  1. There are some of the English Upper Crust floating around with a triple barrel surname. It's not common but it does happen. Chummy would be a Lady only if her father was a Lord (Marquess, Duke or Earl) or if she had earned an Order of the Garter or somesuch. Otherwise she was Miss F-C-B (I'm not writing the whole thing out, going to Noakes must have been a relief for her!).

Well the source material is written in Jacks voice and from his point of view. It follows the movie would do the same.
  3. All the freaking time @Humbugged! TJ Ramini had a multi season recurring guest role on mothership, before turning up here as someone completely different. I get that casting wants the best talent available but I wish they'd pay more attention to continuity.
  4. And the Mothership proved, It.Gets.Old!
  5. Apparently the actual NCIS doesn't habe any policies against it. At least last time I checked.
  6. I like the Kensi and Deeks thing. It's nice to see a show move past the will-they, won't -they thing. And I'm fine with no contrived drama. This isn't high school. These are functioning, responsible adults and I'm delighted they act like it.
  7. This one was pretty funny! I like that our guys were able to work well with marshals. It's a nice a subtle nod to the fact they *usually* get along with the other federal agencies. I also like the small references that while Kensi is back at work, her recovery is still an on-going process. She's still struggling to sleep, to the point that getting a a *good* night's sleep is something to comment on. She apparently hasn't seen her girl gang (my term, I'm not typing out all those names each time) in awhile either, as they apparently don't live close. Even suggesting they go do something over the weekend seemed to catch Deeks off-guard which to me implies she's been sticking pretty close to home for months now. Small things but I feel they were good references to her still being somewhere in the recovery process. Going back to work *doesn't* automatically mean everything is fine and the way it used to be. Hetty was right: it's been a crappy year and they are finally coming out the other side. Of course, this means things will get blown to hell again soon. Season finale is looming!
  8. Well I did make it clear that those were only *my* personal thought son the issue.
  9. Nell is short. She is not overweight by any stretch of the imagination. Quite frankly she has a bigger rack than Kensi or Anna and her clothes do make that apparent. She is dressed quite nicely and flatteringly. We frequently see her in nicely cut dresses with a light cardigan. That is hardly "baggy layers."
  10. Not sure where that size 0 remark came from. One of the things I appreciate about this show is that multiple female leads have all been developed into distinct and complex characters that are good at what they do and kick ass when they need too and yet all distinct from each other. Nell has her own style and I think it's quite cute and attractive. And frankly I'm glad to see women in law enforcement on my screen that aren't running around in 4-inch heels and low cut blouses.
  11. Pregnancy would be crazy, because they just got done covering up DR's maternity leave. If Kensi's going to get pregnant 1 season later, they might as well have just written the dang thing in in the first place!
  12. The urgency of the circumstances regarding Boyle's death haven't really been spelled out. I tend to believe that Deeks shot because Tiffany's life was in imminent danger, as in Boyle was in the process of beating her to death when Deeks took the shot. I say this because A) Tiffany was a witness to the shooting and B) the Deeks we know is not a cold blooded killer. The only times we've seen him lose it and cross the line was when Kensi was in danger. While he certainly wouldn't want Tiffany to be harmed, I can't see him hunting down Boyle and executing him unless Boyle had a gun (metaphorical or otherwise) to someone's head. Along with that, I think Deeks would technically be legally in the clear but that would be predicated on a fair trial and unbiased investigators. At the time he shot Boyle, Deeks has been seeing very dirty cops running rampant and unchecked in the LAPD for who-knows-how-long. He caught a lot of blow-back when he did the right thing and reported Boyle. He probably covered the death up because he thought he'd never be believed. And now it's far too late to back pedal.
  13. Yay! I wonder what the life changers are for Sam and Kensi/Deeks?
  14. You can't compare Sheldon to Raj. It was never outright stated that Sheldon was asexual. His issues seemed to be focused on germs and having better things to do. Meeting Amy caused him to re-evaluate. Raj, on the other hand, has been explicitly stated as straight multiple times over the years.
