S09.E24: The Convergence Convergence
Gulftastic replied to shapeshifter's topic in The Big Bang Theory [V]
I enjoyed it, but it's possibly the lowest key finale they've ever done. When it finished, I thought it would continue in next week's ep, only to come on here and find out there wasn't one. I really had an idea that Mary and Leonard's Dad hooking up would lead to Sheldon and Leonard realises that they could soon be brothers. 'Take a pill!' 'Like you have to for sex??' -
Tatiana as Krystal. Dayum! She's like a Russian Doll of hotness. Every layer reveals more heat! Donnie was once again fantastic. I love how he acts different with each clone. Tatiana must be grateful that she works with him so much. Lovely scene between Sarah and Monkey.

Me too! Of course it's all about her.

TDS 3.0: Season One Talk
Gulftastic replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in The Daily Show With Trevor Noah (2015-2022)
I was about to FF through the musical guest. I'd never heard of them, but for some reason I wasn't quick enough on the remote and once they got going I listened to their whole sing. They were very good. -
Right Murphy, smash this and we've won. Anytime you like, just smash it, and we've won. No time to waste, if you could just smash it and we've won. Only 30 seconds, so you should smash it and we've won. Oops, too late, we've lost. I hope my neighbours appreciate how hard I fought the urge to shout 'JUST SMASH IT!' whilst watching the scene. Also ,'Now all I have to do is hit the kill switch.....'. Words fail me.

S04.E04: From Instinct to Rational Control
Gulftastic replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in Orphan Black [V]
Donnie is really the male MVP of this show. His flaming was hilarious, and he is such a good husband when he tried to explain Alison's pain to Helena, and he expressed how hard it was for him too. Shame Helena has taken it as her cue to leave. Please come back, Helena! I thought the Air Italia sequence was very funny indeed. And Ferdinand is a Yorkshireman! Although I've not known many people from Sheffield as posh as him . Oh, and as much as I love Donnie/Helena/Alison scenes, I also adore any time Cosima and Scott do gross science stuff. Their complete oblivion to just how horrible the things they do are is always funny to me. -

Much better use of Stuart this week. He got some funny stuff to do. I love Sheldon expecting a high five for one of his petty points during the cutting debate. I too wanted Penny to tell Beverly off bug style. Maybe, if next week is the small ceremony, we can see her and Leonard doing so. -
The worst thing about Proms is that they've crossed the Atlantic and we have them in UK schools now. It was an end of term disco in my day! Meh episode, btw.

I agree about Liam being likeable enough when they are not portraying him as having a willy that is magnetic to women. I've quite enjoyed his discovery of his Jewish heritage. The Menorah was the best thing he's ever built.

Really? Boy, did my attention wonder! This

I gave up about 6 episodes ago. Is it still the same lazy show as the last two seasons, or have they gone back to what made it good in the first two, i.e. the chemistry and growing love and trust between the two girls?

If I were Bellamy or Clarke, and I'd just watched two people collapse to the ground after drinking the Kool Aid, I think I would have at least sat down before knocking my serving back.

Good point! That would be tons of fun. -

The cops don't know she exists, do they? Helena pretends to be Alison so no one knows there are more than one of her. -

Donnie/Alison/Helena would make the best spin off. Their scenes are gold, Jerry, GOLD! Loved Helena worrying about her babies growing up like her. Poor damaged sestra.- 65 replies

S09.E22: The Fermentation Bifurcation

When Raj introduced Claire to the group, he should at least have told her everyones' name. Also, if this 'dating two women' plot ends with a crushed Raj, Ill not be happy. We saw that after the shy lass dumped him. We don't need to see that again. -

Alison does indeed have good taste in men. Mr Baby Ox is the best. I loved him with Helena at the hospital. Speaking of Alison, Tatiana's acting once again was excellent during the exercise sequence. How she can even do aerobics a certain way so it's in line with the character is superb. -

This is the one for me. My absolute idol. I'm in pieces and can't stop crying. RIP Prince Rogers Nelson, you brilliant bloody genius. -
I don't know they don't just rename the show 'The Adventures Of Liam & His Magic Penis'.

Christina Hendricks was pretty funny in her 'Firefly' appearances. -

Puppet Grandma made me laugh so hard. Superbl random. -
Although it's understandable that Titus went for Bette Midler, 'From A Distance' is Nanci Griffith's song!! (Not that it's her best work, but it's hers!) Kimmy's meeting with her Mum made me rather sad. I know she got what she needed in the end, but not what she wanted.

Dull dull dull. I was just waiting the whole episode for one of the incredibly stupid things they did to come home to roost. When they all started diving in, and then didn't just swim away from the floating zombies, my eyes rolled back so hard. And this is what we lost our Heda for?? Harumph!

S02.E17: Wrath Of The Villains: Into The Woods
Gulftastic replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Gotham
It's not messing with established Batman history, as this is an entirely new history. Call it Earth-TV or something. Like most, it was killing the dog that upset me most from Penquin, not the cannibalism. Poor dog. I'm sad we didn't see more of Baby Bat and Kitten's adventures in the city.
