  1. I had to laugh when Erin talked about her favorite view of the new house. While it is a pretty view, I think they need to find a new spot for the garbage cans!
  2. Well, Cade didn't name his son Spurgeon, so he's doing better than another fundie dad I can think of. Augie is a cute nickname.
  3. What an odd picture of Jana. She looks like she has no lower body!
  4. She at least needs to call this hat a bonnet - just like the way she feminizes sweatshirts by calling them blouses.
  5. Jill is probably 10 kinds of pi**ed off that others leaked photos of her "Kaylee girl's" wedding. And people are all opining all over the internets that it's way better than the mess Jill put together for precious Nurie's wedding. I'm imagining that even DBD was impressed when he realized that he'd get a meal and if he stated that, it probably ticked Jill off even more! She's going to have to do a lot of BS posts where she takes credit for the new improved wedding!
  6. I'm imagining BME calling Kaylee this morning and in her simpering, giggly voice asking her how "it" went last night. She would absolutely do that after not preparing her daughter with any information about s-e-x!
  7. All this talk about not having a "worldly" party. Don't they live in the world?! <--- Rhetorical question. I know this is an example of humble bragging meant to be very critical and judgmental of wordly going straight to hell folks.
  8. Jill must be busily writing accolades to herself and deciding which kid she should pretend is posting it on her FB account!
  9. Pastors having a second job hasn't been part of my life experience. My son-in-law is a pastor and doesn't have a second job. That Ben and Jessa have a parsonage is probably quite beneficial to them financially. That it's so close to the church probably means they have very little privacy from the parishioners. That said, with young people not exactly attending in droves and older parishioners dying off, the Seewalds' future may be very hand to mouth in the years to come.
  10. Thanks for taking one for the team! I've tried to watch their videos. I swear Evan bugs me as much, if not more than Carlin. He's a smug, know-it-all, who actually knows nothing. They are both super annoying!
  11. That sounds awful, @zoomama! I hope you are feeling better soon.
  12. My husband is sensitive like that. We have to take our king-size bedspread to the laundromat to have it washed. The last time, the staff there used scented fabric softener and he couldn't stand it. He took it back and they rewashed it with fragrance free at no charge, but it still bothered him. So we bought a new one that we like better. We'll just have to be more careful with our instructions in the future. I hope you can get the items scent free so you can enjoy them!
  13. Let's hope she's wearing a sweatshirt blouse underneath that coat. You know, so we can tell that she's a woman! I absolutely hate when gravel is used for landscaping. In Jill's mind, that is a garden. I guess I just don't appreciate some of Jill's "skills".
  14. Now you've done it! Jilldo is probably working on making faking a video of a day of her teaching her brood at this very moment! (jk - I agree with you!)
  15. Alyssa & John must be high five-ing each other that risking her life to carry another blessing has resulted in the long awaited boy child for John. If she survives the birth they can high five again!
  16. Wouldn't that series of actions cause Jessa's mothering instinct to kick in and then she'd swoop in and save the day? I don't understand what went wrong!
  17. I really hope their kids survive their stupid parenting.
  18. Maybe Jessa did the ad sponsorship again in order to be certain that Spurgeon's hospital visit was covered by this arbitrary "insurance". Though I would imagine that due to her followers, her medical costs are always covered. And that's probably not the case with "lesser" Christians.
  19. The story is likely that "Jesus laid it on his heart to mow lawns for $$ and to guest preach whenever possible to serve the Lord" or something like that. Jill will add a dis to Philip's former college, noting that it's no dang good and totally unnecessary for Philip's future.
  20. When Alan talked about how he needed his freedom to work on his relationship with his son and then Sam came in with a sofa and a mini-fridge, I was afraid he was going to kidnap Ezra and bring him to the basement - so they could work on their issues! I'm glad they didn't go there. Instead they had this lousy ending planned. I'm disappointed and I regret watching this series. The acting was good, but the story dragged to its bitter end.
  21. That's him! I must have been having a brain fart, because Kevin has no soap history and since I quit watching them probably 20 years ago, he's too young to have been on a soap I watched back in the day! Thank you.
  22. Congratulations, @ginger90! I'm so happy for you and your family. I hope your daughter heals quickly. Grandbabies are such fun! 👶
