Why is Roy now orange as well? Is this a cautionary environmental storyline, there is no ozone layer over SC 20 years down the line? What the hell is going on? Are the kids going to turn orange as well? Damn Oompa Loompas all around.

She is also suddenly really orange for some reason. Did her enemies trap her in a tanning bed?

I don’t get that impression. I think Oliver and GA were always supposed to be dark and broody, and Barry and The Flash were supposed to be light and cheery. The crossovers seem to reflect this vision. The show certainly has been painting him with socialist strokes since at least season 2 and his efforts to work with Blood though IMO. Then we had his platform in S4 and initiatives as mayor in the following two seasons (more so inS5 than S6 I believe, but correct me if I’m wrong), and finally, two episodes ago he had barely cleaned himself up after 7 months of prison before campaigning for prison reform.

Plus, Barry and Oliver confide in Diggle and Curtis about the switch instead fo Felicity. This just goes to cinfirm my suspicions that they didn’t address Olicity’s issues in more depth last episode just to have this set up where Oliver doesn’t automatically and logically go to Felicity for the crossover.

I still don't get SA channeling Barry, and GG channeling Oliver. Why? If it was an actual Freaky Friday situation with them switching bodies, then yes, of course, it could have been fun.
