  1. Whatever she may or may not be doing, she's definitely at the Tonys. The TV show Extra Tweeted a pic of her on the red carpet awhile ago. She looks damn good for having recently given birth--& they didn't get any details on the baby or the birth. I don't know if Matthew's with her & just skipped the red carpet, or if he's home watching the kid(s). Anyway... If you can't see her pic, click the pic.twitter link that starts after the TonyAwards hashtag.
  2. Rob Lowe's being roasted by Comedy Central. No word yet whether it'll air live or be pre-taped. Also no word yet on an airdate for the roast. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/comedy-central-set-roast-rob-901288
  3. Rob Lowe's gonna be roasted by Comedy Central. No word yet on if it'll be aired live or pre-taped, or when the airdate will be. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/comedy-central-set-roast-rob-901288
  4. I think it's doubtful Mark will get the job. His new Fox show, Pitch, about the first female major league baseball player, was supposed to be on Fox's Midseason Schedule then was moved--after the Fall Schedule was announced--to Thursday nights on the Fall Schedule (presumably to at least part of Bones' timeslot; they're now holding that show's final season until midseason). And Mark's show shoots in LA.
  5. Dave says he couldn't care less about what's going on now in late night TV, & he wishes his show had gone to a woman (he wasn't consulted on who was getting the job). There's also an excerpt from the Dateline: On Assignment interview at the link. It was done in Indianapolis over Memorial Day Weekend, by Tom Brokaw. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/david-letterman-i-couldnt-care-901143
  6. They haven't announced when filming will start yet. Or even when S5 will be airing next year. At least not that I can remember. All that's been announced is a renewal for S5 & S6; S6 will be the final season; S5 will air in 2017 & S6 in 2018. By the way, since this didn't have to do with the episode, it should've gone in 1 of the more "general" show-related threads instead.
  7. The cast & crew talk with Entertainment Weekly about the show's potential future on Netflix & even Broadway. http://www.ew.com/article/2016/05/31/galavant-cast-creators-future-show-broadway?xid=entertainment-weekly_socialflow_twitter
  8. Dave fact checks Steve Martin at the Peabody Awards. http://www.ew.com/article/2016/05/31/david-letterman-steve-martin-peabody-awards?xid=entertainment-weekly_socialflow_twitter
  9. Eddie's kids' barbecue championship show is already airing. The second ep ran last night (it's on Mondays at 8 Eastern/7 Central). His co-host is model Camilla Alves, best known as the wife of Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey & mother of their 3 kids.
  10. Don't feel bad about posting the links from yesterday. Like you said, they were already out there. So they're fair game, as far as I'm concerned. Besides, Keri had the baby so well bundled up all we saw was the blue "sling" carrier she had it in; we didn't see anything of the baby. So far, there haven't been any updates to the birth announcement--as in no announcement of the name, gender, actual birthdate, or anything else pertinent. If either or both are on a talk show again soon (which may happen since the season finale is on the 8th), maybe they'll spill the beans there. I saw both of the other celebrity announcements you referenced. More power to them/their families for keeping those secrets that long, although I'm not sure I see the "value" in keeping someone's death quiet for 6 months in the second case you referenced. I used to watch Alice too.
  11. I forgot Matthew had a different legal last name! Now that you mention it, isn't Rhys really Matthew's middle name? I have no idea if he legally changed his last name to Rhys or not. But, yeah, if he didn't then I suppose the baby's legal last name would be Evans instead of Rhys--or some sort of hyphenate of Matthew & Keri's last names unless they also pulled off a wedding nobody knows about yet. Yeah, I feel badly too that the baby's only a week old, or less, & somebody's already following them for pics of them with it. Not to mention being camped out basically on the family's front stoop (doorstep). If it took us a week to find out the baby arrived, when did they find out to be able to get those pics this weekend/today? Did they have some kind of source in Maternity at whichever hospital Keri delivered it at? Whatever... They've had paps following them around since people got a whiff they might be together in real life, like they were doing something wrong although I'm pretty sure Keri's divorce was already in the works before at least the public knew anything. So I assume they may be used to it now--& I bet it would be just as bad if they lived/shot the show in LA. Even if they're in any way used to it, it doesn't mean they have to like it. And I'm not sure I would. At least I wouldn't like someone I don't know trying to take/actually taking a pic of any of my minor kids, newborn or not, without my permission (& there was a borderline stalkery problem with this in another TV fandom of mine this week, so I'm probably especially riled up about this issue [strangers taking pics of celebrities'--in particular--minor children without parental permission] right now). The parents are famous, so they're "fair game", basically; the kids just happened to be born into it, so leave them alone unless/until the parents give their permission for photographs or the kids are old enough to consent to them.
