I've always believed that the only reason Jason and Carly don't bang is because Jason isn't interested. Carly sublimated her diesire by claiming the profound friendship but given a half an opportunity she'd hop on him with the quickness. Beside their deaths, that is the only storyline involving them I'd voluntarily watch. I agree with everyone about Sonny moving a unknown boy into his house.it's just ridiculous but it does delay the inevitable Cam/Joss hookup. Summer has arrived so has the teen storyline. How long before they go on the run? Are there any teens actually watching this? I'm so relieved that nuNina is less abrasive. I'm sure Cynthia Watros will bring some different colors to Nina's palette and since we must have Nina it will be a relief. So very tired of DoD but very glad the Nxivm guy got convicted. I guess the paternity stories will resolve in the fall. Summer is going to drag.

Hey LucindaWalsh, don't worry about being a dork here. These people are kind and more than willing to share their knowledge and insights with newbies. I've been watching for about a year and thought I had a pretty good grip on things but with the recent regime change and the return of Adam I'm kind of floundering again. Reading the forums helps a lot with understanding motives and reactions. I enjoyed ATWT. More than anything I miss Doug Marland's mastery of characterization and storytelling. He had a profound understanding of how to weave a story together that current soap writers have no clue about. But I have fond memories of Ruxton Hills, Craig Montgomery, Tonio Reyes, and of course Lucinda Walsh.

Losing Billy Miller makes me sad. Too bad TIIC valued the unwrapped mummy more than him. However, after that foolishness with Kim's elevation sickness and Oscar hallucinations I can't blame him for wanting out. What a waste.

When Shiloh appeared part of his backstory was he knew Drew back when, so what happened to that? Why is Franco so deep in the Ryan operation mix? At this point all WE as viewers can do is anticipate the upcoming B.S. storylines. Rather than do that I'd like to share what I would like to see happen: I want Sonny and crew to go to his island and for Jax to arrange for them to be exiled there indefinitely. I want TPTB to hire Mishael Morgan (ex Hillary Y&R) as Curtis's new love interest. Those two could be fire together. I want a chem test for Rebecca Budig and Jax. Find a love interest for Robert and make him the new police commissioner. Use the nursing staff as nurses and not Nurses Ball entertainers. Send Kristina away to learn how to do something productive. She's too old to be as relentlessly stupid as she is. Move Lulu and family close to wherever Dante is to provide support during treatment offscreen. Dial down the obnoxiousness on nuNina.. Recognize that Laura and Kevin should be the center of GH not mob boss and his wife. Hook up Ava and Scott. It's apparent that he genuinely cares for her and she has affection for him. Give Ava her baby back before she gets shot. Find a storyline for Drew before he gets sucked back to Y&R. Release Margo to Genoa City ASAP. Let's see more Cam and Joss's girlfriend whose name I've forgotten cause she isn't on often enough.

Hey Ciarra the car chase prevented me from seeing most of Tuesday's ep too and guess what? No big loss, Show is awful on so many levels.

I really enjoy this show. I watch it on Ion TV in reruns on Tuesday nights. It is light and pleasant with no gratuitous violence. My hope is that Angie and Shade remain platonic like Holmes and Watson on Elementary. Shade and the attorney was a good hookup, Angie seems to have commitment issues. What happened to the handsome policeman from the first season? I like Mazz and the rest of the cast and look forward to the new season.

I came here to confess that I enjoyed Dr. O's rendition of Guilty. It was brave to cover a Streisand tune with Franco filling in for BeeGee. It actually made me smile. I didn't mind Ava's performance either. However, the Nurses Ball still sucks big-time and needs to cease and desist. Yeah, Joss's dress was an atrocity and yep her and Cam will hookup maybe around Christmas. Please let this DoD crap be over soon. Shiloh is a good actor but I can't understand why a cult leader isn't afraid of the most heinous mob boss on the East coast and his unwrapped mummy enforcer. A week of Lucy is 5 days too many. When does nuNina appear? Not looking forward to the Oscar song of sadness.

I was watching Show today and something triggered a memory of the divine Beverlee McKinsey who played Iris Cory Carrington on Another World and Texas and Alexandra Spaulding on Guiding Light. It is so great to be able to access these vintage shows on YouTube. I loved Iris, her voice, her vitriol, her jealousy of Rachel, her all consuming love for her Daddy. Iris could slice and dice with the best of them. I had forgotten how much I loved that character. She was never boring.

I believe Maxie's hairdo was not extensions but what we used to call a 'fall' which attaches on top of the head and the regular hair is blended into it. Easy peasy. Takes about 3 minutes. And I agree, it wasn't Maxie's best look.

What is the purpose of the red carpet at the Nurses Ball? Seriously, what? It is awful, painfully to watch, just awful. The hairstylists must be understaffed and overworked. That's the only possible excuse for Liz's hair. Her hair always looks decent on a daily basis so why so severe on this 'special' occasion? Sam in a non-black dress was a surprise but I guess it was part of the Shiloh seduction. I was happy to see Deanna, Amy, and Felix. The Nurses Ball sucks as do Nina and Lucy. They should consider having folks donate bucks for them not to have it. I wonder if Laura, Curtis, and Ryan will hit the wormhole and make it to PC for some of the Ball. Jax did look very good but the thought of him and current Nina makes me queasy. When does NuNina arrive? Hope she brings a more chill personality with her. This current Mike storyline is tarnishing the good work he did to win the Emmy. I'll be glad when most of these storylines are done. DoD is killing me, so so boring. Sonny, Jason, Krissy, and Spinelli, too much awful. This is not how you build an audience. Jax, Curtis, Chase, Robert and Drew are worth investing in, let's have some of that.

I want a balance in her relationship with Jack, none of that purse drama. Jack deserves love that's easy like Sunday morning.

Hopefully Mama Rosales has an interesting backstory that includes being estranged from her children due to her marriage to a wealthy, now deceased, husband of whom the kids never approved. So she's been living incommunicado in Monaco until she heard of Lola's recent drama. How do you like my story??? ;)

I'm sorry that the Daytime Emmys are supposed to be a way of rewarding participants in this genre because each year it becomes more and more of a farce and embarrassment. There are only four soaps left so it's not hard to see all of them and be aware of who's doing good work and who is failing abysmally at their task. The fans know what's up with these shows, obviously the Emmy judges are clueless. Every year I'm astounded by the choices made.

Why waste money on a new Corinthii set? The less Corinthii the better.
