I was in Egypt this summer and the Egyptian tour guide was very open about it. He said that young Egyptian men would marry older English and German ladies for the money because it was a better future. They'd winter in Egypt and summer in their home country where it was cooler. He seemed to view it as a mutualistic relationship where they both benefit.

That is exactly what I was thinking! Except I figured it was Nancy coming down with news of a new boiler (even if not entirely true) that got the basement ghosts so excited that one got sucked off.

S04.E14: Never Say I Regret, Always Say I Learned

It's more that Morocco is primarily an Islamic country so, while alcohol is available (usually for tourists) at some places, you aren't going to see it served out in the open at sidewalk tables. Most of those sidewalk affairs are coffee or warm soda, if you're lucky. -

Watching this show is so challenging. Not one of these women ever researches the conservative culture they say they want to marry into and just a little googling would have saved SO MUCH TIME. I'm looking at you Jen and Nicole. Then, minutes later, there's Debbie asking for a margarita at a sidewalk cafe in Morocco. 🙄 This totally proves my point about preemptive Googling. Lord love a duck, I travel somewhere for a short vacation and I put more effort into researching the culture/country than any of these people do who are planning to marry into it! -
I remember she had claw marks on her back, too. Ghosts wiki says her distinguishing characteristic is "Claw marks on the back of her right shoulder".

I was at ComicCon and went to Pete's Friend Zone! After every activity you got a badge/patch with one of the ghosts' silhouettes on it. After you collected a few, you could trade them for prizes. There was the ghost couch in front of a green screen where you could take a picture which, when you received it, showed the ghosts in picture frames moving behind you. Then there was an archery section (with suction cup arrows so no danger of ending like Pete!) and a refreshment station. There were two tents, one had crystal reading or palm reading and in the other you could have a tarot card reading. Prizes included a whistle, a bandana, a camp mug, or a pillow (I think? That might have come from the Ghosts screening they had on Thursday with the cast). My friend and I got in when it opened on Friday and it still took about an hour to get through most of just the Friend Zone portion. I traded my patches for a camp mug (but I had an extra so I kept Hetty's patch!). I also went to the panel and Utkarsh Ambudkar's children were sitting on the casts' laps. His daughter was cosplaying Flower and his baby son was cosplaying Trevor in a cute little sport coat and a diaper.

Cast in Other Roles: Who were you in a past life?

Thorfinn is in Ambulance as a part of the bad guy team. It was hard to reconcile sweet Thor with this character! -
There is the belief that ghostly energy can be connected to objects rather than locations. It would be interesting to see Jay and Sam go antiquing and bring in new ghosts should this show get more seasons - some of the original ghosts might get, y'know, sucked off when they resolve their personal issues so new blood might be needed.
-
Jay and Sam could go on short vacations for a small string of webisodes over the summer and/or hiatus.

The mortician's assistant rinsed PePaw off with water before beginning the embalming process. Embalming replaces the blood with other preservative fluids. Otherwise, corpse flesh would look more sunken since there was no liquid to fill it out.

It wasn't blood they were handing out in the plastic cups at the midnight mass, but the poison mixed with water. They had all ingested enough blood to turn with all of the Communions, but needed to die first, so this was their version of Jonestown. Leeza had already seen several people die in horrible pain and recognized what was happening was wrong. As for why the vampire was unbothered by everything when drinking blood, it's probably metaphorical to show he's more animal than man. He was lost to his sin of gluttony so did not heed anything but his feeding.

Is it this one? There are a few places you can find it, like Etsy and RedBubble, which is more than when I looked a season ago! Etsy has quite a few shops that sell great WWDitS stuff! I really want either the Puritan Nadja print or the one with her and Lazlo holding hands, but on canvas so I can pretend it's a real painting. 😄 ETA: And I agree about the Nadja doll! I keep looking for it, but have been unsuccessful so far.

WWDITS: The Cast and Crew Topic!

