  1. I think it's this one: Hoy Se Bebe (the comments make me so glad for PTV's civility) Where was Pao's concern about Russ and his feelings when her shit-stirring friend was trying to humiliate him? I think Pao was just nervous about the video and fell back on the "my husband, my husband" thing to explain away her nerves. I'm starting to just not care about Mohammed and Danielle at this point. It's just wheel-spinning at this point. I agree with you guys that they're both users; Mo wanted a green card, Danielle wanted a gigolo.
  2. Ugh . . . Reza. I really hate his tendency to refer to all women as "bitches." He even spoke of the hypothetical mother of his child as a "Harvard bitch or Yale bitch." I hope he is playing up his obnoxiousness for the cameras. Otherwise, what does Adam see in him? Why do the other shahs constantly kiss his ring?
  3. Good point, but they're staying in and screaming at each other on TV. These women live to be exhausting beyond reason; in their minds, it's totally okay to get insanely wasted, but heaven forbid they be seen in the same outfit twice.
  4. You're right, but Tinsley is probably afraid of being alone. She strikes me as the type who has always been under someone else's wings, and although she resents having to answer to someone else, she's probably terrified to live another way. I felt bad for her at the dinner; knowing the sensible thing to do is very different from actually doing it. Lol! Thankfully, the ex-Countess would never be tacky enough to milk her marriage privileges in front of The Uninvited.
  5. Exactly. I'm sure that if it wasn't for the show, Luann wouldn't have bothered with the Sad Party for the Second-Stringers or whatever. I got the feeling that Sonja's "dilemma" over Frenchie wouldn't have been an issue without the show, either. As for Carole, I was surprised at her attitude in Chinatown, too. She doesn't need to be a foodie, but come on; even TGIFRIDAYS has a version of dim sum. Oh, and I definitely wanted to be a fly on the wall for the post-Ramona dinner discussion that you KNOW Avery's friends probably had behind her back.
  6. My favorite was the Woodstock short, if only for the variation on "Who's on First" involving band names.
  7. This is the first I'm hearing about a reboot. I'm super excited and scared, and this is from someone whon usually rolls her eyes at people who are all "they've ruined my childhood!" about remakes and reboots. Now I have to watch all three volumes of the DVDs to get ready (Vol. 3 is my favorite)!
  8. It wasn't just you. There were also glimmers of personality tonight. I liked his good-natured teasing about Logan's gaming skills. Same here. I'm worried that Brooke's getting a redemption edit, and I really don't want her to win, especially with her "I had faith in us" bullshit.
  9. THAT'S IT!! Thank you for this. I knew London's face reminded me of some celebrity, but couldn't put my finger on it. It was driving me nuts.
  10. Wow. Brooke continues to be annoying, and it's only going to get worse as the race winds down. I'm rooting for The Boys to win, even though I think Redmond is a jerk. Matt's been crushing his challenges, and has yet to be mean to anyone else. I wonder what it would have been like if he were paired with Floyd. Poor Floyd! I've had heat exhaustion before. It sucks--especially when you really want to keep going. I'm sure he was nauseated as well as dizzy. I'm glad Becca was kind to him. Imagine if he had Michael or Brooke as partners.
  11. I guess it's in the eye of the beholder, because I have never gotten the hype about Tinsley. I don't hate her or anything; I just don't understand what makes her so compelling to others. In fact, she kind of reminds me of Tynnyfer from Parks and Recreation: the name, the trendiness, the fixation on "It-girl-ness. Queens native here. Queens definitely gets the snob treatment from Manhattan and Brooklyn (just take the railroad people. Queens is not located on the moon), but a lot of people are okay with it. Sure, it would be nice to get more respect and consideration, but if it means that the Ramona and hipster types stay away, then we're good.
  12. I hear you. I'm not that athletic, but damn, Brooke. Try. EVERYTHING can't be The Most Impossible Thing Ever. If you're that delicate, stay home and watch like the rest of us. Scott sometimes acts like a (Harvard-educated) tool but I admire his patience with Brooke. I was another one who was momentarily faked out by Redmond's sympathy act. Then he had to ruin the poking the crazy that is Brooke. Jerk. As of now, I'm rooting for Team Fun and Team Lolo, as they are the least painful to watch, with Tara & Joey as an acceptable alternative.
