  1. I couldn’t find that information anywhere, but the first season is streaming on Paramount+, without any mention of season 2. I would guess that if this doesn’t air on the linear network, it will stream on Paramount+.
  2. It was nice to see both Adso and Rollo in this episode. I was surprised Rollo didn’t get to go on the visit to the Cherokee.
  3. If I got this right, the episode has Ian mention something that doesn’t happen in the books until Bees!
  4. I’m suspecting it’ll air this summer, but CBS is going to have to do some work to ignite interest after such a long delay. Meanwhile, Matt Barr, after recurring on the CW’s Walker to the first half of its season one, in the role of Walker’s best friend Hoyt, has been cast in the pilot for a Walker prequel, Walker:Independence as Hoyt’s direct ancestor in 19th Century Texas.
  5. Detectives and Patrol are different divisions of the department. The ranks are different as well. The issue has been Eddie was junior to Jamie in the Patrol rank, and they are in the same precinct. And combined with the fact that they’re now married that was problematic. If Eddie goes to SVU then the supervisory conflict disappears.
  6. The Joe-Erin story arc with the overheard conversation and rescuing the date/lawyer makes a lot of sense. Each progressive step was conveyed through the dialogue. And the date’s compromising phone call being overheard was because she was loud enough in another room in Joe’s apartment, and it wasn’t hard to read the context of what he overheard. And Joe used his own mobile to get an Uber for his date, so that’s how the trio had an address at the end. This was an episode where the dialogue was very crisp and to the point. Oh, btw, Tony Danza is now 70.
  7. Boy, whoever at CBS wrote the episode description sure got Joe’s rank wrong. It’s DETECTIVE Joe Hill. And I really like how the show is informing us, and the other Reagan’s on screen, just how much Joe is like his dad. The episodes he’s appeared in so far this season have managed to rotate the stories involving Joe with the different Reagans.
  8. In the article itself, it is mentioned that Joe Hill (Will Hochman) returns for the third time this season, this time working with Erin Reagan. So the producers really are trying to get Joe in as they can (3 of the first 13 episodes is a good percentage)
  9. You should also contact the company that produced the series, Alcon Television.
  10. You must have missed Elizabeth Mitchell on The Expanse during its six season run. She even made a brief cameo during their final season which ended in January.
  11. The issue for Anthony was that he had just been promoted into the new job, and was in an essential role where he couldn’t be away for a month (which included the time for the show’s quarantine for Covid-19 testing and protocols and the changes being made .) That probably was even more so in this pandemic era where a lot of remote work was going on and supervisors needed to be available. Spencer was about to start classes (he’s in college) but I was left with the impression that if Anthony could return then that wouldn’t have stopped him.
  12. I’m hoping for a season two because it’s James Wolk in this show, and even I was surprised to learn he could really sing. But, the writers’ room did an absolutely atrocious thing in the Rocker Joe timeline in this episode. I immediately recognized the rip-off of Matthew Aucoin’s legendary spur of the moment duet with Bruce Springsteen of “No Surrender” in Philadelphia in 2016, even down to Matthew’s homemade sign. I hope the show bothered to get permission as the performance is posted by Matthew on You Tube.
  13. Episode summary via The Futon Critic:
  14. The “more to the story” Spencer was the victim of a knife attack in Oregon in 2016, which damage to several organs and required emergency heart surgery, but he did fully recover. In the late summer of 2020, after the production suspension started, French newspaper reports that Spencer was hospitalized in Paris while waiting to give testimony in the trial of the terrorist and their accomplices. Nothing further about that was ever reported. This past week, Lulu and Layla posted a video podcast with Anthony and Spencer, during which Anthony explained that he had just begun a new job in the finance field just before teams were being alerted that production was about to resume, and that is why they did not return to restart the race. (In other words, Spencer’s health issues were not a factor at all.) For me, it’s definitely regrettable that they weren’t able to return. They were clearly a very strong team, and their experience backpacking in Europe was a strength with the way this season played out,
  15. So am I. But I routinely keep CC on for everything I watch and use earbuds watching on my tablet, live or time shifted. As to Tank, there’s aYouTube channel for a schnauzer person who has seven of them, including one who’s is older and had a cancerous toe, and bladder and a large mass. All were removed, and that one reverted to being more of that of a four year old Han 14. So in that respect, the resolution made some sense, but as I noted earlier the story line made little sense. Tank definitely has some acute senses (smell, vision, hearing, for example, so he’s an investigative asset.
