Leisl looked very nice today. I enjoy the Jax flirtation. It's better than the vast majority of the pairings on this show.

What is Drew 's status? Is he missing? Is he presumed dead? Was there a memorial? Did anyone go to investigate the plane crash? Or is it just "Drew 's gone, oh well." Did Monica get to react to the news? Did I nod through these Drew sadness or was it ignored? New baby's name should've been Carson for obvious reasons. It acknowledges the GH discussion forums and represents the trend of giving babies names that aren't necessarily gender designated. The Morgan actor's show got cancelled. I'm afraid. I so prefer the Jeromes to the Corinthii. I also prefer NuNina to old Nina. Very happy to see Terry. I'd enjoy a story for her. I read a more accurately descriptive name for GH in another forum- General Mobster. It works for me.

I have to confess that Shiloh's 'death' scene was entertaining. He is a very good actor and I hope he gets more and better opportunities to prove it. Exactly what are they going to do with Dev? He serves no purpose and the implication that Trina is interested in him is insulting to the character and the viewers. I didn't know until I read it here that there was going to be a change in the writing staff. At first I was excited but then I realized that unless the execs are replaced it makes no real difference. As long as the Corinthii drive stories no improvement can occur. And speaking of improvements, why does every blouse Maxie wears have to be a floral print? Why are Laura's outfits so basic? Why are Nina's dresses so unflattering? Did Constance Towers supply her own wardrobe? If we have to watch such lackluster stories at least give the actors decent clothes for us to look at. Did Alexis do the schoolgirl act when she hooked up with Finn? NLG was doing the same thing when Julia hooked up with Mason, it's getting old.

I'm not a fan of Liz but Becky's ability to drop into ultra bitch mode is very impressive. Also she should've beat stupid ass Kim 'til she saw the white meat. I'm not down with Cassandra being a reconstituted Helena. Plus there is no way Helena would've worn that obscenely ugly top. Kim is going to slide on this ridiculous Frew stuff cause she's "grieving". What's going to happen with Joss and Dustin? If they're doing another Laura/David Hamilton type story I'm all in. (Old schoolers help me out- it was David Hamilton, right?). None of these stories entertaining or enjoyable. I wonder if the writers watch shows like Succession and think about their lack of talent? I've watched soaps for a very long time and am currently watching 3 of the 4 surviving network shows and they all suck. Almost everyone on Days is back from the dead and they're trying to make a serial killer the town hero. Y&R is trying to convince their viewers that Victor is dead (again!!!) and letting ex-Nina run amok. And you all know what's happening on GH, nothing good or interesting and we have endless Corinthii. I guess the genre is dead or all the people who knew how to write them are dead. Sad.

GH is the antithesis of smart.

I like Michael E. Knight but I'm afraid he'll get abused and misused like Billy Miller. Who will they try to pair him with? Ava? Albrecht? Monica? Bobbie? He was mentioned frequently on the Y&R forum as a partner for Tracy Abbott or Ashley which would've made sense because he had an established character there. I have no faith in these writers. What else is new?

I had to turn it off today after the intro scenes. The violence that Sonny and Shiloh brought forth in my mind was so intense I couldn't continue watching, even to say goodbye to my beloved Drew. I wanted Ava to break her cocktail glass and just carve up Sonny's face and then shove it into his brain. Then at Pentonville I visualized the phone cord wrapped around Shiloh's neck and pulled until he turned red and his eyes popped. All of that before the theme song. (No, I don't watch horror movies.) I think I need to take a break and just read the forums.

Random shallow thoughts: Lucas looks real good in black scribes. Becky Herbst is very pretty and does not age. Jason's love of spandex tops is ridiculous. Peter looks better with a baseball cap. I hate Hayden 's hair. Helena is wicked but still gorgeous. PLC I don't blame LLC for smacking on Tristan. Why can't wardrobe find some fashion forward outfits for Maxie? Isn't she a fashionista? I miss Billy Miller already. I am sad.

I should've turned this shit off when I saw Dev but no, old habits die hard so I voluntarily exposed myself to numerous atrocities which have all mentioned above. Today's show made me want to use all the profanities I know and create some new ones. And knowing BM is leaving just makes it all worse. He keeps being so good amidst the endless B.S.. There is no discernible thought process to this flash drive story. The writers had a chance to do something if not believable at least interesting, but no, what we're getting is like some drunken party game for writers with no cohesiveness just nonstop junk. I could bitch forever but it's a waste of time and energy. There is no hope for this.

I'm watching this on Ovation where it's sometimes paired with Phryne Fisher. I'm in agreement with those who prefer Trudy, Flo, and Mary to Frankie. I enjoy the concept of the show but some of the visuals (Frankie's wigs and most of the costumes) make me flinch. I'd like it more if Frankie appeared sporadically and the wardrobe budget was increased so it doesn't look like random thrift store purchases. I've always loved Canadian shows and valued the different perspectives they offer, I just wish this one would adjust its focus differently.

