  1. Someone on reddit commented that they look like they're at a 40s tuberculosis sanitarium, awaiting the results of their test!
  2. It's a little preview while we all wait with bated breath for the video when they do get their "dinning" room table, most likely as a free grift!
  3. I put on a pair of jeans for the first time since 2020 today! I was able to zip them and wear them comfortably, which is amazing since I haven't weighed myself in ages and I've been all about leggings and loose tops all through Covid! Anyway, I realize that I had better go through my closet and drawers and get rid of a lot of old stuff that no longer fits or that I'm just sick of! I haven't gone through my clothes in all that time, when I would normally do it regularly. I realize Covid isn't over, but me being home all the time is over, so I better get on it! I hope everyone in the path of Ian stays safe!
  4. I watched some of Tessie's hostage interview too and it was chilling. "Her" chapter focuses on honoring your parents all the days of your life, even after marrying and leaving home. It is very important to Jill that her children remember that she is in charge. Forever!
  5. @CalicoKitty - what a terrible story! I feel awful for the injured workers. I'm glad for you that your home was spared damage.
  6. Nurie will have to up her grifting game! She'll need to be more aggressive and less "Yaaaasssss!"
  7. Jilldo is obsessed with nail clipping this week. Also aging. Jill, do you realize that one day your kids may be clipping your nails and posting about it on SM, while you stare blankly?
  8. I'm so glad that I'm not someone who exploits my Mother with inappropriate pics all over SM. I prefer to honor my father and my mother, like the commandment says!
  9. I sure hope these kids are attending real school. Izzy seemed to love school. And it would help them to make friends in their new neighborhood. I hope Jill isn't doing "homeschool" because it's easier with a newborn to stay home. I know from experience that it's tough, but it's not forever. If she really needed to, she could find someone to drive them during Freddy's early days. It's hard to interrupt naps, especially when you're adjusting to breastfeeding, but it's better for the older boys to go to school, imo.
  10. Jilldo forgot to tell us again that Amy is SEVERELY paralyzed. She's slipping!
  11. This episode was so disturbing! Feeling bad for Alan having to see that and probably feeling somewhat at fault. The ex-wife seems like a nice person who is clueless about Sam's true self. It made me think of Ann Rule's "The Stranger Beside Me". In fact, when the truth comes out, Sam's co-workers will be shocked and all "He seemed like such a nice, quiet guy." I do think Sam has made a mistake by bringing his extracurricular "work" home.
  12. Dave looks better in profile than when he's stuffing his face! That 2nd photo is not the best photo of Jill, though it does look like a genuine smile.
  13. I suffered through the whole, boring tour. Near the end, I perked up when she said something about showing real life. She meant the kids' messy rooms, but I thought we might be shown a dresser full of dirty diapers!
  14. Or Dave would get distracted about his joyfully available wife and would focus on the culinary treat that is edible underwear.
  15. Also factory work doesn't accommodate endless grifting vacations. Factories don't understand that Mahmo is the real boss, not whoever has that title at the factory.
  16. @zoomama - Please show us a finished product of your scrappy quilting! I'm watching a video right now!
  17. If he's joining a gang, his gang's colors will most likely be various shades of beige.
  18. @Jeeves - I'm so glad your procedure went so well. I had book club yesterday (All the Little Hopes by Leah Weiss - Excellent book!) and learned that another woman in my group has lost her husband. That's two in a not very big group. It's so sad and makes me want to wrap my hubby in bubble wrap to keep him around as long as possible! Afterwards we had a meeting with our financial advisor and our investments just kind of sat there and didn't do much this year. We live modestly and we're fine, but I worry about the future. Too much worry & concern for a beautiful late summer day! My oldest and I drove to WI to get all the grandkids together last weekend. It was so fun! Our grandkids range from 14 to 3 and they are all amazing! I hope all Small Talkers have a wonderful day.
  19. Carlin has interesting ideas about words. I think she spends too much time looking in the "mirra" and too little time reading.
  20. So, the swing is for Jill? So she can sit and swing while watching the Rodlets harvest all those vegetables she loves so much? The Rodlets, who are wearing socks outside for some inexplicable reason.
  21. Since Evan was fired and has nothing but time to film, I'm sick to death of hearing Evan talk! I'm not sure "but mostly Carlin" still applies. That boy loves the sound of his own voice.
  22. I don't believe Jill. Whatever test he took, she is lying about something. Her children do not have good grammar skills, because they have been poorly taught by her. I think this story is directly aimed at her detractors (of which I am one!).
