I love that this can be read to say both that their mother does not love the kids (she doesn't) and that she does not love JB.
-
Especially since there is no real audience and that is just the crew trying to make it seem as though there is.

I'm sure you're right. What could they talk about? They don't work, don't read, don't watch TV, don't have hobbies or interests. Their only topics are Jeebus, courtships, weddings, babies, and awkward sexual references.

Is Carol the one wearing the upholstery fabric or the one wearing the sweatshirt with what looks to be a backpack?

WCIA Special: Holiday House Call 11.16.16

Use cheesecloth instead of towels. Cheap and disposable. And butterflying is actually a different, albeit similar, technique from spatchcocking. The latter involves removing the backbone whereas butterflying is just cutting open a piece of meat like a book. </cooking nerd> -
Does he have a "please, get me out of here" look on his face or am I projecting?

Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events
jcbrown replied to maraleia's topic in Counting On
I just connected MEchelle's puffed sleeves with the comments Boob made on the Say Yes to the Dress crossover episode where he was hoping for leg-o-mutton sleeves (he did not know what to call them, or course) on her wedding dress for the vow removal (TM whichever kid said that) . It just hit me that this is why she always wears those terrible sleeves--her Headship's terrible taste. For some reason, that creeped me out more than many things that should legitimately creep me out more about these idiots. -
The hell? Sweet moments with Daddy constitutes endangering your children? Even if the car is not really moving, the Duggars should have a little more sensitivity to PR than to post this. But then again, I suppose I am glad they are still idiots.

Sandra Lee In The Media

And imagine the tablescapes at State dinners! -
I think the Chicago couple were both horrible and pretty well-matched in their passive aggression. I predict they will be divorced within five years. And I must defend my beloved Wolf range with the red knobs. One of the best things we did when we had our kitchen remodeled 2+ years ago was have the contractor run a gas line and install a 6-burner dual fuel range. Granted, I am a serious cook and not like a lot of the open-some-cheese people on HH (nothing against cheese!) but that stove continues to be one of my favorite parts of the kitchen. And the red knobs do not cost extra.

"Ironic" is not something Duggars can spell, much less understand. Even worse than Alanis Morisette at that. I believe "taste for s%*t" may be the appropriate characterization. And/or "on close-out sale."

New Episodes Discussion: Cooking for Jeffrey!

Steve Jobs but I agree with all the sentiments in your post. -
I was emotional on my wedding day to my husband, whom I had lived with for nine years at the time and known for more than 35 years. I can't imagine what it would be like to marry someone with whom you had never been alone, never kissed, nothing. This system is insane.

(Among) the thing(s) that drive me to distraction about this show is their mischaracterization of architectural styles. A newly built tract home is not a Craftsman, you nitwits! I guess it does sound better than "generic house that looks just like all the others in the neighborhood." I was burning off a bunch of episodes this AM but I think it was the Michigan episode where they called something "Victorian" that was nothing at all like a Victorian. Grrr.
-
I would respectfully disagree that the L in folk is silent. It's not foke.
-
Which kid is that behind the wheel? I can't tell the generic herp derp boys apart.
-
It is getting a bit meta.
-
Because that might put thoughts in their heads about being actual individuals who are different from one another? And we can't have that. Automatons all wear the same size.

I agree they looked good as always but my quibble is going to show my age. Michael and Mario were dressed as characters from classic TV, which was ostensibly the theme. The other three were not from classic shows. Married with Children, Family Matters, and whatever it was Clinton was dressed as? When I think of classic TV, I think of the 50s through the 70s. So M*A*S*H, Mary Tyler Moore, I Love Lucy, etc. I will say that Carla was convincing enough that I found her so obnoxious in character I had to fast forward through her scenes. So, good?
-
If they were capable of embarrassment, that would make sense. I'm sure they think she was entitled to them.
-
So was it all the hand sex that Josh and Anna had that led to their "marriage bed" being "defiled" by Josh the Vile?
-
Marry me. Oh wait, already married. Still, I stand by the sentiment.

Wow, I really hated the condescending blond judge with the stick up her butt last night. What a PITA.