  15. I really want to see the full panel but can't find it. Anyone else have better luck?
  16. I think the difference is that Sam a) deeply regretted and still regrets hurting Jada and b) he had that relationship in the effort to bring down a dangerous warlord. Joelle cannot say the same.
  17. Until I'm proven otherwise, I'm still to my supposition that Rey is a Solo. The Jedi thing could come from Luke or Leia, while the Falcon skills and Shryriiwook fluency points towards Solo heritage. Narrative-wise I think making her Luke's child would take the story backwards. Aside from a retroactively icky crush on Leia, Luke has had no on-screen relationships with women. Making Rey his child means we have to establish who her mother is, how her relationship with Luke happened, how that relationship ended and how Rey ended up on Jakku. Making her a Solo child that was thought dead in the Jedi-school carnage however more easily moves the story forward. At least in my opinion.
  18. I think it has potential. The title sucks but I like them using Jim for the narrator and I like that Jon Favereau is involved. He's a good director and tends to go for fun projects. Remember, he's the one behind the original Iron Man back in 2008 and without him we might not have the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
  19. I'm going to back off the Deeks-is-in-it-now for now, because until we see what happens with Whiting's recovery there is no way to tell what is going to happen. Well, I mean we know what's going to happen since there is no word that ECO is leaving the show but still.... I'm not the biggest Anna fan but I actually dug her this week. I was glad to see the Callen clearly told her what happened with Joelle and that it's done a number on him. I thought it was very sweet that her response was that she got it and she could deal with him needing to deal. And that she's aware he doesn't trust easily and won't push. I did have to mute during the singing though. Bad voices coupled with music I hate was just too much!
  20. I'm not condemning Deeks at all. Boyle had it coming. I'm just saying a court of law might not see it that way. Deeks took a big risk confessing to Whiting and it may come back to haunt him.
  21. Deeks isn't risking perjury, Kensi would be if she lies under oath. And of course Deeks would confess if it came to that. No way he'd put her in that position of having to choose between lying under oath or testifying against him. I think the problem would be that Kensi is a law enforcement officer and has been aware of the true circumstances of Boyles death for over a year without doing anything.
  22. Well color me surprised. I thought for sure that Whiting had died. Of course this now leaves a massive sword of Damoclese hanging over Deeks' head. In a perfect world Whiting will just let.it.go but if that were the case there would be no reason to bring up that she survived and that Deeks had confessed to Doyle's murder. My biggest concern here is that Deeks confessed to her, coupled with her threat to subpoena Kensi. We know Hetty was behind his being arrested again and that whatever she did to prompt it was probably false, the same as she did to Callen and Sam. The problem is that while Callen and Sam didn't commit the murders they were arrested for, Deeks did. So now Hetty's machinations have once again shined a light on that episode and because she didn't loop anyone in before she did it, Deeks really confessed. Even if the confession isn't enough to proceed with charges, that still leave Kensi under threat of subpoena and if she is subpoena'd she'll either have to lie under oath or testify against Deeks, since she is aware he committed the murder. Neither of which are really great options.
  23. Sheldon didn't get pushed across the hall. When the whole 'live with Amy' thing came up, it was Sheldon's idea to use neutral territory rather than *his* or *hers* apartment. I'm guessing that since the cohabitation experiment was deemed successful Sheldon is fine staying there to keep the variables consistent. He and Amy seem fine in the space. And it looks like week to week that more of their *stuff* is being moved in. Bedroom really no longer looks like Penny lives there. Given that most of the socialization takes place at L and P's place, Sheldon may be more comfortable where he is now with only Amy and himself there most of the time.
  24. If there is a backstory and Chin isn't already aware, his head will explode.
  25. I think Raj's issue is not that he doesn't make money but he's apparently in a great deal of debt.
