  1. Or because most of the time, Bobby served up the most tangible/creative impact/value.
  2. I love this show. While I’m hooked on the relationships, not the crimes, I didn’t see coming the combination. (Apparently neither did Nicola.) Well-played, people.
  3. A Josh, Tasha, Matty final is what I’m looking for. That way, I won’t be disappointed by who wins. They all did so well this week. And as the winners sometime go on to do more publicly, I’d look forward to that, too.
  4. Too bad. I could lose a cast member, but I wouldn’t have chosen Bobby.
  5. Ha, I subscribe to a YT channel of a Japanese woman in Scandinavia, so I was interested in seeing what Jasmine was doing. Meh. Agree, quirkygirl, someone else try it. They put a new, similar railing around that roof patio. No clue where the money came from, just J saying it had to happen.
  6. Jasmine seems like a nice person. Her work? Meh. Not awful, like the unsellable twins and not as cookie-cutter as the unwatchable Canadian twins, but still. Wishing this two-part family good luck. But seriously, was there ever a snowball’s chance in hell they could remodel their upper floor? So the call-back to Jasmine felt awfully lame. Sorry for the sister who wanted to host sleepovers—couldn’t that have been a trundle bed? Maybe there’s an extra $99 for an aero bed. I guess using slats on the walls is now in the HGTV playbook (after shiplap).
  7. We don’t know they didn’t—didn’t go back inside. Realtor can take all the Australian episodes. Snark vs. cowboy hat? He’s weird—sing it, Lucas!
  8. I think they said they were residents, so no way would “in the country” be okay. Near work and near her parents? You don’t say! *sigh* Some of the episodes try my last nerve. (Still remembering the Paris HHI ep in which an older woman was shown a great apartment, at the top of a dark spiral staircase. You betcha.)
  9. It’s possible that reaching the sink herself isn’t on the list of needs (I only saw the ending). I’m right there with you on the real story around these parts. 🫠
  10. +1 on that recommendation. The family is a hoot (waves to grandma) and the properties top HHI. By a lot. Especially in season 3. Not much drama in that third apartment—it was nice but the stairs were a deal killer. Or Fawn killer. Place Republique isn’t very far from the Marais, as Jennifer said. If, in fact, Fawn does have the hots for the 3rd/4th, easy access for her. And her son.
  11. A place for Mom! Very happy for Fawn on all levels. Missed what the son did for a living. SF real estate is super pricey and he’s still got nearly a mill for Mom’s place. The realtor was pretty mellow, agree Adrian might not have been right for them. Otoh, no way would she have made that woman walk up and down a spiral staircase, much less propose that she live there and carry groceries up it. (I’ve climbed up and down Paris’s spiral staircases—a challenge carrying nothing.) The Marais focus was the drama/red herring angle. Mom seemed sincere about the light and again, the stairs were ridiculous.
  12. Not gonna lie, she had a point about Mercury in retrograde. 😅 I don’t follow wrestling, had no idea who he was, but they weren’t snarky with each other, so points for that. I thought he made it clear #3 was their pick (house). Hope they were newly under contract, that garage would have been a pain to clear.
  13. LOL! Thanks. Still no reason to watch. Also, 🤐 to whoever thought to hijack life on Marrs.
  14. Hard to tell these days if installing central air or a bunch of remodeling would be more expensive. Here, I’m betting on the remodeling (friends added a/c for 20K). Working in telehealth without great cell coverage? LOL! No. Made up. WTF?
  15. Missing Adam is almost a hobby. Nobody did it better. (Sidebar: while I’m a McCoy fan, his shoes as prosecuting ADA haven’t been filled either. Not by Cutter and not by the current guy.)
  16. I have to assume all of the finishes are super high end. Irl, one could argue for her to make them nice/fit my budget. But this is her TV show. One other thing that made me laugh was in the kitchen. Wasn’t it in last week’s episode when Hilary did not see why in hell the wife needed a big island AND a kitchen table with chairs? In this kitchen, she added both. And the table was practically in an identical spot (near the back door). LOL! Hmm, wasn’t so awful an idea after all, I guess.
  17. Glad that the nice couple were happy with their house. Hilary did a great job. But my favorite part was the wife keeping the brick and vetoing that awful grey tile. Hilariously, they barely showed the tile in the reveal. Is Hilary an exec producer? 😂
  18. I’ve told not-voters to go protect Roe v Wade since the 70s, so my head’s past exploding. I think John crashed their website last night. 😉
  19. If you hold a sprig of thyme at its top and move your thumb and index finger down the stem, every little leaf comes right off. Maybe most were cautious about putting in too much. I thought it was a set-up critique point, as neither Paul nor Prue yakked about what a proper balance would be, (not too much or not enough, thanks).
  20. I’m assuming they didn’t tell Cristi her showstopper didn’t much look like a showstopper because of fear she’d burst into tears. That can stop. Suka, focus. Viewers need you in the tent for as long as possible. Gave away her insecurity when she said she’d need to ask her boss for more time off. LOL!
  21. I’m a fan of the boys. Fan of Italy. Not a Marrs fan. So I’m conflicted. And afraid what that upstairs looks like. I dozed at the end, did they sell it yet?
  22. At the expense of fixing the upstairs layout? Makes as much sense as the Marrs being Italian experts. Because they bought an Italian villa house. Or house house.
  23. I’m trying to figure out why the throwback hippies were on this show. Did someone lose a bet? Feeling like I missed a cage match between Hilary and Jennifer. The one Hilary lost. I’m struck by two things (three if you count I couldn’t live in that house). I hope that 1) the family thrives and 2) David was watching 😂
  24. I'm all about it. Also Audra MacDonald and Christine Baranski. Maybe Morgan Spector, but then Russell is such a robber baron. After that, I don’t care very much about the other upstairs folk and none of the downstairs—but then, I’m not sure Fellowes does either. Better keep up the clothing and especially the houses.
