  1. But it would make no sense for Zelena to be Marian (yeah, I know, since when has that ever stopped the idiots in charge?). The original purpose of Zelena's time-travel spell was to send her back to before Regina was born, in order to somehow prevent Regina from being born by keeping Eva from outing Cora as a golddigging traitor to Leopold, which would have meant that Cora would have married Leopold and brought up Zelena in Regina's place so that Zelena would eventually be the one selected by Rumpel to cast the original dark curse. That was Zelena's only goal; impersonating Marian had nothing to do with it, as she wouldn't even have been born yet. The only reason that Zelena's spell took Emma and Hook back to Marian's time instead was that the time portal was attuned to the thoughts of whoever went through it, and Emma had been thinking of how her parents met and of that time period. There is simply no way that Zelena could have foreseen that Emma and Hook would be the ones to actually travel to the past -- and arrive at a period in the past that was a good 30 years or so later than Zelena had intended to arrive. Therefore, there is no way that she could have foreseen that they would encounter Marian and end up bringing her back to the present, so even if she had somehow hitched a ride back to that same era with them, there would have been no reason for her to impersonate Marian -- she couldn't have known that Marian would be returning to the present with them.
  2. That's not why she doesn't remember it. She doesn't remember it for the same reason that she doesn't remember whose hearts she's still keeping stored in that vault of hers -- she's simply done it so many times that she's lost track of exactly who all of her victims were/are.
  3. It may not be a new concept, but can't these people throw us purists at least one bone? There's no need to completely ignore the comic-book canon for the sake of political correctness and "diversity."
  4. Really? A black Jimmy Olsen in his thirties? I can well imagine that the purists (of which I'm one) had a hissy fit at that announcement. Then again, considering that they're totally rewriting Kara's origin to basically make her alter ego nothing more than Clark Kent in drag, I suppose nothing should surprise me.
  5. Talk about an appetite suppressant! Actually, he's not that bad looking when he cleans up. It's his mouth that's the turn-off, or rather, the things that come out of it!
  6. Good question. Madalena isn't of royal blood (at least not that we know of), so any power she had as Queen would be derived from her marriage to Richard. Gareth would at best be her consort, not King. Then again, are YOU going to challenge her at this point, even though she is definitely guilty of treason, among other crimes?
  7. You're not supposed to fuck him! His constant drama-queen antics are just a bit over the top, but my biggest objection to him is the way he's let himself go in the house. Sorry, Perez, but Cro-Magnon is not the best look for you!
  8. Darren (Chef) said on Twitter today that that was his first-ever onscreen kiss. I have a feeling he's going to have more female fans now than he knows what to do with! ;-)
  9. So now we know how Tristan and Jonathan got assigned their partners!
  10. Yeah, I have to think that the powers in charge would have to take into account what Galavant faced as competition this month, starting with the playoffs and the Golden Globes the second and third weeks and the SAG Awards and the Miss Universe pageant last night. Even Once Upon a Time itself would have an uphill battle going against all that.
  11. Oh, now that's just wrong on so many levels -- but I love it!
  12. Well, on the other hand, if the show ever DOES decide to have Hook switch completely to Storybrooke clothes, at least we know how he'll look. And count me as surprised that Colin agreed to get (semi) naked for the video, since by all accounts, he really is very shy and modest about showing too much skin.
  13. True. Science may follow the rules, but Magic can bend them as needed. So if you're going to pit Magic against Science, put your money on Magic. Always.
  14. The Live + 3 ratings for the show's overall run are pretty encouraging. I prefer to hold out hope that we'll have a Season 2, preferably over the summer when there shouldn't be as much competition.
  15. Nope. The Golden Globes is the one award ceremony that doesn't have an In Memoriam segment, so there was nothing to show up because it doesn't exist.
  16. And speaking as someone who IS, always has been, and always WILL be 100% gay, I respectfully disagree. I've never even kissed a woman, nor can I even imagine doing so -- ever.
  17. That had been the plan, originally, but Sebastian's fans raised such an uproar at the suggestion that the plan was abandoned.
  18. In other words, she's simply what Clark Kent/Superman would have been if Kal-El had been female (or Clark/Superman in drag, if you will). In the comics, such a direct, blatant rip-off of Clark's origin and secret-identity motif would have been considered an insult to the character. And how ARE they going to address the fact that she's Kal's cousin and that she knows who and what he is because she learned that before she even left Argo City?
  19. By simply not ordering a second season.
  20. I learned a long time ago NEVER to watch that episode without having a box of Kleenexes handy. I'll bet there wasn't a dry eye in the studio that night, either!