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Natasia Demetriou has a small part in Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga! She was a reluctant stage coordinator/choreographer for the Icelandic duo Fire Saga. -
The show had a panel for San Diego's virtual Comic Con with a link that gave you a chance to win a conscription medal. I got mine today, so I guess that means I'm part of the witch army? It came with the oath, a Motherland: Fort Salem sticker, and what I think are possibly glow in the dark star stickers or tattoos.

I'm a teacher and, very often, the parents have to request home-hospital where a teacher will come to the home to help the student keep up somewhat with school work if the student needs to be out of school for a long period of time for health reasons. I'm sure that in some cases the school or district may take the initiative to offer it, but it can really depend on your district/administrators. But, watching a kid get tutored for several weeks probably wouldn't be as exciting as watching him jump for a Sports Illustrated. Special Education teachers/paraprofessionals in my district get trained to use CPI, which is a crisis intervention program that first relies on deescalation, but does include certain restrictive holds in cases where a child is a danger to themselves or others. Much of what we learn in CPI is only useful if the student is attacking us, not another student. I've been in a couple of situations where I had to use it when it was fighting between students and it was absolutely terrifying. General Education teachers do not get this training, at least not in my district. So, overall, yes, teachers are not supposed to get in the middle of a fight, but need to get the rest of the students out of the room and away from danger so I can see why no adults were jumping in between the fighting students. They'd likely be fired for accidentally hurting any of the students, even in self-defense or defense of another student. However, I am surprised they weren't trying harder to get the others students away, though no kid would willingly want to leave the site of a brawl on school grounds. They'd all be taking videos on their cell phones.

Exactly. Being bisexual doesn't mean you have to have a boyfriend and a girlfriend at the same time. Her bisexuality isn't the issue. It's whether or not he agrees to an open relationship because she has no interest in just being with him. I got such astonishing responses for saying this on twitter, but I get where Jovi's girlfriend was coming from. I would not want to stay at his mom's house, a complete stranger, on my second day in the country. I don't care if he was stupid enough to schedule this right before he's off to work for a month. I would need some time to adjust. I would also not want to go out to party right off the bat. I cannot tolerate Brandon and his girlfriend even a little bit. Their complete lack of understanding of birth control enrages me. According to what they said on the show, they are approaching it as if the universe understands they don't want a child right now so therefore they won't have one. That's not how the reproductive system works, you two. You can't just rely on crossing your fingers and making a wish.

With your salami and my olives, we've got a nice charcuterie plate started. Any illegal cheese wheels in the house? This tell-all would have been more palatable with a charcuterie tray. Bonus, Libby's family's mouths might have been too full to talk.

I got pulled to the side in a separate room for a full bag search because I did NOT buy olives from an olive farm. Who knew olive buying was a requirement to get through customs? TSA is in the olive farm pocket.

Yes! It was so noticeable I wondered why no one else commented on it. She messed up her nose for no reason. It was so grating.

I do not understand these people. Why the heck would you want to try so hard to keep a 20-year-old interested (e.g., that ridiculous bubble bath)? If your main qualifier for a relationship is that the person be "sexy", I can see why none of your relationships work out. As for Stacey, I wanted to tell her to go easy on Florian since he had probably missed his afternoon nap. And how exactly do you trick someone into taking half-naked pictures? I want to hear that explanation. This show just makes me sad, that these women have no identity outside of the really young men they think want to date them.

Yes! I'm glad I was wrong because I didn't like the graphics and thought the show could do better.

I had a lobster grilled cheese off a truck and it was more expensive than you'd think. Ooh! I'm interested to see that. I want to hear the breakdown. -

I'm confused about this idea of being able to marry more than one woman. I looked up marriages in Nigeria after one of these shows and it said there are two types of marriages in Nigeria. I can't remember the details, but it boiled down to the type of marriage Angela and Michael were aiming for (probably to be considered stronger legally for the spousal visa paperwork) would most definitely not allow a second marriage. Bigamy is illegal in that type of marriage and comes with jail time. I think it was ten years. -

I think those giant balloon shoulders they keep giving her don't do her any favors. It makes her look likes she hunching.
