The Lena and Marianna scene was very good. Kudos to both actresses. Brandon and Callie *sigh*. I hope that ends quick when they return. I loved the look on Stef's face when Jude said 'we did do something'. You could see her gulp. Oh, and I thought Rosie was excellent. I loved how beaten down by it all she seemed when Callie came a'calling, but also how touched she was at the fundraiser.

I enjoyed the episode. Aside from Mike and Ana turning up at the festival, the rest of them being there was OK. Brandon and his girlfriend were going, and asked Callie to join them. Jesus had to think on the fly when his girlfriend called him out over the booty call. It was probably the first thing that came into his empty head. Speaking of Jesus, every time you think he's as dumb as he's gonna get, he finds a new level. I liked the little speech Mat gave about his absent father, and how he if he could hear an apology, it would make so much difference. I don't know if one of the writers has personal experience of an absent father, but they got that part spot on, certainly from my personal experience. It was good writing. And, of course, Tool-Belt Stef. Hawt.

What I could get from pausing my PC was: 'Dear Stef & Lena It's Ana Guitierrez (not sure first paragraph, it was all about being sober, Mike helping and her being on the 12 step programme) One of our steps is to make a list of people that we've harmed, and do our best to make amends. That's why I wrote this letter. I'd like to see Jesus and Mariana - I want to apologise to them in person. And also to both of you. I hope you will be willing to allow me to do this. If you don't want to talk to me directly Mike said you could reach me through him. Thank you - Ana' I think it sounded reasonable, and I bet within two episodes they've allowed the meeting. I didn't mind this week's ep. Girls United is good once in a while. No Judicorn and very little Lena is not good, but at least it wasn't just about Jesus and his boring girl troubles.

No, we normally get through the group stages, then lose in a penalty shoot out during the knock out phase. The exit this year was our earliest for over 50 years, I think. I went on a week's holiday, leaving the day after the tournament started. England were knocked out before I got home.

I like the idea of a weekly thread. It'll make things nice and easy. I'll miss TWOP, but this site seems OK.