  12. Congrats to Matthew & Keri (& her older kids) on their new arrival! But way to let the birth news leak over a (US) holiday weekend, with just the general announcement that the baby arrived (last week), & no publicist(s) available to release what I consider the "really important" info: the baby's name & gender. But if Matthew & Keri wanna keep that in their family, that's OK too (don't laugh, but I actually dreamed, while Keri was pregnant, it would be a boy & they named it Matthew Russell Rhys--a combination of both their names, with Russell being the middle name & not, like, part of a hyphenated/otherwise combined last name). A Tweet on my Twitter feed, from Entertainment Tonight (aka ET), linked to their birth story which referred--based on the Daily Mail pics showing Keri carrying the baby in what looks to be a light blue carrier--to the baby as a "he". But you can't tell anything about the gender from the pics other than that possible clue... Which may not be accurate at all. I mean, the media's talked about plenty of pregnant celebs who were supposedly giving a "clue" to their expected baby's gender by often wearing either blue or pink in public during the pregnancy & then the baby ended up being the opposite gender to that which is normally signified by the color the mother wore most during the pregnancy (like: they wore a lot of pink while pregnant, perhaps implying they were expecting a girl, but then they had a boy, or vice-versa). I really hope that someone will either "leak" or officially announce the name & gender details soon. I'm just curious about it. And I hope it's a reasonably normal name & not something "out there" like "Dweezil" or something.
  13. In case you listen, but don't subscribe, to (& automatically get) the episodes of Josh Malina & Hrishikesh Hirway's The West Wing Weekly podcast, they apparently released a special episode today for Memorial Day. Their guest is Melissa Fitzgerald who played Carol, CJ's Assistant as Press Secretary, & they apparently talk about the work she does now, as Senior Director of Justice for Vets.
  14. Dave said, I assume jokingly, that if 1 of his racing team's drivers doesn't win the Indy 500 this year, he's going to fake his death. http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/05/david-letterman-indy-500-fake-death-video?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter&dlvrit=206567
  15. I guess this is the right place for this. I was searching through the TV section of the (US) iTunes Store earlier today & I noticed that not only can you (still) buy each season of the show individually there, but you can also buy all 7 seasons together, sort of like a legally downloadable version of the Complete Series DVDs. I don't know how long the series has been available at iTunes in that form, only that it wasn't available like that the last time I looked at their TWW offerings (which was long after the Complete Series DVDs were released, but not very recently). The Complete Series version of the show is $74.99 on iTunes. Yeah, that sounds like a lot--& it probably is (maybe unless you take into consideration they made 7 seasons &, I think, over 150 eps of the show)--but, considering the individual seasons may still be as costly as $39.99 for each individual full season, if you want TWW on your iPod, iPad, or other Apple device & you don't have it there yet, the Complete Series version may be the better/cheaper way to get it now. Just putting that out there.
  16. Lily Tomlin's character name is (Mrs.) Debbie Fiderer. Maybe she wasn't as great as Mrs. Landingham, but I never had a problem with her. Probably because I thought she was quirky, & I like quirky, & because I also like Lily Tomlin.
  17. I enjoyed the irony of when Patty said "I'm pregnant.", to Don given that Keri was actually pregnant when she filmed the scene (I went, "No shit, Sherlock." in my head when she said it. I also enjoyed the irony of Stan talking, but not talking, to Philip about the bad things the KGB did to people when Stan wasn't aware Philip knew all too well about those bad things because he actually was KGB & did them himself (along with Elizabeth).
  18. Link to the press release, with likely cover art, for the S1 DVDs & Blu-Rays. http://tvshowsondvd.com/news/Lucifer-Season-1/22300
  19. In my opinion, Kelly could've found something else to talk about besides stories involving Heidi Klum. She had at least 3 stories involving Heidi. I know Seal & Heidi apparently still get along, but Kelly could've talked about other topics.
  20. As many sources (& there were many on my Twitter feed) as reported Rob Lowe's in negotiation, or whatever, to be Kelly's new co-host, 1 said it was definitely not true. I follow him on Twitter (longtime The West Wing fan); he's filming a movie somewhere on location right now. Guess we'll see what happens.
  21. Ginger actually got a complete leave of absence from GMA, to concentrate on DWTS, a few weeks ago; her backup, Rob Marciano, has been working GMA, & Ginger's other weather broadcast duties, full time lately. Ginger said yesterday (Wednesday), during GMA's annual DWTS "afterparty" with the Final 3 couples, she'll be back full time on GMA today (Thursday).
  22. The barbecue was thrown by the Beemans in S1, for Stan's FBI colleagues; the Jennings were invited so they could meet new people. It was a kinda big thing in 1 of the eps.
  23. She gave him her wallet to get rid of him, then took it back so the cops, when they investigated the death, had no clues.
  24. Here's a link to an article about it from Entertainment Weekly's website. http://www.ew.com/article/2016/05/24/galavant-cast-music-video?xid=entertainment-weekly_socialflow_twitter
  25. This season they included the audience vote scores from last week in determining the champions. They used the Judges scores from both nights of the Finale, as always.
