Let's not forget, some of those days off ABC supposedly gave Kelly to "process" Michael's leaving the show (either Thursday-today or Friday-today) were apparently scheduled before the announcement of Michael's leaving for GMA, for Kelly & Mark's family anniversary trip to Turks & Caicos (which was then apparently also canceled). So, technically, ABC really only "gave" her Wednesday & maybe Thursday to "process" things since she already had some of those days off as scheduled vacation. Something nobody else has mentioned, which I thought was interesting & I noticed, was that the book Kelly was photographed carrying also had the word "giant" or "giants" in the title. Michael played in the NFL for the NY Giants.

That's Nahele. As Betsyboo said, either last season or the season before, he stole--& stripped--the Mercury Marquis car (which was the original McGarrett's car in the original H5O) which had belonged (in this version of the show) to Steve's dad before his death. Steve caught Nahele & showed him an unsigned crime report relating to what Nahele did with/to the car. He told Nahele he'd keep the unsigned report in his desk, & not file it with HPD, as long as Nahele adhered to certain conditions, such as helping Steve put the Marquis back together, staying in school, getting a job (I think he works at Kamekona's shrimp truck), & staying out of trouble--all of which he's apparently done. Then, last season (or maybe early this season), Nahele's criminal father was released from Halawa Correctional Facility & he regained custody of Nahele, whose mom is apparently dead. Nahele didn't want anything to do with his father & he told Steve (offscreen) that he had been in a car, reading a comic book, when he was a kid & he heard/saw his dad shoot & kill someone. He also apparently told Steve where this happened & he & Five-0 found the buried remains there. That got Nahele's dad sent back to Halawa, leading up to his dad's death in this ep.

If Jodie (Jodie & Keo) are physically unable to dance in tomorrow night's show, then they have to withdraw from the competition/they're eliminated, yes. It's in the contract/rules. There's plenty of precedent for this, including last season (or the season before) with Kim Fields' Real Housewives of Atlanta (former?) co-star, Kim Zolciak Biermann, who was partnered with Tony Dovolani (Marla Maples' partner this season). Kim ZB had to withdraw last season after becoming ill, with what turned out to be a cardiac issue needing surgery, when she returned to Atlanta after an early season DWTS show. I think you can probably find the whole Kim ZB thing on YouTube if you look.

George Stephanopolous is doing a live Special Report on ABC as I type about Prince's death, & Harry Smith is also doing 1 on NBC; CBS is also doing 1. It probably is or soon will be Breaking News on the cable news channels, as well.

According to this, Kelly won't be back on the show until at least Tuesday. Dancing with the Stars' Erin Andrews has been called in to co-host tomorrow's show & Friday's, which is being pretaped. Shay Mitchell from Pretty Little Liars will co-host on Monday's show. There seems to still be some "confusion" about whether Kelly's absence was or wasn't planned. The show's saying she was planning to be off Friday (which sounds weird if they were always planning to pretape that show after Thursday's live show) & Monday; other sources are saying she's just absent because she's pissed, or whatever, over when/how she found out about Michael leaving for GMA fulltime. http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/inside-kelly-ripas-absence-from-live-1201757835/

Filming actually takes more like 9-10 months a year. They usually start soon after the 4th of July, & they usually wrap at the beginning of April. S6's set blessing was July 8th of last year & filming either started that day or the next, July 9th (which, since you're talking about Scott, was Scott's daughter's first birthday), & they wrapped filming on April 6th this year (they had a wrap party in Honolulu on the 7th & 1 in LA this past weekend... Or at least that's when pics from the LA wrap party started showing up on Social Media). Personally, I sympathize with Scott... But that's just me.

I'm pretty sure I read, in "season preview" type articles with the showrunners, & others have also mentioned the same in other threads here, that the showrunners decided not to include the tragic Russian shootdown of Korean Airlines Flight 007 in the storyline, for whatever reason.

I just wanna know what happened to her "going away for awhile after the 1989 World Tour was over", like I'd swear she promised in an interview before the tour ended, which I'd also swear is mentioned somewhere upthread. She's still as visible (in my opinion) as she always has been; she hasn't "gone away" in any way, shape, or form. So much for her promises. Doesn't she know people can't miss her if she won't go the hell AWAY?
