  1. With our collective luck, it will turn out to be a dream, ala the Dallas season that was all a dream that Pam had. Lol. I could see the writers doing that to us. For example, having Sookie wake up saying, what the hell was that all about, getting in her car and going to work at Merlotte's just as it was in the opening scene of the pilot. I hope that Lettie didn't kill Tara. She f'ed up her entire life. It would just add insult to injury for her to have f'ed up her death too. I hope Tara didn't meet her true death, but I am not holding my breath.
  2. Exactly. I know I didn't make it clear that i knew that is what it was. Sorry about that. It was funny though. Lol.
  3. I could not stop laughing at how Jason's shirt just magically disappeared in that scene. I got the biggest chuckle out of that. So, I appreciated the humor of it as well.
  4. I am totally on board with that! In fact, I was thinking that what Jackson needed to do in his attempt to understand Mia's PTSD would be to be left in the house where the simulated fire was set with no protective gear and have to run and hide under the bed until they let him out. Then he would really know what it felt like. Even better to have the pet owners go through it too!
  5. StayClassySD, I completely forgot about Bookie's (tm Chlcgirl) telepathy being a gift from Mr. Catalaides (or however that was spelled). I actually miss him and his niece from the books. Agree about Jason's way with the ladies being his part of the fae gift. They should have explained that in True Blood. I think if the showrunners had stuck with the major plot points, we would have a completely different show and the subsequent seasons would have been as popular as Season 1.
  6. You are right, StayClassySD. In the books, Claude played such a large role and I didn't like what they did with him in the series. I don't like what they did with the Eric amnesia either. I wanted much more nekkid Eric! LOL.
  7. My personal preference would have been for the writers to stick to the major plot points in the books. The writers could have taken some latitude with smaller details, but they went so off the rails starting with season 2, that I think they really did a disservice to Charlaine's books. I liked the mystery part of her books that they seemed to dispense with in the show. I do like that they retained Lafayette's character and his relationship with Jesus was great. The show would not have been the same without him. I hate what they did with the Tara character and I would have liked to see her follow the book story line as a successful business woman, happily married with adorable twins. I would have enjoyed seeing the fae uncle (Dermott?) of Sookie and Jason too - the one who looked just like Jason, plus their cousin Claude. I don't know that I really liked what they did with the fae realm in the show.
  8. No, not Tara. Damn it. I am taking that hard How weird is Pam's search for Eric? I could not figure out why they were standing in those big tubs. I didn't realize the other guy was a vamp. Lol. Damn, what an upsetting start. I hope they rescue Holly, Arlene and the rest.
  9. I am watching a rerun and just cracking up. They talk like squatches are seen all the time. All I know is they definitely proved the existence of coyotes. Lol.
  10. Word. Why on earth wouldn't she figure that out? Idiots, the both of them. Same thing with the first family. The poor cat was traumatized by the fire and the father wants to just send her to the pound. I am no cat behaviorist, but I can recognize abject terror when I see it. I just have no words.
  11. This episode about put me over the edge too. When Lux was meowing at his "mom" and she was freaking, I was yelling at her that he wanted something, maybe petted, not that he was going to attack her. Sheesh. Cats get attached to their location, too, so any moving is going to be stressful and take some time. He needs to be allowed to settle in somewhere and recenter himself. He probably does need medication, but I think the stress rely contributed to the situation. I am glad he is out of the bad home and I hope he recovers soon.
  12. I am happy that Arya is finally moving forward. I think that, with so many characters and storylines, we get to see some wandering aimlessly around until it is finally their turn to move forward. That is what I like the least about the show. I liked the finale - many loose ends were tied up and I am looking forward to next season. I hope that in the meantime, the Winds of Winter gets released. I can dream. LOL.
  13. I thought that Gilly killed the one who came into the room? Was that Slynt? He looked dead to me. I was disappointed that the whole episode was at the wall, but I guess it had to be. It was well done. I am looking forward to the finale.
  14. I thought the same thing about that guy. Just wait until he has to change a stinky diaper or clean up projectile vomit. Lol. I do remember the panic in the 80's over cats with FIV. People actually thought it could be transmitted to humans. Jackson continues to be too dramatic, but at least he didn't make anyone bite him.
  15. I couldn't watch that last scene, either. The sound was gruesome enough. I will miss Oberyn; I became attached to him on the show. I am so glad they streamlined Sansa's storyline and dispensed with the whole illegitimate daughter thing. Didn't she just take on Lysa's wardrobe, since she didn't have any of her clothes and no one is going to be using Lysa's anymore? We have 2 episodes left, right? I am interested to see if all the action is next week or if they are going to split it up. Do you think we'll even get to see Lady Stoneheart this season?