  16. Keep in mind that this show is actually filmed in Europe, with local casting of actors, so we’re going to be dealing with non-American accents left right and sideways. Have to wonder why they went with a Tank is seriously ill storyline in these early episode. Definitely suggests the writer’s room is a concern.
  17. I believe they’re still using the CBS only app for CBS shows. (As I have both Paramount+ and Apple TV+, it’s not an issue for me. In looking at the Apple + page for tv shows, it now mentions a season pass for TAR 33, but it hasn’t shown up yet in the ITunes Store. Mystifying, to say the least. I’ve rewatched both episodes there, and the only difference is now that the closing credits appear in that new style and then the traditional closing credits with the TAR theme. The secongd episode has the previously s and the opening sequence, and then resumes with all the ten remaining teams with their departure time. But I can understand why they restored the episodes to be separate. It takes a while to download two-hour episodes because of the file size.
  18. We now have an exact premiere date for season 6 on Sunday, March 6th.
  19. They’re also two of the three childhood friends who stopped a terrorist on a train from Belgium to Paris in 2015. That incident was the subject of a 2016 biography and a 2017 film directed by Clint Eastwood. There’s more to the story, especially with Spencer, but that will have to wait for another time.
  20. As foretold in an interview after the season 11 finale, the show runners are gradually working Joe Hill closer into the family. Joe mentioning to Frank how he didn’t have a picture of his father (and Frank bringing him one of Joe Reagan on the second visit to Joe’s apartment) Joe finding out exactly what being treated like all 35,000 NYPD officers meant in a way that kept Joe Hill from taking matters into his own hands, even with a broken arm, and Anthony setting Joe Hill straight about the Reagan’s as a family and implicitly that Joe Hill really is a Reagan like his dad (Anthony must have known Joe Reagan so Frank isn’t the only one to tell Joe that he really is just like his dad). They’re evolving Joe Hill’s relationship with the family step by step: this time it was all with Frank, the entire family was involved last time, but maybe it’s time to have Joe Hill help Frank and the rest of the Reagan family in some way. https://www.tvinsider.com/1008503/blue-bloods-season-12-joe-hill-will-hochman-reagans/
  21. Joe Hill. That’s all that needs to be said. Finally someone got through to Joe that he really is one of the Reagan’s and not hide from it. A stepping stone in Joe Hill’s long-term arc, and not the last, I’m sure.
  22. I get those kinds of spasms in my upper back due to a huge scar mass and although excruciatingly painful at that moment, it passes and I just continue on.
  23. Big news coming from London Comic Con Although the upcoming fifth season of The Last Kingdom will be its last, star and executive producer Alexander Dreymon announced this weekend that the producers and Netflix have agreed to a film/special “Seven Kings Must Die” to complete the story of Uthred. Alexander will serve as one of the executive producers of the project. While the five seasons of the series were based on the first ten books of the “Saxon Stories” that were in print at the time the series first aired, three more novels were published, finishing the book story, and it’s fair to assume the new film project will incorporate the remaining three novels. Filming will begin in early 2022.
  24. If you watched all three season, then you know San Francisco is the Titans home base. The team went to Gotham to save it. With that mission over, their headed back home. Dick’s team has essentially swapped Tim for Jason, and even Jason knew he has a karmic burden to work off on his own. Donna may be taking a trip to see Dove and deliver Hawk’s message, but what we were shown in that earlier episode suggest they have a plot device to bring Hawk back when Alan’s schedule permits or if the new gig doesn’t work out. I suspect Donna will show up next season with the Titans. I’m glad Connor Kent quickly became so useful and resourceful as a half-Kryptonian/half-Earthling and somehow able to ignore the two genetic ghosts that reside in his head. Bruce, ah Bruce. Boy, the show doesn’t really like Bruce, do they? I suspect the road trip home on the special RV, will lead to next season’s major plot line before they can get back to San Francisco.
