way around.

This is old so everybody but me has probably already seen it, but I just found it and it's awesome.

THought the same thing about the baby. A pregnancy announcement his season sounds almost guaranteed at this point.

Someone important is obviously Maya. And the job I suppose is either to do with this prisoner initiative or ARGUS or something of that ilk. I don’t think SCPD is an option at this point because he does suit up, and while the attitude towards vigilantes may be changing, it’s still illegal. ARGUS can work around that because Suicide Squad. Plus, it would explain Barry as Oliver training with Dig at ARGUS in the crossover.
