I really wonder who would seriously watch this drivel and find it entertaining? I can hardly make it through just watching for snark value. I can’t fathom watching for any other reason

I had one, and my only complaint was the screen size and not enough memory (we had the base model). Verizon had a deal a couple years ago where they offered full trade in value when the iPhone 7 came out, and my husband and I both upgraded to a 7 Plus with more memory and we’ve been very happy. Just got new batteries to try and extend the life of these phones, the new models are so expensive! Screen size aside, make sure you get as much memory as you can. It’s no fun to constantly run out of space.

I would give anything to see someone equally stealth go toe to toe with Robyn. Now I’m going to be disappointed if it’s not true.

Goo Gone is awesome for removing labels. But we’re talking about Janelles daughter here, so I’m sure things like removing labels is just.so.hard. Probably would put her off exercising for six months.

Blame the editing...the classic defense of every reality show participant who doesn’t like how they’re portrayed. Well, paraphrasing the classic words of an early Real World cast member, they can’t show what you didn’t do. You acted that way, own it! And even if it was just a storyline for the show (which I don’t buy), don’t break the fourth wall, Meri. Whoever said she shouldn’t engage hit the nail on the head.

I have to go to India next month for work, and I am absolutely dreading it. I’ve never been before, but the travel time is 29 hours not including the time from the final airport to the hotel. Four flights in total, the longest one is 14 hours. The only consolation is that I get to fly Emirates business class, which looks pretty awesome. I’ll get to check out their lounge in Dubai 😋. But I have to be there for two weeks, and I’m paranoid about getting sick. Almost everybody from my company who goes gets “intestinal distress”, ahem. I’m packing food and enough hand sanitizer to swim in. I don’t want to go! London and Scotland are on the top of my bucket list. I’m fascinated by British and Scottish history, I want to tour museums and old houses and see the Tower of London. I’ve been an Outlander fan since long before the show, @Scarlett45 I hope you have an amazing trip!

I’m surprised they waited this long to announce it. They post pictures of their coffee but held onto actual news for a few weeks? The mind boggles.

That video makes me want to slap the smug expression off Austin’s face. “Families come here and spend a week with their kids and realize they actually like them.” WTH? And the part about making sure mom and dad aren’t working too much-um, people who don’t have reality shows have this thing called JOBS to put food on the table for the children we supposedly ignore and barely recognize. Erin and her "romantic ideas" make me want to vomit. It's like she's watched too many Hallmark movies, plus she regurgitates every trite, overdone thing that's marketed as "romantic". I'm so tired of seeing these cheesy courtship and proposal events, none of which would be happening without the show. I've always felt like romance can't be manufactured or forced, it happens on its own, and it's often not the things that are hyped as being romantic. After being married 25 years, if my husband puts gas in my car when it's cold out I'm happy! Assuming this show ends (which it should, heaven knows), I wonder what effect this will have on the younger girls. They'll be able to look back and see all these fancy weddings and proposals, but when their turn comes they won't be jetting off to NY for wedding dresses or flying to Maine to get a proposal. I wonder if they'll be resentful?

Sorry, I missed your earlier post or I would have quoted it. I’m just glad that LLR is starting to be held responsible for all their shady business practices. I hate to see anybody lose money like that, especially since it’s usually people who can ill afford it.

Thanks for the link—even if the patterns were attractive, I hate how the the inside of everything is plain. It looks so cheap, especially when they have those dresses with the purposefully uneven hems where the inside of the garment shows.

Without having any context as to why doing a vow renewal at five years was so important, I found the ceremony completely unmoving. It felt self indulgent and unnecessary. You already had your wedding day, and there’s no true do over. Stop pretending. And get off my lawn!

Good eye, I zoomed in and that’s definitely Lawson (can’t tell the younger Bates boys apart so the rest are a mystery). Seems weird they’d be at the Duggar’s house for Xmas, though.

When I was growing up it was tradition to get a new Lanz of Salzburg flannel nightgown every year. I still have a soft spot for them but Mr. Kbo is not a fan. Sigh.

I can’t wait for new episodes to snark on, you guys are some of my favorite posters on PTV. It’s just annoying how far behind reality the show is—are we supposed to be shocked that Aspyn is engaged when her wedding was in People 6 months ago? However, like many of you I’ve been watching since the beginning and will be there until the bitter end.

Agree. It’s like the Duggars who’ve been married ten minutes trying to give advice on marriage. Stuff it! It’s not even that I disagree with the general sentiment, but her baby is a few months old. Wait until your little darling can talk back and be a pain in the neck. Motherhood is not all sunshine and roses, no matter how much you love your kids.
