I want to see more Drew. Also more Curtis, Scorpio, Chase, baby Wiley, Terry, and Cam. But mostly Drew.

When Carly comes on I change the channel and sometimes I forget to come back. Show-you shouldn't lead with your most repulsive characters being ultra obnoxious. Carly lacks charm and to me is more despicable than of the actual villains on the show. Keep on showcasing this group of unlikable characters and GH will reclaim its spot as #4 out of 4. Also, trying to promote Valentine's Day with a minimum of loving couples is kind of pointless, isn't it? I remember the 'Love in the Afternoon' promotion which is what soaps were with suppose to be about. GH has gotten so far away from that,it's really sad. Sherri did a good job today. She was at ease in the Wendy environment compared to the past hosts. I wonder does she have interviewing skills.

It took me so far back because I remember Carla Benari on OLTL, Mamie on Y&R, Generations, the Grants on Days and all the rest mentioned. I got real nostalgic thinking about old soap friends.

The rapid flipping flashcard faces opening must be some kind of failed mind control ploy to keep us from realizing how awful this show is. What I do notice everyday is the complete lack of diversity. Having said that I hate to suggest this: Jordan should be victim # 5. It would be so demoralizing for the inept PCPD that they would need Dante back. Margo serves no purpose. Please do not let Billy Miller slip away to Genoa City. He's one of the few people I like. My intense dislike of Krissy made me want an Alexis/Shiloh hookup but if she can get a decent man I'm all for it. Plus adding doctors (not affiliated with gangsters!) to a hospital show has got to be a good thing. Right?

Maelstrom, you said everything I was too lazy to write. Truth, truth, truth, all of it. Both GH and DOOL are trying to reconstitute serial killers as love interests. Why are the writers co-signing the foolishness of the women who find Ted Bundy and the Menendez brothers etc. attractive? Why highlight and duplicate the worst segments of society? I find whatever is going on with Sara unwatchable because her hair is an atrocity. Her stylist hates her. There's no other reason for that unflattering shaggy old mop look. Judith Chapman is a gift to any soap she appears on. When she's not acting she should be having mandatory acting workshops. I'm sure I could recommend 25 people who would bnenefit by attending. Quite a few of them have Daytime Emmy pre nominations. Just because you're cute doesn't mean you should be in front of a TV camera. Soaps used to be pleasantly entertaining and sometimes even educating. Writers like Doug Marland would weave complex stories that would sustain interest for years. Now we watch more out of habit. If soaps were replaced with hot topics and cooking shows what would be missed would be the genre as it was once was, not these sad relics we're watching today.

Jordan was a likable, non sucky character. It's too bad the writers intend to sacrifice her for a temporary sweeps story boost. Nobody believes Ciaraa is in jeopardy.

I'd forgotten about Lawrence and Carly. During the Super Couple era they were the one couple I was really intrigued by. I didn't watch consistently after their heyday so finding out about Lawrence's death and Melanie's parents were surprises. Days has so much has so much interesting history to be drawn from because characters come and go but the families remain.

Monday 1/28/19 Today's show was good. I like this format. I would watch this everyday, indefinitely.

Spinelli = mute TV. I hoped for Alexis/Shiloh. It would've been terribly wrong and total kryptonite for coven daughters. Krissy's head would've blown open. Could've, would've, should've been fun. I deserve a replacement serial killer. Ryan is a total failure. Jon Lindstrom is awesome, the writers are not. Watching GH is making me sad. For some reason that erotic passion filled love scene made me want to hear "Pain" by the Ohio Players. Somehow having that as background music made it so perverse and amusing. It is a day later and it still really irks my soul that the only one there to comfort Laura in her time of need was Sonny. That was so completely wrong. The writers need to stop positioning CarSon as worthwhile members of the community. Plus once again Ryan has failed to live up to my expectations of a serial killer. I liked Willow's dress. Since we're tallying the stupid in today's episode I'd like to give an honorable mention to Joss leaving the scene in Jason's jacket. Jason is in a pit, in his invulnerable black T-shirt, in January, in upstate NY without a jacket. Joss had on 2 jackets on her way to GH in a car/limo with a heater. The only good part today was that people on GH were actually going to GH. Utilizing a hospital on a hospital show- what a radical concept.

I wasn't familiar with anyone on the panel today and they weren't impressive. But maybe that's the point. Jerry O'Connell has a show called Carter so he might not be available to guest host. Where's Norman?

Are there people who actually like Lulu? Her character is almost as obnoxious as Carly. Plus she's clueless. Ryan, make her go away. What is the point of having a serial killer in town if he's not killing off the right people. I know I'm not the only viewer with a list. I'm not really connecting with the Oscar story but I don't want him to die. The emotional cues from the Robin/Stone story are not going to be recreated. And as much as I like the Cam actor, having Joss's new love obviously waiting in the wings is distasteful. I'm pretty sure we can all see how this story is going to go. Unless something radical happens I'm not interested in this. After the Ryan story is resolved I really want Ava to get her child back. Carly and Sonny are so awful... there is nothing new I can say. Where is Robert Scorpio? He makes everything better and everything needs to be better. He could be a special investigator or a hospital administrator or anything, just be in Port Charles being delightful.

P.S. I like Terry. She's a doctor. This show is called General Hospital. Why not tell her story?

Today was a good day on GH. Real feelings of compassion and warmth were elicited. I did not experience rage or annoyance or boredom. This was a rare occurrence akin to Haley's Comet. Review and reflect writers, you do have the ability to please the viewers. CBS is doing a survey about Y&R. It is extensive and interesting. On the cusp of the arrival of new showrunners and writers it seems the network is actually interested in what the viewers think. Imagine that.

I've been watching soaps voluntarily since the 60s and that was the first survey I participated in. It was kind of cathartic. I enjoyed sharing my "die, Tessa, die" sentiments along with my appreciation for Mariah, Lola, and Kyle. I figured you guys had everything else covered and I bow to your knowledge and experience in these matters. I wish they'd do a GH survey. We'd tear them a new one. My Kindle is having a break with reality.
