  1. Best episode in a while. I loved Claire winning Valentine's Day. And Cam and Mitchell didn't argue once! The writers should be aware that the fact that it was noticeable may mean they do argue just a bit too often.
  2. The Penny stuff is part of the show moving towards it's end game, IMHO. They seem to have an idea where they'll all be by the close, except for Raj, who has been treading water for some time now. They keep looking like they might give him growth, then dialling back on it in favour of cheap laughs.
  3. Sister Monica Joan watching Steptoe & Son was a lovely scene. Glad she's got her telly back. And now Ursula has gone, she can eat her bonbons in peace, too.
  4. Oh Neighbours. Why have you done this? The Dee return was going so well.
  5. Every single one of their kids is an utter moron! I blame Trump for making it trendy. And still hate Brandon.
  6. This show really is the closest I've ever seen to what I've been reading in my comics all these years. The situations and tone are just spot on. Loved BabyBatman starting to take shape. His escape from the handcuffs and easy beat down of Jerome were great to see. And his moral code gets it's foundation. Barbara and her legs of wonder make any episode better, and this was already good.
  7. A predatory lesbian and an unfaithful bi-sexual. Two tropes for the price of one in this plot, Neighbours. ;)
  8. Don't know where we stand on spoilering after it airs in the UK.
  9. Good work from Ryan Moloney today. He portrayed the absolute confusion very well.,
  10. JJ's useless lying skills made me laugh.
  11. If Sister Ursula messes with Delia and Patsy, I sewar to cow....
  12. I loved Sheldon and Amy's lovey dovey talk using formulas. I also appreciate that Sheldon is turning into a bit of a horn dog now he is enjoying living with Amy. Sheldon's excitement at getting to write a relationship agreement also got a laugh, then Amy topped it with her mandated laughter at the 'party' gag. Raj and Howard, a couple of decent lines aside, was a bit of a waste of time.
  13. Selina's Mum is surely setting up the con to try and get big bucks from Bruce. Poor Selina. Her kitten heart will be crushed. I enjoyed the episode. Jim is still dull, though. I like that although they don't specifically say it's set in the past, the technology (the TV in the GCPD) and the family all sitting watching the Penguin's meltdown are nice touches towards that.
  14. Thank you, crappy weather! The Steelers/Chiefs game was due to be shown on free cable here in the UK (i.e. without having to buy their sports package), but because it was delayed, they showed the Green Bay/Dallas game instead! What a classic. Well worth staying up till the small hours for. That tip-toe catch by Cook was amazing. I love it when it truly is a game of inches.
  15. More great stuff this week. Maya's attempt at dressage was my favourite until Kenneth's voice over. Loved the Inspiration porn/Magical Negro bonding.
  16. 'Why not just type 'gun'?' Neither side came out well in Roy's piece.
  17. I liked it. Sheldon's earring screams were my favourite parts, I think, but Penny & Leonard's story had some nice stuff too. I enjoyed the pretend to be sleeping at Stuart's voice bit. It seemed to be done with affection, and I bet it made Stuart feel included.
  18. 'Ray couldn't handle this'. Dylan's hair reminded me of Hayden Pannitierre when she was in 'Malcolm In The Middle'.
  19. Well, he was in 'Justice League Dark', along with John Constantine. I loved the series, which naturally meant DC cancelled it.
  20. Yes, it's sad to admit it doesn't hold up well. I loved it back in the day. I visited America in 1990 and bought myself a QL baseball cap. I've still got it.
  21. Goodbye to the only true Princess of my childhood.
  22. Thanks to them showing pages from an 80's Superman comic. Maggie Sawyer appeared in the Dr Who Xmas episode.
  23. Liked it a lot. Light and breezy bit of Xmas fun. As a DC geek, I enjoyed all the references. Using pages from John Byrne's post-Crisis run on Superman means Maggie Sawyer has appeared in 'Dr Who', albeit in comic strip form. Does that make her the first out lesbian to do so?
  24. He was such a beautiful man, both inside and out. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2016/dec/26/the-philanthropic-acts-of-george-michael-from-5k-tips-to-nurses-gigs