  13. For me, the Carole irritation factor lies in her insistence that her resume makes her opinion the only one worth listening to. Granted, I'd trust her political analysis over Ramona "Who's Going Low?" Singer's, but the smug superiority and stereotypes about the opposing viewpoint grates. I still have mixed feelings about the Bethenny confrontation. I was on board for her sarcasm when Ramona concern-trolled her, but I thought she overreacted to Luann and Ramona's side conversation. You don't need to pounce on EVERY provocation. Sonja needs more outside interests. She's not equipped to shit-talk Dorinda. Whatever happened to her fashion line and party planning businesses? I did laugh at her Dior granny bloomers. What's the point of high end clothes if they look terrible?
  14. At this point, I'm wondering if something was edited out of the rescue strip presentation. I thought Dr. Rob had a good point about the mandate and working up to a military contact. Then again, maybe there's a reason I'm not a shark myself.
  15. . . . especially when, on the same episode, someone managed to get multiple offers for wine for cats.
  16. You're so right. If the show is going to be about Olivia, then maybe having a breather in between relationships would help her retain her focus and rebuild OPA with new gladiators. She doesn't have to be a nun, but maybe she can just date around without the guy being the President, a potential soulmate, or a tool of her father's (I won't say the name of The Organization That Shall Not be Named). I'm just tired of the constant relationship bullshit that never seems to get anywhere. I hope this time the Olitz Outing will stick so that it's not just lather rinse repeat. It's gotten to the point where I cringe every time Olivia, Fitz, or Jake even SAYS the word "light." If Shonda really wanted to troll fans, she should have Olivia realize that Huck is The One.
  17. How dare you! He's one of the two flyyest people on the planet! He and Golden owe it to society to get together! Seriously, though, he's too much. There might be some first-date jitters if he's for real, but he's coming off as extra and shady--even Golden was a little put-off by him. I did like that Countess and Nonie confronted Coyon. At least Countess isn't like Kandi from RHoA, putting up with unprofessional behavior from her people in the name of "friendship ".
  18. Thank you! I've been saying this all season. I never understood why it was so easy for Ramona to love-bomb her way into everyone's good graces after exhibiting jerkass behavior.
  19. I had forgotten how much I truly loved Jon's Charles Rangel impression. I consider it a missed opportunity that he never staged a mock confrontation between Rangel and Lindsey Graham.
  20. I can see the p.o.v. of all sides of the Model Casting Debate. Bethenny and Heather's questions were reasonable, but there was definitely a tinge of superiority and glee to their over-the-top reactions to Sonja and her team, who were not exactly models of competence. Most of my Fashion Industry knowledge was acquired at the University of Reality Television (Project Runway, ANTM, She by Sheree, etc.), but shouldn't Sonja have had some sort of dress rehearsal for her Fashion Week fashion show so that she could get a handle on hair, timing, and stuff? I'm not sure if John's panic over Dorinda not answering her phone was sweet or weird. It's probably both, and Dorinda seemed to take it in stride. More power to her, I guess. Watching Dorinda and Ramona flirt with the waiter was like watching that Jake Gyllenhaal "Bronx Beat" sketch from SNL. That poor, gorgeous waiter. Maybe someone will see him on this show and cast him in something successful. Dreams come true! Bethenny's takedown of Ramona expressed a lot of pent-up anger. I'm really looking forward to the reunion. I never really understood the "You Just Can't Stay Mad at Ramona" narrative , and wondered if I was missing something, because I'm pretty sure I COULD stay pissed at her.
  21. I thought it was kind of adorable that Doris Kearns Goodwin was briefly afraid that Jon would "Roll-212" her to prove her statement wrong. She's always been a fascinating guest, and I wish it was an extended interview .
  22. I agree , and I even understand that "civil" might not always be possible depending on the history and personalities involved. With all that she has going on, Bethenny should have avoided reality TV (which has a track record of straining real-life relationships) until her personal and emotional life was more stable.
  23. My secret hope is that Lindsey Graham and Rick Perry are running just to keep Jon from leaving. All we need now is Herman Cain, and Jon will HAVE to stay.
  24. I know. At the very least, Carmon would've had to get off her ass and do something useful, and we haven't seen that yet.
  25. I know, right? I was actually a little scared that Mama Joyce and I agreed on something. I also laughed a little when she told Kandi that she tries not to go out with both aunts at the same time. Thankfully, it looks like Mama Joyce will return to being an ass soon, so I can stop worrying.Oh, and Aunt Bertha can miss me with her sulking about the long bus trip (was she carsick? What else was she going to do with that time?), although I don't blame her for being put off by Matthew's foot rub offer.