Didn't Nik kill Helena with poisoned tea? So if Nik and Helena come back that might be a problem. Or is retcon on the horizon? Please remind me: What is Hayden 's beef with Valentin? So,FrankenDrew comes with new, player moves. The writers are exhibiting some form of summer madness. Makes me think of the Ed Sullivan show with the plate spinners except the writers are not talented and all the plates will be on the floor, broken any minute now.

What kind of name is Turning Woods for Mike's facility? It makes no sense to me. I like Max Gail's performance but this story has gone on too long and is too focused on Sonny. I don't want Julian to leave town but considering the contempt so many people have for him maybe it's best. Doesn't Kristina owe him money? On one level I'm kind of impressed with the way the writers are manipulating this flash drive story to include the everlasting Franco redemption cycle because it's creative but it's also annoying. Drew deserved this storyline attention and never got it. I don't want this aftermath and all it encompasses.

What does it say about the creative team that they couldn't figure out a storyline for an attractive, multi-talented, young woman who didn't have baggage as a thief, liar, kidnapper, or murderer? I could've gone with Ana/Kyle or Ana/Mariah or Ana/New character but I guess it's like someone mentioned upthread: there can be only one.

So now that Billy Miller is leaving TIIC decide to beef up his long dormant storyline?? Yeah, he was in the Oscar death storyline, but suddenly now we're getting lots of Drew. I think it is mean to play him up on his way out. I'm a big Drew fan, this is what should've been going on all along. And to put in scenes with Jason? That's just hurtful to see Drew being all handsome and charismatic versus what we're gonna be left with? That damn T-shirt?!?! Unjustifiable and ridiculous. I miss Drew already. Now let's talk about the Sonny/Neil conversation. WTF was that? First it was "Dude, I owe you one cause you handled that business" then it turned into some b.s. gangster threat "Don't be telling Krissy business or else" I liked that Neil's response was a well tempered F you and your gangster foolishness. Today's episode was ramped up crazy, Valentin drugging cocktails, scary looking Cassandra, random Finn on Spoon island, co-conspirators hostile Jax and Hayden, intrusive Diane v. Alexis. So much over the top. At least it wasn't boring.

I've got the sads about Billy Miller. He was so wasted and unappreciated. What makes it worse is that he was on more recently and was consistently excellent. He is a good actor and I will miss him. We've only got Chase, Curtis and the Scorpio brothers left. Kind of depressing.

I'm beginning to believe the soap execs are trying to discourage viewers. There is so much tired trash recycling going on this summer on all the soaps. Why should we continue watching? The thought of Jax and Carly is so repulsive not even the possibility of Sonny and Jason's heads exploding makes it palatable.

Ok, I'm done. First, TIIC force feed me a bunch of characters I'm not familiar with,then they bring on manic MS, then they hype up and deflate the Tracy romance, then my satellite service has a dispute with CBS so I would have to watch it on my computer and now they fired Loren Lott (Ana). I'm so done. The more I think about it the angrier I get. I wish Loren the best and I hope to see more of her in the immediate future.

I hope Trina's sole purpose is not to provide support to Joss. She deserves her own storyline where Joss and Cam can support her. CW's Nina is such a relief from MS. Now if wardrobe could find a middle ground between the island dresses and the floral sheet ensembles it would be good.

The only way Dev works for me is if he is an undercover WSB agent embedded in the Corinthos vortex of hell to gain info on their practices and build an international criminal case. But of course that would require a much better actor and more creative writers. One of the few encouraging reasons to watch this show is the frequent appearances of the Scorpios and Curtis in suits. Also Drew with or without clothes. (I would include Jax but some half remembered old IR business keeps .me from fully enjoying him). Ava looked nice this week, hairstyle and lovely white blouse. Maxie and Lulu have once again turned up the stupid ans Son of Faison trailing around after Maxie like he's brain dead isn't helping. I like Hayden. I hope she doesn't wimp out. I want her to be 'take no prisoners' like Tracy was. I enjoy Chase and Willow and would like them to get past this DoD baby drama soon. Anytime Jason acts like he has cognitive abilities is a big disconnect for me because for so long he was like Hodor only less pleasant. So, shall we play 'Who's Gonna Kill Shiloh?'. I saw a nomination for Harmony. Today I'm voting for Jordan because: a) unexpected b) wouldn't be a loss c)eventually frees up Curtis to love again. Any other nominees? I'm happy they created something for Robert to do but I think he would've made a better hospital administrator like Dan Rooney was thereby placing more emphasis on hospital doings and less on inept law enforcement activities. (Letting Hit man interview that woman is collusion of the worst kind). How did Shiloh know when, where, and why to show up for the will foolishness if Alexis didn't know about the bequest?
