I think the producers get a ton of footage. I think they wait until near the end of the season to start crafting a story out of the footage that they get. I think there's two types of footage; the first type is carefully created by the cast, who's going to fight who and why. The second type is the drama that organically unfolds over the course of the season. The producers take what's fake and what's real and carefully craft a story. I think the producers began to realize towards the end of the season the foster marriage is not going to make it, so they went back and looked at all the footage with Yolanda and started whittling down the storyline to be about just her. They probably thought people would be interested since the dissolution of the marriage would come either during the season or at the end of the season which would make the real housewives more watchable / interesting. Conveniently, it also sets up the storyline for next season; Yolanda's comeback story.

Is it just me or did Andy throw more shade at Kenya than he usually does at Housewives? Don't get me wrong, I loved it. I'm just wondering why Andy all of a sudden is throwing a little shade himself. I wonder if it's to protect Kim F.? Or if he really doesn't like Kenya? Or if Kenya did something to piss him off? So much WIN in this statement.

No one likes to be insulted about their appearance. There's literally no evidence of this. If you're saying the model MUST think that way because she's white, and you're basing that opinion solely on her being white, then that's racially predjudiced thinking.

That's funny, because I felt the woman tour guide, Rachel, was pretty chill and the black tour guide was all "look at me". You know, finding a chance to be naked whenever possible and photographing it.

What's up with the new couple?

I get it; DJ is the Lauren Conrad of the sitcom world. My only real point is that I don't think her personality has changed in the reboot, only that she's still boring (to me) lol. Remember when Madonna moved to England and had a terrible British accent for a while? Maybe that's what happened to CCB. Maybe her accent is her neurolingual interpretation of her husband's accent.

Aside from comedic hijinks that she got into as a child on the show, DJ didn't have much of a personality in Full House. Stephanie was witty, Kimmy was a weirdo, Michelle was the cute baby/toddler, but aside from DJ being an older, wiser sister, she didn't really have a personality of her own. And she still doesn't on this show. Her character is one of the least compelling characters of all time to lead a sitcom, IMO. I also agree that her accent is weird now.

Maybe we haven't heard from Danny's new wife because she died already. You know, the life expectancy of a Tanner spouse isn't very long.

I 800% don't care if Tootie's husband is gay. Yawn. When I'm watching I think: Please ladies, find some other issue to be snarky/gossipy about. I think Phaedra looked like The Cat in the Hat in her brunch outfit. I'm liking Nene this season, but damn, she and Phaedra sure are thirsty for someone to be mean to Kenya. I don't think it's all production-invoked, I think Nene and Phaedra really don't like Kenya and would love to make it unpleasant enough for her to quit.

I'm probably in the minority to think this way, but I don't think Stassi wants to come back on the show just for fame. I mean, I don't think she would turn down fame, but I think she wants to come back on the show because she feels lost. I think she's looking to reset her life to a time when everything made sense and she felt in control, and it seems the last time she felt that way was when she worked at SUR and was friends with everybody.

I FINALLY figured out who Stassi reminds me of! Sarah Michelle Gellar! If they ever do one of those horrible made-for-TV movies, she should totally play her.

My friend who has chronic Lyme thinks the spirochetes from the Lyme got into Yolanda's implants and that's how they got so messed up. No idea if it's true, but it's an interesting theory.

I agree about Rob and Tara. I think they use lust to smooth over problems. It makes me wonder if issues are getting worked through?
